I have followed Bria Nolan to Vitahl as I have loyally followed her for years. She has done microdermabrasion (once about 9 months ago), Botox (brow, crows, lip flip), and lip filler (once/ about a year ago) over the time I've seen her. This past visit was our occasional Botox visit once or twice a year. She has developed a true understanding for my face and a level of care for me I would not want to be in the hands of anyone else. This place does not have respect for their customers. Do not go there! I went to see Dr. Patel a couple of weeks ago for a consultation. She suggested various treatments and I kept telling her that I want natural results. I opted out of gel injections and Botox on my jaw that she suggested, which I am glad, because she does not care about what you want. She convinced me to get a Botox instead of Dysport, even though I told her Dysport is what I prefer and that's what I had in the past. I ended up with horrible results two months before my wedding. I wish I never stepped my foot into that place. Do not go there. Stephanie was rude, condescending and deceptive. She is one of the owners is very disrespectful and almost showed me the door when I said I should be refunded. Again, if you don't want them to mess up your face and then treat you like shit then don't even consider this place. I never write reviews unless it's positive. I have been to Vitahl for a few different facials and now more recently, Laser Hair Reduction. The front desk is welcoming- I always enjoy our interactions! I have been seeing Fred Goudy for all of those treatments and he is fantastic! I always walk out learning a bunch. I was nervous to try laser reduction because I thought it would be incredibly painful, but I am 3/5 treatments through and I'm already looking at what I want to do next. Fred also has sent me a nice email checking in after my procedures which I thought was very thoughtful. I just turned 26 and got Botox for the very first time. A client of mine referred me to Meredith Villarreal and I'm so grateful she did. Meredith was so sweet, patient, and thorough answering every question I asked. I got 12 units in between my brows a week and a half ago and I'm already noticing and absolutely loving the results. Came here a few times to get spider veins around my nose removed. Had pretty good success until the last time a new technician assured me he was using the same settings that were used on me before, yet, he left me with second degree burn blisters. I contacted them immediately and while they were very responsive and wanted me to see them immediately (unfortunately i was traveling) the damage was done and I am left with permanent scarring. He technique is different than what I'm used to and the results are off the charts....natural and effective. It has finished some lines on my neck that I was becoming very cognizant of. Next I consulted with Michelina for skin and she fit me in for a TCA chem peel. My skin on my face and neck has never looked better. Dr. Patel botched my face. I asked for filler in my cheeks and she injected it under my eyes, which ended up looking like lumps of sausages. She then proceeded to insist that those were naturally there and those lumps were "part of my orbital bone". For someone who is an ophthalmologist, this person has no conception of facial anatomy. I went for a second opinion at another office and they were confused and shocked at what she was even trying to achieve, clearly understanding the un-aesthetic appeal. She was extremely arrogant and rude to me and left me acting like I was seeking some kind of aesthetic change far too drastic when what I requested was not at all what she provided and every time I had an appointment in the office she kept trying to upsell more and more filler. Ummm no thanks. My friend also went in for a consultation and was appalled at the pressure Dr. Patel was placing for treatment. I contacted the head office in Denver 6 months ago, and they never called me back. Unprofessional. I can also attest to her botox services. Far far far too overdone. Finally, the office is so dark, how can they even treat anyone in such lighting? And the entire staff is rude and come winter time it is filthy with salt and snow trailing the entire office. I love this place!! I actually followed Michelina, the aesthetician, from a med spa in Lincoln Park, and was reluctant to go downtown due to inconvenience. HOWEVER, I don't trust anyone else so I had no choice. The employees and spa are amazing so I was pleasantly surprised. I've been going to Michelina for years and she got my aging 44-year-old skin absolutely glowing for my recent wedding. Michelina isn't some recently graduated kid from a hair salon-type spa. She has a ton of experience and knowledge on lasers and also can explain the Science behind the skincare that she recommends so that made me feel comfortable. She's also always going to meetings and conferences and comes back excited with cutting edge knowledge on making us all young and beautiful. I found Michelina through Yelp a few years ago, after reading tons of reviews about med spas, and started seeing her after a free consultation...so I thought I should leave a review as well. I didn't know Michelina before so this is an honest review for someone who just really deserves it. If you go to someone without a ton of experience, you're really risking screwing up your face or body...the opposite of what we all want. read more
