    Petco Decatur ruined my dog's Christmas! I took my dog to Petco Decatur to get grooming for Christmas photo. They said a specialist would do a great job. Totally the opposite. Instead of Christmas, he gave me Halloween Horror! The trauma took a year to try them again and spoke to the manager Jamie, she would not honor what I was promised by the previous manager. Jamie said I would not take my dog to Petco Decatur for doing such a bad job! That's the manager for you! Horrible and should not work at Petco if she doesn't understand how it feels to be a pet owner.

    Jesus was awesome. So kind, patient, and helpful from start to finish. He treated my fur babies with such care, like they were his own. He took his time, didn't rush anything, and made sure everything was done right. He even printed out the vet records for all six of them and offered to email them too, which was a huge help. I'm in the middle of moving, so life's been a bit hectic, but Jesus made this part completely stress free. He truly went above and beyond, and I'm so grateful for him.

    This location is the closest to Skye Canyon area with a doctor. The Tropical site is temporarily non-operational due to a lack of on-site medical staff. Nevertheless, today was remarkable, with check-in 30 minutes prior and instant attendance. The staff displayed unwavering professionalism, warmth and compassion toward my pet.

    Mike and Najee are my go to however everyone here is AMAZING! Mike does an excellent job grooming our baby every time and sometimes Najee does her baths . I am extremely picky about where I take her and who I let groom her but these two young men & honestly the whole grooming department here are seriously outstanding ! I've been coming here for over a year and every time I've been so impressed ! Also please make sure to tip, grooming is VERY HARD WORK , imagine doing that all day long. They all deserve the best

    DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE TO BE GROOMED!!! This place is not doodle or pet friendly. Please, go to a professional instead for grooming services. Our Goldendoodle received a double ear infection after receiving treatment from this location on 09/19/21. The following morning, we noticed that Maggie was lying in a corner and was visibly irritated. After we checked her ears we saw caked gunk and liquid leaking out. During check-in we prefaced that she was prone to ear infections and they guaranteed that precautions would be taken yet the inside of her ear was extremely wet. After a trip to the animal hospital where she had to be sedated and is now on antibiotics plus a $600 vet bill after a $200 grooming service. Absolutely unacceptable. Please take better precautions or don't advertise yourselves as making "pet health and wellbeing a top priority," as listed on your website.

    Wow!! This Petco location is quite amazing! My daughter and I were in the area, so we decided to check it out! The Petco location is located off of the 215/Decatur. There is a lot spacious parking available at this location. Inside the Petco, there is plenty for toys, food, and care available. There is also a grooming salon located inside. The store was well-kept and clean. Inventory was fully stocked. The staff was friendly and asked if we needed any assistance, we kindly replied. We ended up picking out a cat toy and a few food selections, specifically the Royal Canin cat cans.

    Dirty tubs, no towels, rude staff -- Petco Decatur self dog wash is a total mess. The experience was a complete waste of money.

I was then promised a follow-up appointment on Friday, but nobody showed up, and no notice or communication was provided while I waited and wasted my time. After requesting a refund for services not rendered, I was told refunds were not available despite the fact that the agreed services were never completed. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, the company continued delaying the matter while mentioning attorneys and potential legal action, which felt unnecessary and intimidating rather than customer-focused. I simply expected the services I paid for or a fair resolution. Based on my experience, communication, professionalism, and follow-through were extremely disappointing.

Justin was supposed to train our dogs from what he told my husband. They both came by & seemed professional until they WERE NOT. I knew after the 1st training visit that something wasn't right. Red flags immediately. First of all we were lied to from the beginning. He sent his girlfriend inside that was supposed to be training instead for some reason & Justin sat in his truck the entire time every single time they came by. I mentioned our concern to him & said we wanted to try him & did not want Lilly in a respectful way of course. I said we were not getting what my husband & I were promised which was Justin & was not happy with Lilly. He brushed it off again & never trained our dogs ever. It made no sense. The 1st visit down to the 5th visit was so bad & it's where we both said we would rather eat the money then ever let them around our dogs or in our house again. Lilly came in all 5 times & did the same exact thing everytime & left after 20 to 30mins. It was supposed to be 45min to an hour training session each. She would put a leash on them and an e-collar and zap the crap out of my dog until he was screaming & then give him a treat. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I told them what they needed training on. She was trying to walk them on a leash when they already knew how every single time & never changed anything up. Why would you train my dogs on something they already know how to do every time?? We didn't need amateur training. We paid $1950 for absolutely nothing. If you run a professional business & your clients are not happy with your service then anyone professional would work out something fair to make the client happy. They definitely were not fair, took our money & ran with it. They made their page look legit as possible. It was our mistake for not researching reviews on other sites. Most of their texts back to us were chatgbt messages. There is no way they have any positive reviews. I would say they're probably bots, their friends helping their reviews out & probably fake accounts they made up to give themselves good reviews. You can tell how many review accounts are fake & with the same exact review over & over. Also we had to pay them through zelle & used a docusign app that we have never used before. After a month "someone" tried to get $450 more out of our account. My bank is still looking into that at the moment & of course will not tell us anything about it but we have a red flag by our name now so they can not get anything else from us. These horrible people took advantage of my husband, me & my 2 dogs. They do not care about your dogs. They want your money upfront & then from then on out everything was terrible down to returning text in time, canceling on us constantly & when they did show up it was cut super short & it was a complete joke. A very bad & expensive joke. So unprofessional!! I just want to get the word out there about this horrible business & 2 scammers. If you do decide to use them, you may want to pay by each training session if possible, then you will see how bad it is. On there page scroll down to there certificates. They are certified for CPR & health aide. Also certified for dog walking & boarding. We couldn't find 1 thing on them for certified dog training in Clark County. Wish we would've seen that before. That's how they are allegedly getting people's money & not knowing how to train. The fact they would not let us pay by sessions should tell you everything especially after so many bad reviews on other sites. All the other review sites have the bad reviews. Don't go by reviews on Cactus K9 Training website. Those can't be trusted. Remember anyone can make up a business page & exaggerate their skills. We ended up asking for something back because we could not continue the horrible training with them. Wasn't worth a dime. We got got for sure! We told them we were not happy with the training & we did not want to complete their course. We got half way through & they didn't learn 1 thing. They did not care of course & said they could not give any money at all back because of their contract. Shocker!! Lol... If you have your own business, you can do whatever you want to make things right contract or not. Only scammers would say & do something like that. Do your research people before giving these people any money. You will thank us, trust me!!

Before working with Travis, I wasn't sure how quickly a puppy could learn, but the results speak for themselves. Benjamin listens, follows commands, and carries himself like a much older, well-trained dog. We get compliments on him all the time when we're out, and it's all thanks to the structure and training Travis provided. What I really appreciated was how clear and effective Travis was--not just training Benjamin, but also helping me understand how to reinforce everything at home. It made a huge difference. If you're looking for a trainer who actually delivers real results, I highly recommend Travis. Benjamin is proof of that.

He came to my home for a one-on-one session with Metzi and me, taking the time to explain everything clearly and give me practical tips for continuing her training on my own. He spent over an hour with us and never made me feel rushed. His patience and approach made a huge difference, and by the time he left, Metzi already had a solid foundation for me to build on. What really stands out is that Travis continues to check in regularly to make sure I'm staying on track and to answer any questions or concerns I have. That level of support means a lot. He's definitely one of the best trainers in the Las Vegas Valley, and I highly recommend him.

Today, our appointment was canceled with roughly 15 minutes notice -- which of course we didn't even receive because we were already driving to the appointment when they called. This comes after our previous appointment where we sat waiting nearly 25 minutes past our scheduled time just to get our dog checked in. What's especially frustrating is that this business is extremely strict about requiring rabies vaccination records for new clients -- which is completely understandable and responsible -- yet somehow they don't actually keep those records on file afterward. So now that we're going elsewhere, they can't even provide us a copy of the records we already submitted. At this point, it just feels incredibly disorganized from a management/ownership standpoint. Two appointments in a row have either been significantly delayed or outright canceled, and there doesn't seem to be much regard for customers' time or convenience. Thankfully, there are plenty of groomers to choose from, so this really isn't the end of the world. It's just an odd way to run a business if the goal is to attract and retain loyal customers.
