Yesterday I got a rabies vaccine with another location. I went there today to get my Japanese chin groomed, and they would not accept the paperwork from another Petco location. Even though we had the paperwork along with the rabies tag, they still would not groom my dog. I will never ever go back to this location again to patronize them. I will also be encouraging my coworkers along with my family, not to patronize this location, as well as they do not provide good customer service in our inconsistent with their policies! Very poor interaction as well with a tone the groomer used with me! Very rude individual! read more

I would say the Groomers at this Petco excellent. Make sure you let them know what your dog likes and doesn't like. My dog is a Cookie Monster when she's being groomed or having her toenails cut so treats are always good. She's a happy energetic dog so that's always exciting to see her get good care. I wish this Petco had the medicated food that one of my dogs requires because I have to go to Pecos competitor. The plus side is I can always find what I'm looking for. The downside can occasionally be there's not or does not appear to have a lot of staff to address sometimes long line, but that's not any staff person issue I've always always had a good experience with staff. As we all know, prices are ridiculous. Everywhere we go so it's not to Petco or any other animal care place. I've always found this Petco to be clean. read more

I had to come on here and say that every person I have communicated with there have always been so nice and knowledgeable about products. One person that stood out the other day to me was Thad! The past month and a half I started feeding my 12yr old cat Solid Gold soft food, she stopped eating it and at the first scent of it she'd just walk away. She was puking bile every morning for 1.5 weeks. Turns out Solid Gold has an ongoing class action lawsuit against them since August of 2018. It states 3 hard foods and 3 softs foods have high levels of Arsenic, BPA, Cadmium, Mercury and Lead!!! I told Thad this and he seemed very concerned and took me to other better options of soft foods, including B.F.F, which his cats love and Applaws, which has limited ingredients. Currently am back to feeding her the Organix brand but i will definitely keep those two in mind, they sound like fantastic options. Took small dog in for grooming. They cut him and didn't tell me. Kept saying he'd be done in about 2 more hours because someone was sick. Finally came in to see why so long. Saw his foot bloody. He couldn't walk same for 6 months. Now he's been afraid to go back and panics. Had to find a better place. This place hires people off the street? This was Petco at Smokey Point near Arlington Washington. They seem quite nice but will cover for each other when it goes south. read more

I felt a necessity to write an update for this Petco. I came in for some fish and the store seemed brighter. Lighting was my major "issue" on my first visit, but the store definitely felt more "alive" on my recent visit. The staff were extremely helpful even if the store was busy. The staff at the tanks was not only helpful, but knowledgeable as well. She addressed my concerns (can't control the algae in my tanks!) and even gave me some useful tips. My Koko loves "Fantasia" the Pet Grooming Manager who is just so kind hearted to All the pets. I usually get the Pick (3) Spa Package and have them clean her teeth, add a floral scent to her coat after her bath, and trim her nails. She always comes out fresh & Clean! Fish covered in ich multiple times I've come in there. Killed off all of our fish before we knew what those sugary specks actually were. Very sad. They don't care, of course. I mentioned it to manager and she went on about how they lost a ton of fish - whaat? To return something they want a hair, blood & urine sample. Just weird. They also sell their bettas for like 20+ dollars. I brought it to their attention that 3 or more were floating miserably upside down in their quarter full, ammonia filled water cup. & all she did was flick their cups and tell them to get moving. :-X Terrible. (She's actually the "fish expert".) Sad. Will never purchase fish (or much of anything) from that store. They are very wrong in the way they treat all their pets! read more

They Did a great job of my 2 dogs Lola is a one year old labradoodle very high energy and she looks beautiful and they told us where she might have a few issues with her skin. Stella has problems sometimes with people touching her but her nails look fantastic they were very Long and I can't believe how short they were able to cut them without getting to the quick. The groomers were really nice and personable and I will definitely bring my dogs back. read more

I have taken my doodle here a few times for bath and cut..Always happy with her look, probably go no less than ever 4 or 5 weeks..Today picked up my baby and they SHAVED her! I screamed and yelled..The guy said he almost called vet she was matted..BS .My dog is my everything, we brush and take her to groomers often! Shaved so close CUTS on her. NEVER AGAIN.. Our Yorkiepoo had an appointment at 11:15 and wasn't ready to pickup until 2:50. 3 1/2 hours and it still wasn't cut the way we asked. We wanted it cut a lot shorter because of the heat and it was barely trimmed. His face is lobsided and very little was taken off of his paws. We think that he saw us and told us he was dry and going to do the finishing touches at 2:00 and it'll be about 45 minutes. A small dog does not take that much time especially since we had an appointment. We will not return to Petco. read more

Every time I walk into this store the employees are so friendly. The grooming services are also wonderful and have never let me down. They now sell taste of the wild dog food, so I will be a frequent customer here. The rewards points are so helpful when buying dog food all the time. Took my dogs in for grooming. They did a good job but they didn't do a saintary clean up on one of my dogs. I called and talked to the manager who was very understanding, he wanted to make it right. I brought my dog back in, the manager in grooming cleaned up my pup for me and I was reimbursed for his whole service. Be warned super exspensive and they upcharge without your knowledge. I spent close to $150 on three dog groomings. read more

Had our Standard Poodle groomed here yesterday. Cass did a fantastic job! Our pooch was a total mess when we took him in. We had adopted him a few weeks ago and wanted him to be comfortable with us before we took him in for grooming. I thought for sure he was going to have to be shaved clean. Cass said she'd see what she could do and we were delighted when we picked him up. He looked great and didn't seem bothered in the least. We'll be using Cass again! read more

Wow so I have been here twice now and tried to get help and it really seemed that the people there absolutely had no animal skill . I would think they would have been a little helpful but none what so ever.
