    Injury to Gracie's eye.

Reasons not to take your dog to Amanda for grooming at Stadium Grooming in Allen: 1. Dropped my two small dogs 17 pound shihtzu mixes off at 10:00 am and we're not ready until 4:30 2. They are kept in crates with no opportunity to use the bathroom. A downside of this business. 3. Amanda cut Gracie around her eye w clippers and it is raw and irritated. 4. Amanda did not tell me upfront that she inflicted damage and pain to Gracie's eye area. 5. No one at the register told me my dog was injured w clippers. 6. I called immediately when I got home and saw damage and left voicemail to call me. So far no one has. I want to know what happened and why I was not informed of injury. 7. Amanda should have told me face to face about the injury. 8. The dogs don't even smell clean.

Aaron and Aubrey did fantastic grooming on my maltipoo!! They take their time in their craft and make sure every little hair is cut to perfection. Quick turnaround time too. You can really tell that they enjoy their job and love those little doggos. Great people, great groomers. Love this place, recommended to everyone!

I've been taking Panda to Stadium for since I got him. We moved to McKinney and I tried another groomer, but he likes Lauren so much that we had to go back.

this is Troy after Stadium grooming worst schnauzer cut ever

I think its very unprofessional not to inform your customers that the groomer that groomed your dog doesn't work there any more and instead have someone else totally mutilate your dog and go against specific directives of what can be shaved and not shaved. This place is completely unprofessional and should not be in the business of grooming animals.

DO NOT USE THIS GROOMER. At 9:30 this morning I took Winston, my 4 year old poodle, to this groomer. At 4:00 I get a call that Winston was cut during his grooming and may need stitches. Instead of taking Winston directly to the vet, the groomer called my wife and asked if she would pick him up and take him, even though he was bleeding enough from his neck that he would need stitches. After we arrived at the vet and Winston was examined, he needed 7 stitches in his neck to fix the damage the groomer had done. On top of this when we were checking out at the vet the groomer asked us to pay the bill and then bring them the receipt for which we would be reimbursed. Even the vet thought this was a joke, they let us leave and forced the groomer to wait in the office till she got in touch with her boss for payment. So in conclusion, if you want your dog to have his neck sliced open, this is your place. If you would like a groom, maybe find somewhere besides this super classy establishment.

This is the first dog that we've ever owned a dog that has needed grooming. I was referred to Stadium by a friend. I explained that I wanted just a trim for my Goldendoodle and as you can see by the results below , they did a great job ! He smelled wonderful and looks adorable ! Nice staff and I definitely will be returning !

    Bloody paws. Not good.

Customers beware! Dropped my dog off 15 minutes after opening. They use a dryer kennel to dry your pet. When my dog got home, she drank an entire bowl full of water. She must've been left in the dryer kennel for a very long time. A 10-year-old dog doesn't need that. 4 1/2 hours later my dog was still not completely groomed. Got her home and realized they hadn't taken care of inner ear hair or any sanitary cut areas. After seeing her lick her paws, closer inspection the tops of her paws were bloody from the grooming. Will never go back to Stadium dog grooming!

They do a great job on our very wiggly Maltese. He loves the groomers at Stadium. And they are fairly priced, too!

**WARNING!!** Before You Trust The Mutt Puddle With Your Dog -- Read This First!!!…read more As a new customer, I recieved that red carpet treatment that makes you think you've finally found "the place." The lesson I learned this time is that the true character of a business isn't revealed when everything goes right. It's revealed when something goes wrong. My situation started with a grooming appointment. The Korean cut I requested wasn't what I received. However, that was not my biggest concern. A really bad grooming job grows back, and I could have easily laughed that off and moved on. What I couldn't overlook was that my tiny 5lb Maltese had a puncture wound (the size of a pencil tip eraser) under her chin and a belly covered in abrasions (guessing from hot clippers). When I got home and discovered the injuries, I emailed TMP immediately. I expected: concern for her well-being and a sincere effort to make things right. Instead, I got a lengthy email about "miscommunication" regarding the grooming. I got an apology. What I didn't get was the one thing I was looking for: genuine human concern for my injured dog. Accidents happen. A mistake and owning it does not automatically lose a customer. The solution was never complicated. A simple acknowledgment (regardless of how it happened). My tiny dog came home hurt and that mattered. A refund as a gesture of respect. Before writing this review, I posted this scenario online in a small dog group. I asked a few simple questions: Would you be upset by these injuries? Is "sorry for the miscommunication" enough? Should a refund be offered? Would you return? The majority of the people who responded to the survey are dog lovers, breeders, rescue shelter owners, show dog handlers, vets and professional groomers who unanimously agreed that they would be upset and that they would not return. Several professionals commented that while accidents can happen, transparency and accountability matter. One comment stood out above all the others: "When I read the salon's response, I don't see a groomer saying, 'I'm concerned about Tina.' I see a business saying, 'You can't prove this was us.'" That perfectly captured what I had been struggling to put into words for this review. David Vargas from TMP responded to that online post. Instead of empathy, there were disclaimers. Instead of a heartfelt attempt to make things right, there was a carefully crafted argument about why I shouldn't feel the way I do. He accused me of painting the business in a bad light. No. I simply described what happened and how it was handled. When your instinct is to defend your reputation instead of showing concern for an injured animal, the picture pretty much paints itself. This experience was extremely upsetting for my family, traumatic for our Tina, and I worry about her demeanor when I take her to a new groomer. She's such a tiny baby and to minimalize our situation has been heartbreaking. Our pets rely entirely on us to protect them and on the professionals caring for them to uphold the trust placed in their hands. For all animal lovers, that trust is sacred. One of the most concerning things I discovered after this experience was The Mutt Puddle's liability policy. Their policy (search for it online) states; that pet owners assume all responsibility when leaving their pets in the salon's care and that The Mutt Puddle and its staff will not be held responsible for injuries, deaths, medical bills, clipper burns, cuts, stress-related issues, or nearly any other problem that may arise during grooming. Reading this after my little girl was injured helped me understand why David Vargas response was defensive .. rather than showing (on a case by case basis) concern for my dog and respect for me as a valuable client. I understand that policies exist BUT they should protect everyone involved, not one sided AND they should never replace compassion, responsibility, and concern for an animal's well-being. New and existing customers should read their policies carefully and decide for themselves whether that reflects the kind of care they want for their pets. We've lost complete trust in The Mutt Puddle and will not go back. They have taught me the difference between customer service and reputation control. Good luck with that business model.

After waiting 6 weeks for my appointment to come, they asked the week of my appointment if it could be moved up from 1p.m. to 8:30 a.m. - sure thing I just moved my day around. My pup and I were excited to meet our new groomer, sadly didn't feel our groomer was too thrilled to meet us. We greeted her at our front door, groomer made a face at my dog barking and her first words were, "what are we doing with this one"....not a single greeting or cared to ask my dog's name. The groomer continued being condescending, I had to stop her and tell her, "it seems like you are having a bad day and you don't have to groom my dog, we can cancel". She quickly changed her attitude. What a disappointing first experience! My dog was able to get groomed. The cut was actually great. Definitely higher end of price point for a 10lb Maltipoo - $170 with tip. If you choose to book them, don't expect Shannon to express any joy when coming to pick up your pup. Over the last couple years. The service has gone downhill here. They are constantly getting new groomers and you don't have a consistent experience. At the time you get somebody who doesn't know what they're doing and the other half of the time it looks great but it's just not consistent. Now I went and visited with the owner there and got up charged for silly things that I've never been charged before before despite going there every month for probably five years. Myself and many other customers are looking for a new place to go. You probably should too.

I'm very disappointed with the service and communication at Lucky Dog Grooming. This is the second…read moretime I've had a 7:00 AM appointment, and both times I was misled by the manager. On this occasion, I was told the delay was due to flooding and traffic, but it was only light rain--and it quickly became clear these were just excuses. When a groomer finally arrived at 8:00 AM, I asked if they were scheduled for 7 or 8, and they told me they always start at 8. So why was I booked for 7 AM? To make matters worse, when I asked if my dog would be taken next, the manager initially said yes, but after a conversation between the groomers, she changed her story and claimed they had 8 AM appointments ahead of mine--even though my appointment was at 7 AM. It was frustrating and confusing. I had to request to the customer directly if it was ok if my 7am appointment could go first. There was also a dog in a crate in the back crying for over an hour--yet another example of poor care and lack of consideration. As I waited I saw 4 more dogs get dropped off all for appointments that already had multiple dogs waiting for the two groomers. Honesty and communication are essential in any business, but especially one where people are trusting you with their pets. The manager not only gave misleading information but also consistently fails to respond to messages or communicate clearly--except when it comes to offering excuses that aren't true. I won't be returning.
