Obviously, they have had bad luck in the past, but the numerous paragraphs explaining why our pup didn't make the cut was insulting not only to us but to our dog. Did they ever think about having a one-on-one meeting with the pup, to see if this HUGE 28-pound pup showed any signs of aggression? No! Now we are glad they turned down our pup, because I don't want him in with a bunch of prima donnas. He would more than likely be ignored because this loving, kissing pup would be "Classified as unfit for their program. It's been a life saver with my work schedule. All indoors ( don't have to worry about the outdoor heat) They have different play rooms (they match your pups energy and group) Their staff is on it. Everyone communicates really well and make it so easy. They text you photos when you're out of town, they have a Facebook group. Prices are very competitive. They do not have grooming but can do baths and nails! For my old man I asked he has downtime vs the all day play so he's not too tired and he takes his naps for blocks at a time to rest. She took no time at all to warm up to Dr.Zoe. Now when I tell her it's time to see Dr.Zoe she runs to the car wagging her tail! We are working on her sway back and her nervous system. Cane corsos and other big chested dogs start to have back issues earlier which lead to other issues. I'm trying to prevent problems by taking her now at 5 and reverse any damage that was done before I rescued her. Animal chiropractic is so gently compared to human. Dr.Zoe takes her time to make sure my girl is ready and feeling safe. Betty is instrumental in our chihuahua's quality of life. Our little 5 lb girl, Munequita, was…read morediagnosed with meningitis and has spent the past year struggling with seizures, relapses, and neurological disability. Brain disease affects her tiny body is so many ways a person wouldn't think about until dealing with it. Munequita has a leftward turn that both makes her walk in circles and, on bad days, corkscrews her head and whole body to the side such that she's a little doughnut. Medication doesn't relieve this, but Betty does. When our dog is having a bad day, Betty comes in and whispers to her, loves her, touches her with those magic fingers. She finds all the sore places, muscles overtaxed from the struggles she has in walking, finds and names the exact muscle in her neck that is twisted and painful, discovers tension radiating up into clenched doggie jaws and massages the mandible loose again. Over the day, we watch Munequita straighten. By the next morning, she's relaxed again, relieved and comfortable. Not only that, but as part of her low-key seizures activity that resists medication, Munequita went through several months when she had a pernicious involuntary and almost constant bobbing of the head. Betty showed us how to get it to stop by applying pressure to the muscles. If she'd cared about money and not her patient, she could have scheduled millions of appointments in which she gave Munequita momentary relief. Instead, because she cares first about the dog, she gave her knowledge freely, taught us how to do this ourselves. Being able to stop the bob at any time of day or night helped Munequita so much. There is no way to measure the relief it brought our dog, or to put a price tag on this piece of knowledge just handed to us. Betty has two levels of certification, she knows all the muscles, she knows all the science of massage therapy. There's also something more, some je ne sais quoi, that goes beyond the science and training and lets her connect in a deep infinity of the soul with her furry little patient and covey care, and comfort, and wellness. I honestly don't know where our girl would be without her.
