It is now 2025/2026 and Cheryl's younger sister has taken over the business with Cheryl semi-retiring. The service is still amazing and very caring to the dogs, and Des is modernizing the operations with on-line bookings and automated reminders....very cool. I am on the 4th generation of my dogs, where I bring all 4 dogs for grooming/spa treatment. They all come out looking great. Des is very mindful of the dogs state of mind and does everything to try to provide a calm atmosphere for the dogs. For the caring service and great grooming the dogs receive, her rates are very reasonable. They actually seem to look forward to their spa treatment, unlike when I take them to the Vet.

I walked in and…read morechecked in and she seemed a little overwhelmed/wanting to get the day done with (we were her last client of the day). She asked me what kind of cut I wanted and I let her know I wanted a mohawk style cut and she said she didn't understand what I wanted, I then tried to show her using my dogs body and she was still confused and started getting an attitude. She told me to pick a blade size before she could proceed and I tried telling her that I wanted to first show her what I meant and she ignored it and walked away and turned off the music and then started to walk back. My mom had been with me and told me I should leave and not allow her to cut my dog. She must've overheard my mom say this because her attitude immediately shifted and she became a little bubbly and kinder. I let her know I didn't want the mohawk anymore because it seemed too difficult to communicate with her what I wanted and I would just do a trim all over and to round his face out. She then let me know typically only poodles do that cut and asked if I was sure I wanted that cut (completely unnecessary comment). I let her know he has been getting groomed and that is his typical cut when we don't do something fun/funky. I only stayed because my dog was in need of a haircut and I was already there. I really hoped the haircut would come out great since it was the same cut on his entire body and then just face shaping and she made it a point to let me know she's been a stylist for 30 years. I had to fix up the parts that were extremely uneven and I fixed behind his ears which were not groomed in the same places. She also let me know when I picked him up how much of a good boy he was for her so I'm even more confused by the uneven cutting. I will definitely not be returning and I am so disappointed by her service because the guy (Chris) who booked my appointment was so friendly and helpful.

    Wanted to try a new groomers close to me. Made an appointment more than a week in advance. Filled…read moreout and signed a couple of their forms. They then contacted me the day before asking me if I could come in the next morning instead of the 3:00 pm scheduled time. I told them I could not because I work in the morning and was starting early so I could drop my dog off at 3:00 pm. After some messaging back and forth, they ended up being able to accommodate us. I dropped off about 20 minutes early, and got a text message when grooming was complete. Lots of open parking stalls when I was there. They are able to take CC with a small service fee. I'm happy with the overall outcome and will be back when it's time again.

    I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of communication and organization at this business. My…read moredog was staying at the MWR Kennel, which shares the same office. I booked a bath and nail trim for him on the day I was scheduled to pick him up. The appointment notes explicitly stated that he was already at the kennel.The day before his appointment, they texted me asking to bring in his shot records. I replied to let them know that MWR Kennel already had all of his paperwork on file, and they texted back saying, "okay thanks."Despite this, on the day of pickup, they completely forgot to get my dog for his spa appointment. They even had him marked down as a "NO SHOW" in their system! When I informed them about it, they simply said "oops." I pointed out that the appointment notes clearly stated he was in the kennel, and they even admitted that the notes were right there. It is completely unacceptable to miss an appointment and blame the customer when all the correct information was provided to them beforehand.
