I was so excited to visit Petco as I have been anticipating its opening! The store front seemed rather large from the outside so I was surprised to only see one cashier and two employees working on a Sunday afternoon. I came in to get a name tag and to browse Sassy Woof harnesses. I went to look for an employee on the floor and had to walk the entire floor to find both employees in the Employee Only room. I was told whatever name tags were out front was it. There was no offer to help and I wasn't even asked if I needed help with anything else. They carry the Sassy Woof harnesses online but not in store. I wanted to see which size would fit my dog so I had purposely gone to the store. The cashier was nice and friendly. He gave me instructions on how to get the engraving after I had purchased the name tag. You type in the code from your receipt and follow the instructions on the screen.

Petco in Plainview is now open.in short , what you see is what they have. Want more go to Petco.com. Went to back saw small display that noted "at least 75% off. Nor that is Not Upto 75% off. I pull 2 toys. Original is 8.50 tag is 4.25. I take it with my other items to register and note this to cashier. He says people throw things in there and it's up to. I find manager (for the point in fact) I get the 2 for 75% off along with no sale prices on my usual items. ( I did not have them check prices against internet - they are supposed to give lowest prices) I carried the bags out and left.

The Vetco Clinic here isn't friendly. Staff is super condescending and rude (especially Dr. Jaclyn). Won't be taking my pup here anymore

Over 4 years, the boxes they installed failed 3-4 times, and while that may not be their fault, and they all failed under warranty, they charge you $30 or $50 (I can't remember which) for "shipping", "processing"...who the hell knows what, but it's each time you need to replace. When you press them on this their answer is rather flimsy on what this is for...and if the product fails that many times, clearly there is a problem with the product. That was the BETTER of my experiences- when my wire broke in multiple places, which I'm sure was punctured by my landscaper aerating (of course one would argue why was the wire was buried so shallow?), Fidos came out to repair. After confusion on what the $150 service fee was for (turns out it was just to show up at my house), and $400 later, they left the wire exposed in multiple places and didn't use waterproof splices, just twisted the wire and left it. The woman at Fidos spoke to the tech and they swear up and down they would never do this and blamed my landscaper. I'm not sure why my landscaper would dig up a wire, but OK, let's say he dug it up and HE is the one who spliced it within the 2 months Fidos had fixed it (in the exact same place the tech told me one of the breaks was!!). But I CAN say with absolute certainly that when the tech was looking for the breaks, he dug up multiple wires (the dog fence, cable, etc) and left them exposed. I 100% saw them when he left and pushed them back under myself. SO if he left these exposed, is it a stretch to think he left the others exposed that I didn't notice at the time? If you work with these guys enough times, you'll start to feel the shadiness...it's inevitable. Good luck.

She cares so much for animals and the way they are treated and trained. She focuses on positive reinforcement and is thoughtful in how she responds and interacts with dogs. She helped us counteract some of our puppies negative behaviors with replacing them with more acceptable behaviors. Both of our Labradoodles have also stayed with Melanie for Board and Train (multiple times). Each time our pups returned they were calm and ready to show off their new skills (like staying on their beds during meal times). She also sent us photos and videos to show us the progress they made while we were away. We just love the positive influence Melanie has had on our pups. We also have 2 children and Melanie worked with both of them to teach them training techniques they could use with our dogs. We have recommend several friends to Melanie who have also had great experiences with her training their dogs as well. We highly recommend Melanie and Wagmore dog training!

Melanie is amazing. My pitbull had some PTSD resulting from a traumatic experience he'd experienced…read moreon a plane trip a few years back. After seeing him a few times the Vet recommended a strong treatment of prozac to help alleviate his symptoms. However, before going the chemical route I wanted to try solving his symptoms in a more holistic manner. After a few renowned trainers told me he was a lost cause, trainers who probably build their reputation based on the easiest of cases, Melanie Bennet entered the picture. We had a consultation and Melanie was compassionate with my dog and helped me understand his mindset as well as a training regimen that could help him improve. She was very realistic in managing my expectations and helped me understand what was achievable in the training and what would be a stretch. I enrolled my dog in a 4-week training bootcamp where Melanie focused on teaching my dog relaxation techniques. Some things I observed after my first visit is that he would lay down a lot, I thought he was tired or scared but then learned Melanie trained him to do that whenever he was overly aroused. Similarly he would stop moving his tail to calm himself down. Throughout successive visits I observed how my dog was more composed and relaxed. He was also paying more attention to me so he could follow my lead. After the first three weeks he had been able to learn to calm himself down enough to reinforce the basics and learn a few cute tricks. He learned how to walk on a gentle leader and how to spin and touch a cone on command. When he came back home people could not believe what they were seeing. I no longer had to hide my dog in my bedroom whenever I had visitors in an attempt to shield them from my dog's anxiety. As long as the visitors knew the ground rules to avoid arousing my dog too much, we had a perfect interaction, something that would have been impossible before. Furthermore, the training did not end there. Melanie provided extensive documentation on what I could do to reinforce and continue his training, which was very useful for me as I did not know how to avoid undoing all of Melanie's fantastic work. Overall, I highly recommend Melanie to any person who wants to have their dog properly trained, especially is that dog needs special attention. Melanie is a professional of the highest level of loves her job and is dedicated to the welfare of the dogs she trains. In the 8 years I've had my dog, and the countless trainers that have tried to help him, I had never met anyone like her. She has my full trust when it comes to my dog.

I tell our trainers Katie and Nicole all of the time that they are life savers. We brought our puppy here at 1 years old - a small wild, energetic Jack Russell who knew every time I was on a video meeting to bark his head off and embarrass me EVERY TIME! Walks were out of the question since he would pull on the leash to the point he would choke himself... sitting on the deck was a nightmare in our own backyard because he would bark at the wind (yes, the wind), the leaves moving, the birds and obviously the neighbors. Does this sound familiar? I questioned my decision of getting a puppy and then I found Max K9. We did a 3 week Board & Train where I was super hesitant of dropping him off (because no one wants to leave their baby anywhere), but they were so good with sending video progress and pictures and including my husband and I in the process. I joke with everyone that I think they implanted a program into his brain! Lol! The transformation was unreal. We were instantly able to communicate with him and actually go on a walk.. outside in the real world. What a breath of fresh air, literally! Max K9 has given us the ability to live an active lifestyle and have our pup enjoy it with us. Hikes, traveling, morning walks, trips to the store, brewery visits, long car rides out of state... you name it. I would do it all over again if I had to without a question. So if you've made it this far, thanks for reading. I hope this helps you make your decision to having a better relationship with your pup and enjoying life with them every step of the way.

We were having trouble trying to help him adjust from living in the south on a large property to living in a one bedroom apartment with cats and a smaller back yard. Our last session Keiko even decided he was going to try one of the obstacles from maximum K9's agility course (no prompting from us) shocking both me and my fiancé. Safe to say Keiko loves Maximum K9 as much as we do . Since our training we have been able to do so much more and get Keiko better involved in our activities (which we know he loves). They also have so many great treats, toys, and training tools for those at varying levels in their store portion.
