    Gourmet bagels

Stopped in just before closing on a Saturday afternoon. Store had plenty of bagels, baked goods, and cream cheese. My niece brought us bagels and cream cheese from here, so we decided to check the place out. We purchased several flavors of bagels. They also have many flavors of cream cheese, such as peanut butter, cannoli, scallion, strawberry and cranberry walnut. They have basic bagels such as everything, onion, egg, sesame, plain, blueberry etc. There are also unique flavors such as french toast, cheetos, chocolate chip, oreo and several cereal flavors. All the bagels we tried were very good. The cream cheese flavors did not disappoint. They make some delicious looking muffins which I will try next visit. Parking is difficult because of the location. Bring someone to wait in the car, or walk.

For whatever reason, I was not impressed with this place. It was a little bit overwhelming, and the attendance at the register seemed a little bit impatient with all the questions. By the time I went, they were out of a couple of bagels that I went there for. However, if bagels are your thing, there are so many options, including great sandwiches even some that are not on bagels. The restaurant was small but very clean with lots of outdoor seating. I ordered the blueberry French toast bagel. I asked for light cream cheese and the cream cheese was so thick on my bagel that I had to wipe half of it off. I also ordered the bourbon coffee, which was just OK... I don't think I would go back but if I did, it would only be to try a lunch sandwich.

We discovered the Bagel Nook near our hotel during a recent visit to Tampa. We went here for breakfast twice during our stay. They offer an interesting collection of bagels and a variety of breakfast and lunch choices. I just had a toasted berry bagel with berry-flavored cream cheese. The bagels were good and served with a generous amount of fluffy cream cheese. The service was good. The store is small with no seating. However, there were several common tables outside. I enjoyed my bagels.

The bagels were fantastic and I can't wait to go back for more. Unfortunately the wait is forever for lunch and the parking isn't the perfect situation but I'll do about anything for a good sandwich on an amazing bagel.

I done died and went to bagel heaven! I'd seen this place and their cool looking bagels all over social media so when my baby told me she wanted bagels for breakfast on her 4th birthday i knew this was the spot! I went with my family of 6. It was PACKED for a Monday morning I figured we'd go after the morning rush before work but it seems like this place is booming on the regular! They have menus on the wall but there's also paper menus by the door as you walk in for you to check out as you wait in line. There were so many options i found myself feeling overwhelmed but i ended up narrowing it down to the big B Asiago with scallion bacon cream cheese. I got a little wild and added bacon to my bagel too. The bagel was bombbbb definitely not your average Asiago bagel. And the cream cheese was bussin!!! Now to add bacon on it was a bit much lol the bacon itself was bomb but maybe not all together with the bacon scallion lol i got a little too excited They had fun tie dye bagels with birthday cream cheese spread for the birthday girl which was delicious!! My other baby ordered the Oreo bagel with Oreo cream cheese. My two oldest got the Cookie Monster overload and the cannoli bagel w/oreo spread and my husband got the turkey club on white bread instead of a bagel. I must say i was surprised they had so many other menu items that wasn't bagels! They have pancakes, sandwiches, salads, so much to choose from! The ambiance was cool. I'm glad there were tables outside for us to sit! The girls loved that it was across the street from the Straz. The wait was long but i definitely understand the hype around this place. So glad we finally went to check it out! Plenty of parking near by. We parked on the street right in front but there's also a garage nearby.

On my way home from the airport, I stopped at The Bagel Nook for a bagel and coffee. I found parking around the corner from the shop. For the menu, I got an Everything Bagel with Jalapeno Cheddar and Iced Coffee. My order was ready in 5-7 minutes. The bagel with jalapeno cheddar and iced coffee was amazing! The combination was perfect, and it was a great way to start my day.

Ok, Let me introduce you to your new obsession: The Bagel Nook First of all, this is not your average "grab a plain bagel and go" situation. Oh no. This is a full-blown bagel experience. We're talking rainbow bagels. Over-the-top cream cheese creations as well as some of their bagels ! An everything bagel is a favorite and it's heavenly seasoned. We tried the fruity pebble bagel with plain CC, Cinnamon Toast Crunch with maple CC, and a French toast bagel with sweet cream CC. Everything hands down was a close tie to the French toast bagel. Both our favorites. Oh, and we did also get a pistachio muffin = The fruity pebble was good but the Cinnamon Toast Crunch with maple CC was too sweet. We went back the second day for bagels and brought 1/2 dozen home too! The only thing I would suggest is asking for double toasted. This place gets BUSY! A line out the door, seriously. So in the chaos, I think they don't really toast the bagels all that much unless you ask for double toasted. But everything we had was good x2!

Every-time I pass by this place the line is out the door so I had to try it. The line moves pretty quick but also gives you enough time to figure out what you want because the menu is massive. There is endless options to choose from. What I ordered: Plain bagel with fruity pebble cream cheese 3/5... didn't really get the fruity pebble flavor Cinnamon sugar bagel 4/5 Asiago bagel with plain cream cheese 5/5 As I was looking at their different spreads and bagels on display, I did notice that there were gnats, bugs flying around and on the bagels which kind of grossed me out. I know they keep the doors open because the line is out the door but having these bagels out in the open may not be a good idea.

    Jenn D.

Ohh bagel!! Excellent bagels! The bagel flavors were out of this world. Flaming Cheetos, Oreo, Cocoa Puffs, and many more. As a Jersey Girl I was also happy to see they had Pork Roll sandwiches. And it was yummy! The line was out the door, so be prepared to wait. They do a decent job of getting the food out, but standing and waiting is a little awkward and you feel in the way. The coffee was just ok, a little weak for my taste. And boy oh boy was it HOT ! There is some seating right out front of the location. There is also seating across the street near the theatre.

Tried the bagel nook for the first time and I do have to say that it's worth the hype. I've seen this bagel place all over TikTok and finally got around the time to going downtown to get some. The bagels are pretty big for a bagel and also very filling. I love how the Cap'n Crunch bagel wasn't too sweet but just right. We went ahead and paired it with the fruity pebble cream cheese to keep the cereal theme going. The line was surprisingly fast, considering the hype and business of the place. We got our order very quickly and was able to go in and out. The location had outside seating but was unfortunately full so we ended up taking our bagels to go. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and surprised me on how good their bagels really are.

This is my 3rd NEW bagel shop tryout...they seem to be coming out of the woodwork, after not having any decent bagel shops for YEARS! So I'm happy they are here, but I'm not sure who my favorite is yet. I am torn between just trendy (line out the door) to a real winner for OPTIONS! It has SO MANY OPTIONS! This is what sets this place apart from the other new bagel shops. I really should have tried one of the super special fun flavored bagels with one of the 34 (NOT KIDDING) different cream cheeses available! That doesn't even include the salad toppings you could get.... Instead, I got a simple BLT egg bagel, toasted (although hardly)... it was ok. I'm knocking off another star because the kid behind the register could not understand that I don't like mayo and would have rather had plain butter instead but seemed to 'have' to charge me for that because I was adding butter... In fact, I was not adding, rather NO MAYO...butter instead. That seemed to be too much for him to handle. I think I may come back, it's right across from the Straz, which is convenient if you're going to a matinee, seems like a good option for a quick bite you can walk to easily. No inside seating, only a few tables outside. Mostly a grab and go. Pro Tip: order online and pick up if you're just going to take it out anyway, avoid the line during peak times.

Being from NY it's hard to find good bagels in Tampa . Bagel nook brings me back home . Delicious bagels and cream cheese spreads. Bec on a toasted egg every thing bagel with salt ,pepper and ketchup if u know you know . We also the double nooker which is pork roll and bacon egg and cheese on a bagel and we decided to try the pretzel bagel that was just freakin Amazing. I love they have different flavors of hot and cold coffee .The entire was just awesome and so helpful and the place is very clean and organized .if you're looking for good bagels and breakfast sandwiches this is the place. Will definitely be back to try some of the lunch sandwiches they have and the French toast and pancakes looked good too. I will be back

Fruity Pebbles Bagel, Toasted w/ Vanilla Butter
    Taylor H.

This place has fun and tasty bagels with insane flavour combinations! I'm going to need multiple visits to keep trying things that caught my eye. There is a plethora of cream cheese flavours. As someone who isn't a cream cheese fan, I appreciated that they also had several different flavours of butter. The vanilla butter is awesome and completed the fruity pebbles bagel is such a sweet way. The staff was very friendly. The shop was busy the whole time we were there. Expect a bit of a wait but absolutley manageable.

    Fun butters !!!

This cozy little shop is located in Carrollwood Village... a huge housing development, that somehow-innearly 36 years of living here-I had never been to until now. But missing a turn, led to some exploring and then, some bageling! New York Bagel and Bean is in a plaza at the corner of South Village and West Village. The joint was jumping when I was there at 11am on a Wednesday. It was difficult to find a parking spot, but so worth it. The shop is very homey and welcoming-with several tables and homespun decor. The owner (or manager) was very friendly and helpful. I felt truly appreciated. I felt bad I was only ordering one bagel. It was big and the perfect texture. And then... came the honey butter. Honey butter, people! It's happening! This was not a drill! It was delicious! Decadent, yes-but the perfect accompaniment. I may be in love! Should I move to Carrollwood Village just to be closer? There is a dog park attached to the patio so even if you don't bring your pup with you, there is plenty of cutie pie entertainment while you eat. Even after explaining it again, it still wasn't clicking, which was frustrating. I've noticed this pretty much every time we come here. The staff never really seems approachable or friendly and the customer service could definitely improve, especially when tips are being requested. A smile and better communication would honestly make such a huge difference because the food is genuinely great. We also tried the matcha latte for the first time, and unfortunately it wasn't good at all. Maybe it's new, but it definitely needs some improvement. I most recently took my sister here for the first time while we were visiting for a concert and she loved it, too! We started with iced baklava lattes and the greek donuts (loukoumades) drizzled with honey and this was actually my first time have these here. They're served hot and fresh -- absolutely delicious! When I want something light for breakfast, my go-to is the Everything but the Bagel yogurt bowl (house cured wild caught salmon, cucumber, pickled red onion, tomato, crispy capers, & everything seasoning). It's such a fresh gorgeous bowl, packed with protein. I also love their extra thick cut bacon on the side. My sis got the strapatsada which is a breakfast classic on their menu (greek scramble with caramelized onion, roasted cherry tomato, creamy feta, & grilled baguette). It's a very generous portion and she had a good amount leftover to take home. Of course, you can't leave without a few pastries for the road! They are a bakery-first concept and all of their breads and baked goods are made in-house. We got the baklava coffee cake and brioche bread pudding muffin to-go. Psomi never disappoints!

I ordered the shredded chicken salad, and to be fair, the chicken was absolutely delicious. My issue was that it was served over a basic mixed greens salad with very few extras, and paying around $30 for it felt excessive. The loukoumades (Greek donuts) were also delicious, but again, the portion was surprisingly small for about $16. One thing that also frustrates me is that they seem to be out of many of their bakery items first thing in the morning. They do warn customers about this, but it seems to happen consistently, which is disappointing when you're visiting a bakery and hoping for the full selection. The outdoor seating also wasn't the most enjoyable. It was quite loud, the seating wasn't especially comfortable, and there were a lot of flies, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy the meal. Overall, the food tasted good, but the value just isn't there for me. I don't mind paying premium prices when the portions, experience, or atmosphere justify it, but I left feeling like I paid far more than what I received.
