However, things were different. He spent a lot of time with me, examining my teeth and jaw to see what he could and could not do. And he didn't just tell me what he couldn't do, he explained why. Many factors can affect the desired outcome, such as age, jaw misalignment, or conditions that require surgery, and Dr. Brenn explained this to me from the start. Sadly I had a horrible experience at this doctor. I came in December of 2024 after a traumatic accident had broken a tooth and my fixed retainer behind my top teeth. I had the fixed retainer for over 15 years without an issue after getting orthodontic treatment as a teen in France. While my tooth got fixed, and the inside of my mouth healed after the accident, my top teeth moved. I had an initial consult with Dr Brenn and I made it very clear that I wanted another permanent retainer like the one I had. They told me no problem. During my consult they also said they would angle my teeth down. After returning home, I emailed them that this was a concern to me, because I didn't want to bite down on my retainer. They called me and reassured me that there would be no problem. During my treatment which laster over a year (much longer than originally planned), I repeatedly reminded them that I wanted the fixed retainer. I also told them that I was experiencing a LOT of jaw pain, which was dismissed as "you must be clenching". When my treatment was finally over, they said there would be no room for the permanent retainer, that I would bite down on it. I reminded them of their initial promise and my old email, and they reluctantly said that they would try, but I should probably go somewhere else. I did go somewhere else and got a permanent Memotain retainer installed. While getting scanned at this other doctor, I finally realized that the jaw pain I was experiencing was due to the way Dr Brenn ALTERED MY BITE! They changed my bite by angling my top teeth down so my bottom teeth hit my top teeth in two places, causing PERMANENT PAIN! I will eventually have to get another orthodontic treatment to fix the damage they did! I emailed them with all this information, asking for a partial refund, considering I had to pay a retainer somewhere else, and will have to get another treatment later if I want to ease the pain. 3 weeks later I got a letter in the mail saying they won't refund me. They are horrible doctors! They will tell you what you want to hear then backtrack later. They don't take responsibility for their mistakes and are actually negligent and unprofessional. They are like a factory, with no personalized treatment, you will be seen one by one like on an assembly line. The office and equipments are outdated, the doctor is rude and dismissive. I absolutely regret getting my treatment done here, and I am warning everyone who is thinking of going there, don't do it! read more

I had just completed my Invisalign treatment as of today, from August 2020 through March 2022. My initial completion date was June 2021, plus another 3 months of refinement trays. So far so good. I do not feel like I am getting over charged for unnecessary services nor do I feel like they are BS me about the treatment my son needs to have a perfect smile :) The front desk staff is very nice. They made sure to advise me of what my out of pocket would be over the duration of my sons treatment and they advised me what my insurance covered. My son lost his retainer literally 3 weeks after we got them. The charge is $350 for a replacement.. Basically the same initial fee I'd just paid for the mold and top retainer. Staff did a lot of questioning, which was uncomfy, I felt I had to prove a good enough reason to give them as to why they were lost. Which I realized I did because it was the decision of the doctor to not charge me for the replacement unless it happens again. Which was totally fricken awesome.. We were quoted almost $5000 and they didn't take my dental insurance!!! This is more than twice my next estimate. Their prices are crazy and I think they think I'm crazy if I'd accept that price. The place is like a puppy mill. While waiting, I saw one child after another walk in and out. It didn't appear there was much time spent with any parents or children. The dentist would look at the patient, maybe work on them briefly, then leave them for the assistants to spend the rest of the patient's visit. No surprise here when he spent only a few minutes checking my child and giving me that outlandish quote. Stay away! read more
