I've been coming to this dentist a few years now, they've been doing great work for the most part, I've had no complaints. I went in for an X-ray on my mouth for a cleaning and had a big cavity that needed something extra that wasn't covered. No big deal, but I asked hey what's the price going to be based on my insurance. I specifically said how much it's going to cost with the words "WORST CASE SCENARIO" . I know insurances and stuff can be tricky but I needed to know my options. They ran the numbers and gave me two numbers with the higher being around $130 total. I said okay that's fine, scheduled my appointment and was on my way. I went back and they put a temporary and then went back again when they put the permanent molding in my mouth. I was told I owed around $120 and I said nbd, paid it and was on my way. I get a bill in the mail saying that I owe around $160 and I was confused and thought maybe they sent the bill around my second visit and it didn't reflect the payment and adjustments after the fact. I called to get clarity and they stated that the estimate was just an estimate and that my insurance no longer covered part of what I had done. I was upset but asked them to look into this because I specifically said "worst case scenario". They told me they would speak with Dr. Escobar and call me back . I called back a few days later as I had not heard back and they told me they were still working on it. Okay fine. I checked in This was around 3 weeks ago. At this point it was on the back of my mind but I let it go. Today I get a text from their company with my bill. I call back and speak to billing and she states that they tried doing what they could but my insurance is no longer covering part of the work that THEIR THIRD PARTY checked prior. She mentioned it was all done by them and that doing this check is just a courtesy not something that is done and that the work would cost the same anywhere. The point wasn't the cost of the work, it's the fact that their third party didn't bother to check on trying to get an even close to accurate number on how much the work would be. We went back and forth and while I understand it's not on the employee there (which is why I'm not choosing to put their name publicly on here) it's still a reflection of their business practices. If an employee at any business tells someone the incorrect information, it's something that should be taken and dealt with internally. It's a shame because they do great work but they should take a look at whom they trust to have as a third party if that party isn't accurately obtaining the information they need from them. If you went to a mechanic and they quoted you $500, but they find it would actually be more, the two options would be to tell the customer that it's actually going to be a higher cost prior to doing the work or eat the difference. Not charging someone what they thought was going to be charged is a breach of trust, whether or not it was malicious or accidental. read more

Dr Yanes and Escobar are amazing! Everytime I get into a dentist chair I am so anxious! I had a terrible pain in an area in which I thought I had gum sensitivity. They found out that I had a cracked filling and that was why I was having such problems! This was after several years and two dentist offices! Both of which never discovered the problem! I trust them to not take advantage of their clients! Now I am spreading the news of this awesome office! read more

Dr. Yanes dentistry is not just offering a great dentist, it is the Perfect package. I live on the West side of Los Angeles and willingly drive more than 120 miles to go see Dr. Yanes even for a simple cleaning. Last time I was there for a crown and decided to schedule a zoom whitening session for my next visit. The whole office came together to get my impression and make my costume-made trays while Dr. Yanes was working on my tooth. They had my trays ready before my work was done. Considering the distance I travel to go see them, I really appreciated their sense of urgency and quick, precise work. I have been with Dr. Yanes for more than 4 years now and can proudly recommend them. read more

Dr. Yanes and his team are great. They do all they can to ease their client's. Take their time to know their client's. The front staff have been change a few times. They have made some mistakes about billing a few times. Hopefully the new staff will be better. I gave four stars to Dr. Yanes and the back office. Not 5 for the front desk ladies. They are extremely helpful, easy to commodate your time. Worth visiting and switching over for a better Dentistry. read more

I am so surprised to see that there are only 3 reviews for this office. This has to be the best dental office I have ever been to. Not only because the staff is friendly and welcoming, but because Dr. Yanes and Dr. Escobar are Amazing. They take such great care of me and my children. My kids are never afraid to go to the dentist. Dr. Yanes and Dr. Escobar really take the time to get to know my family and it makes our experience so much nicer. They also do great work! Every time I leave the office I feel my mouth is so much healthier. I could not have found a better dentist. read more

Was embarrassed to say had not been to a dentist in years. Was recommended Dr. Yanes office and could not be more thankful. They are all very nice. From the front desk on back, they have all put my nerves at ease. Especially Pearl. She's great! I even find myself holding back chuckles while Dr. Yanes is working on my teeth. You can tell they all genuinely care about each other which makes for a very nice atmosphere. They even give me a little pillow for my head while I'm getting work done because I have vertigo. Beautiful Veneers!!! The process was very simple and quick. Dr. Yannes made sure they were absolutely perfect before I left his chair. The "temporary" veneers were even perfect! I almost didn't want to take them off for the permanent ones! Dr. Yannes is such a great dentist, and so his his wife, and the entire staff over there are so greatmy family have been coming to him for 10+ years and we've always been happy. My kids like him also ,and it's so great when Dr. Yannes gives my unruly teenager advice, because my he actually takes it:) all of the staff really listen and do everything they can to make you comfortable and take care of you. Our family absolutely loves Dr. Yanes and Dr. Escobar! We've been going to them for several years. So many things about them that I love but mostly that I know they are trustworthy. All tooth/mouth recommendations are made because they really care and want the best for each individual. Our two boys have also been going to them since they were 3 years old. I love that Dr. Yanes and Dr. Escobar have young kids as well so they know exactly how to make kids feel at ease in the chair. Both my boys have had to get cavities filled now and Dr. Yanes does such a great job of talking to them about what's going to happen but also not telling them "too much" (for example he doesn't tell them he's giving them a shot in their mouth). I have always dreaded the dentist office. Not anymore! The staff is so nice. The hygienists explain what they are doing and are so patient. Dr Yanes takes the time to talk to you. I am actually looking forward to getting my mouth healthy with these people. I'm even driving over a half hour to go to this place. Highly recommend!! read more
