Freshwater fish tank!
Ariel N.

As a aquarium hobbyist since 1988, I am very selective of the stores that I do business with after poor experiences with fish having disease, water quality and store cleanliness. This Petco Store near Marsh Landing is the best store for fish everything IMO - although a "chain" pet store, this Petco always has pristine water quality in their fish tanks, healthy fish and a decent selection of aquariums and accessories. I purchased my current freshwater aquarium, came with OTB power filter 20 years ago (for a incredible sale price) and it is still working marvelously for my schools of community fish! Check out this Petco store near Marsh Landing for your aquarium fish stuff - you'll be glad you did!! April 6, 2018: here in store to "bring back" and donate a beautiful and very healthy red tiger barb that I've had for 1-2 years - the tiger barb got big and something inside switched and he all of a sudden got territorial - decided to go on a nipping spree with the other fish and Community tank harmony was disrupted. I Connected with Cheyenne the Manager who remembered selling me this fish and she gladly took him back to donate to another good customer to add to their tiger barb tanks. Thank you Cheyenne and Petco once again!

Piss poor service at this Ponte Vedra location!!! Took our almost blind 8 lb schnauzer for the 3rd time to be groome... an hour after dropping her off, get a card to come get her they say she was aggressive and tried to bite several time.... a bunch of BS she's never been aggressive! tryi to add a picture poor thing is hideous!

Crossed the ditch and a bridge to go here specifically to check out the rescue kittens TARAA had for adoption. (Just to be clear, adoptions of rescues are animals that were NOT purposefully bred to sell for profit). 17 kittens today and we brought one home. Because suckers. Petco is smaller than its competitor and seems pricier too. Neither of these observations mean it's a "bad" thing, it just Is what it is. It was pretty busy Saturday so obviously, they're doing something right. The U-FIll-It kitty litter was interesting. Selection of pet food seemed extensive. Had everything a pet owner would need plus classes and grooming. Check marks all the way around plus extra points for letting Rescue Groups do their thang in their building. If I lived close to Petco, I'd probably use it for the kitty litter and supplies that are priced similarly in other stores. If you'd like a furry companion, consider adopting and not buying your furever friend. Regardless, of how you acquire Fido or Fifi, Petco seems a decent place to stock up.

Scotty content just after getting home because they got us in and out quick plus could shop for some post-groom treats while waiting.

Love Petco, always have great sale items and their Whole Hearted food is great! Hadn't been for grooming (nail trim) there before but this was my kitty within a few minutes of getting home. Completely content because they got us in and out quick plus could shop for some post-groom treats while waiting. Thanks Cassandra & Michelle!

Olga did a fine job grooming my two shorthair cats. I scheduled a full grooming (haircut, bath +…read morenails) for both cats. This was my first time taking my cats anywhere to be groomed so, I wasn't sure what to expect, and I chose to wait there during the appointment. I should have initially asked more questions about the appointment timeframes, where the cats wait, and overall wait times, but I was not sure what questions to ask. Good: Their haircuts look good, they received baths, and all of their nails were trimmed. I am pleased with how both of them look and I know they feel better with less fur for the upcoming summer heat. when I arrived I was given a 4 to 5 hour timeframe (from my appointment time was to until they would be done), but Olga was quick, and their grooming appointment only took one and half hours instead. I did wait at the shop, which may have influenced the time. Not-So Good: She did trim their nails, but they were cut entirely too short for cat nails. Both cats were not injured by this, their nails are just too short. The initial wait time was another issue for me. when I arrived I was told it would be about 4 to 5 hours. not only was this a long time, but my cats would have been waiting in their small carriers to be groomed and they were already nervous. I know some wait is inevitable, but I would have preferred a later appointment time if Olga could start their grooming right away. After being told this time, I was surprised when a woman walked in behind me with two cats and the same appointment time as me. That made no sense if there was already a lengthy wait time. Bad: The lack of cleanliness in the shop surprised me a lot. There was a lot of dirt and dust around the waiting area, and an overall unkept state of the shop. This was not a great first grooming impression for me. Overall, this was a fine grooming experience for both me and my cats. The haircuts look good, they received baths, and their nails are cut. Even with the good aspects, I will be grooming my cats at home in the future, due to the wait times and stress involved with today's grooming experience.

The groomer didn't seem very enthusiastic about working with her, which made me a little uneasy since it was her first grooming appointment. The biggest concern was that she was nicked during the cut, and I wasn't informed at pickup--I only noticed it once we got home. That said, the service wasn't terrible, and I would consider coming back if I needed a last-minute grooming appointment. However, I'll likely be exploring other options for future visits.

The process was easy as we called in a few days before the appointment as Heidi made sure it was confirmed and ready to go last Thursday, July 28 as we dropped our boy off at exactly 1PM. They usually allow at least 4 hours. We got the call at around 430 PM and picked him up, we were very happy to see our boy looking so clean and smells so good, that it did smell like cotton candy lol Thank you Aki, Deanna and the rest of the Squad for teaming up and giving our boy a great experience here at Green Dog Spa, next time he will have his Full-Body Haircut for the next summer as he insists that it is not long yet. P.S GDS also has a Mobile Grooming based on the appointment-definitely a furry good idea for those of us who work from home during the weekdays. So come check out Green Dog Spa for grooming needs for your pet, cats included too!

I was getting bath and brush and simply asked to make sure my dogs ears can be dried cause she gets infections. Nope they gave her back with wet ears just like pets mart does but at least pets mart tells me. They tried to act like nothing was wrong And to top it off they blamed me and said since my dog has a double coat next time it be 47 dollars extra. I don't mind paying but what was the point of asking all the questions about my dog like breed weight and all that. It's a golden retriever as long as I've known they come double coated so why make it seem like it's my fault. Idk very disappointed.
