The bagels were fresh and flavorful, and you can tell they're made with quality ingredients. The flavors were solid and satisfying, making it a nice spot for a quick breakfast or snack. The only downside was that the space felt a bit small for a weekend in Tampa, and it got pretty crowded, which made seating a little tight.

Updating my review to add additional bagel pics! Still some of my favorite bagels in Tampa, I love every time we get bagels here! Perfect consistency and flavors. I don't typically like asiago bagels, but I LOVE Pete's asiago bagels! Definitely give them a go, you won't be disappointed.

Bagels are really good & customizable which I love. Atmosphere is cute & laid back. You may even be greeted by a couple chickens & roosters.

Great location in Ybor right next to a dog park and on Saturday there was a fun market out back! My daughter wanted to try their bagels! I loved that hers was balanced and not overly sweet and mine was delicious but you have to love pickles as they were a bit overwhelming. Bagels had good texture bit I wish salt vagel actually had more salt on it! Service was quick and loved all the outside seating!

Hopping and popping! This place is bright and banging on weekday mornings! It's hard to be vibrant at 8am on a Tuesday, but Pete's is! Located on the south side of Ybor, in what looks to be a restored/repurposed two story home, it has quaint wooden steps and a wrap-around porch, with tables on the side. Inside, there are several two-seater bench seats/chair combo tables and one four-seater round table. There's tons of natural light from all the big windows-so it's super cheerful inside, on a sunny day. And the steady stream of customers-who also seemed super cheerful on both visits-make it feel very friendly and welcoming. Now, the joint is jumping-so it's best if you know what you want. There's really no room to pull over and study the menu. I kept it simple and ordered a salt bagel both times. I preferred the double toasting, which I did the first time-it comes out crispier. I also preferred the seasonal tea I had the first time, to the chai tea I had the second time. But, those are just my goofs (kind of like my bad parallel parking job, out front. Sorry curb---and rims!) I'll do better on ordering (and parking) next time. Speaking of parking, there are some spots on the street out front and you can pay through a parking app-or there's a small lot around the corner with a pay-by-plate kiosk. Follow the Ybor roosters-they know the way.

Pete's Ybor has been on my Tampa Bay bucket list for quite some time and it didn't disappoint! This shop is seriously SO cute. Such a lovely space to meet up with friends or study at. I love how they have a spacious outdoor area as well. You do have to pay for street parking unfortunately. I ordered the Sunny Pete on a garlic and onion bagel. Simply delicious! I loved the sun-dried tomato and feta flavor of the cream cheese. All the ingredients were super fresh and light. A simple, but yummy bagel. I'll definitely be back to try the Original Pete next time.

Had an AMAZING iced vanilla latte! Also the banana muffin was delicious. The baristas were so chic and cool and super friendly. I can't wait to come back with friends!

I absolutely love Pete's Bagels! I've been coming here for a few months now and every time it hits the spot. Parking is easily accessible right out front and does not cost anything. They have a great indoor and outdoor seating selection. Great for after church gatherings and meeting friends! I got a bunch of assorted bagels and pastry items for the week. I typically will freeze the bagels if I know I'm going on vacation and they hold up really well even after being frozen. My favorite bagel by far is their onion bagel with cream cheese like wow! It's so delicious! They are always freshly made and by far the best Bagel spot Ybor has to offer.

Really great bagels. We visited on a Sunday morning around 9 am and waited about 30-40 minutes total (line, ordering, getting our food). I think the wait was worth it (we really wanted to try this place on our visit). Everyone enjoyed what they ordered.

Pete's is solid! They have amazing portions and great options. The only thing I don't like is that the staff always seem not friendly and the menu has been the same for a long time. It's a great spot to take your pals, they have most seating outdoors but indoor seating as well. You have to pay to park! No gluten free options but they do have vegan options :)

Saved this bag of bagels from Too Go To Go app! Bag was $6.38. I love the vibe of the shop but since I was picking up after store hours, I didn't get to stay and look too long. The bagels are heavy, dense, and very aromatic. I could tell when they handed me the bag. I am very happy with the quality of the bagels. They are very flavorful. I was given a great variety of bagels to try and even a bakery item. This place was very cool and I would absolutely go back to try the bagel sandwiches.

Awesome bagels at Petes! They have an extensive menu of bagel sandwiches and schmears! I did a customer asiago bagel with jalapeno cream cheese, bacon, tomato and arugula. The bacon was cooked soft, had it been crispy I think that would have made it so much better! The coffees were great as well, I would stop in just for coffee. Keep in mind they do get really busy, we waited a full hour. About 40 minutes in line and another 20 for the bagels. Would come back to Petes soon!!

This cozy little shop is located in Carrollwood Village... a huge housing development, that somehow-innearly 36 years of living here-I had never been to until now. But missing a turn, led to some exploring and then, some bageling! New York Bagel and Bean is in a plaza at the corner of South Village and West Village. The joint was jumping when I was there at 11am on a Wednesday. It was difficult to find a parking spot, but so worth it. The shop is very homey and welcoming-with several tables and homespun decor. The owner (or manager) was very friendly and helpful. I felt truly appreciated. I felt bad I was only ordering one bagel. It was big and the perfect texture. And then... came the honey butter. Honey butter, people! It's happening! This was not a drill! It was delicious! Decadent, yes-but the perfect accompaniment. I may be in love! Should I move to Carrollwood Village just to be closer? Maybe!!! I'lll report back!

They are super busy but the ambiance is super chill lending it self to have conversations. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwich is perfection. As a New Yorker I'm a pretty hard critic on BEC bagels but trust me this is delicious. The bagel has just the right crunch on the outside but perfect on the inside and they do no cheat you on the bacon. Glad to say I actually got a photo this time before devouring my meal.

The only downside honestly is the service. I had to explain multiple times how I wanted the sandwich made with the toppings side by side and the person taking the order just wasn't really understanding what I was asking for. Even after explaining it again, it still wasn't clicking, which was frustrating. I've noticed this pretty much every time we come here. The staff never really seems approachable or friendly and the customer service could definitely improve, especially when tips are being requested. A smile and better communication would honestly make such a huge difference because the food is genuinely great. We also tried the matcha latte for the first time, and unfortunately it wasn't good at all. Maybe it's new, but it definitely needs some improvement. Overall, we still love coming here because the food keeps us coming back, but the service has consistently been lacking. Realistically the service is probably a 3, but because we love the place and the food so much, I'll still give it a 4.

If you look at my reviews I haven't been the nicest to bagel shops around these parts. Going into Hyde park I didn't think they would be the saviors for the genre but they have gone and done it. A smash and grab operation. Swept me off my feet with an Asiago bagel with Ruben fillings (yeah they toasted it and applied all toppings themselves. Even cut it...other shops, take note) But yeah an odd order but it worked out so well. I loved it. Also tried a regular everything bagel and it did everything it needed to do. Hit all aspects of what a bagel needs to be and delivered. (Not pictured) Now you may see the photo of a purple bagel with blue cream cheese...did I order this, absolutely not. Did it kinda hit...yes...yes it did. Heres the deal chat, I will try weird things but I do need to also try to basics, like an everything bagel to really gauge things. This spot ripped. Prices are good too, 11 bones for a Ruben bagel. Yeah yeah I'll take that. A fun suprise and a location that will see me more often trying new things. Shoutout you all for making bagels that are actually bagels not gimmicks.

I did appreciate that the sandwich was cut in half because it is quite large. The amount of bacon and cheese and tomato and lettuce topped with che cheese on the sandwich were plentiful. There's also a free water station set up for the guest use. The bagel seemed very fresh.

When I want something light for breakfast, my go-to is the Everything but the Bagel yogurt bowl (house cured wild caught salmon, cucumber, pickled red onion, tomato, crispy capers, & everything seasoning). It's such a fresh gorgeous bowl, packed with protein. I also love their extra thick cut bacon on the side. My sis got the strapatsada which is a breakfast classic on their menu (greek scramble with caramelized onion, roasted cherry tomato, creamy feta, & grilled baguette). It's a very generous portion and she had a good amount leftover to take home. Of course, you can't leave without a few pastries for the road! They are a bakery-first concept and all of their breads and baked goods are made in-house. We got the baklava coffee cake and brioche bread pudding muffin to-go. Psomi never disappoints!
