This little place is tucked away behind some loud railroad tracks with a McDonald's on the other side. However it's done well using the limited real estate it has, offering two full 18 hole courses (east, easier, and west, harder). Each one has its own unique whimsy. The east course is a more Alice in Wonderland feel, the west course a more pirate theme feel. We kept stopping to take silly photos with the various brightly colored statues. Not a bad price for fun in the middle of Austin, I think we paid $7 per person? They offer a discount if you do both ($11 a person, aka $4 more for the next 18 holes). You can also get cheap snow cones and such at the stand. They'll let you bring offsite beverages (except alcohol). The place could use a little TLA and repairs; some of the holes don't work quite the way they should or have damage but honestly we had a lot of fun anyway. read more

The two courses are cute with the whimsical figures throughout. We went during Spring Break and it was full of people. There was a long line to use the second course so we left. Since this is putt putt it would have been nice if there weren't leaves and twigs all over the putting greens. read more

There are no animatronics, no club house for apps and drinks, nothing that you would see at your newer putt putt golf courses, but it is a quaint place with two course options. It's a tight squeeze. We went when it wasn't very busy in the middle of a week day. The parking lot can get crowded quickly so have a plan if you're going when it's busy. I'm glad we checked it out, as it gave us something to do, but we won't be rushing back next time we're in the area. read more

Parking is tough because the lot is small, I'm not sure if McDonald's still lets you park against the hedge facing away from McDonald's. It's a fun place! Bring your own alcohol, no glass though! We went over to Austinite Marketplace and bought ciders then walked back over. We played both courses and had fun at each. Everyone is patient with the group in front. There are spots to prop your drinks and by the end of 18 holes you're buzzed anyways. They sell water for $2. Fun date night idea. read more

Been wanting to visit here for years and finally made it. It lives up to the hype. We had a friend reunion for me and 5 of my friends. I emailed ahead and they were able to reserve us tables and put our name on the sign to welcome us free of charge. The golf itself is super old and kitschy but in a lovable way. $8 for 18 holes and $12 for 36. My husband and I moved to Austin a little over a year ago and ran into this little gem. The parking lot is very small as many reviewers have commented but there are plenty of places to park in walking distance. My husband and I are competitive with each other and appreciated the option to take the simple course or the hard course. The hard course had a few challenging holes but nothing crazy. We enjoyed the fun book characters throughout. It was very busy but everyone didn't mind waiting and it was still fun to watch others play while you waited your turn. We didn't know you could bring your own beverages as I mentioned before we just came to Peter Pan on a whim. All-in-all, we had a wonderful time and hopefully this place will still be around for the next time we are on this side of town. This place is a true gem! read more

Now I can see why this place has such good reviews! It is pet friendly, cheap, fun.. it's a great time for very small groups of 2-3 but I wouldn't recommend more then that. There is not much room between each hole so if it is a busy night there is not much space for you to put your stuff and talk with your group as you move along the course. The course has a mixture of hard and easy holes which makes it fun! Staff was friendly when arriving but parking was a little difficult as we ended up parking a block or two away! It is BYOB so I highly suggest a small cooler bag that can easily move along with you! I plan to return soon and recommend checking it out! read more

They decided to come here alone during my trip. I love how they allow you to bring your own drink. And you cannot beat how cheap it is to play. It is pretty small, so you have to wait for groups ahead of you if it is busy.I came on a Saturday night and it was not too bad. You're probably thinking...5 Stars! Really? Why? Well, while it wasn't the cleanest, most finely crafted, and drop dead gorgeous venue in Austin, it's charm and nostalgia get MAJOR points from me. Who knew that doing something so simple could be so much fun?! My family and I had a great time, and as usual, my 16-year old son beat all of us. The mini golf course is cleverly positioned on a hill with giant trees nearby. So, the aesthetics were on point. The landscape was well-kept. The difficulty level of the course is perfect for beginners and kids. The Peter Pan theme is based on the book (before the movie), meaning you'll see characters throughout you may not recognize. The old fashioned charm sucks you in. Be prepared to wait for other patrons ahead of you on the course. However, If you don't have fun here, then you need to lighten up, and leave your dark cloud in the parking lot. This place is an Austin staple for sure. If your not use to the Austin vibe... You might wonder what all the hype is about, because this golf course put the "Hole" in "Hole in the Wall." It's BUSY, not super well maintained, old AF, and the staff couldn't care less about you or anything else. That's not to say they aren't friendly or good at their jobs, cause they are... It's just the vibe, and we love it. Why do we love it? Cause it's BYOB. Cheep as hell. Supreme location right in the middle of all the Austin goodness. Walking distance from Terry Black's BBQ (where you should eat before and/or after coming here). The courses are hard enough to be fun, but not so hard you can't enjoy it. The decorations are unique, done by a local artist, updated fairly regularly, and just creepy enough to really hit that "Keep Austin Weird" sweet spot. Makes for excellent photo ops. It's also not really geared toward kids... Which no good Austin landmark is. That's not to say you can't bring your kids. Families go all the time and have a great time. Kids just aren't the focus like they are at most Mini-Golf joints. That said everyone is so chill here, if you are going with your kids you will never rushed by a-holes complaining about how long Timmy is taking. Everyone is just there to hang, and it's always so busy you couldn't rush through the course if you tried. It's the undisputable date night champion in my opinion. Parking is a nightmare, so prepare accordingly for that, but where isn't parking a nightmare? The Domain? Okay Chad, thanks. Take it for what it is, in all it's glory, and be blessed. Cons: Depending on when you go, it can get busy, and you have to wait for the groups of people in front of you to get through. (But that's the case with most mini-golf places I've been to). Cash Only. Finally checked this off our family's To-Do list. My kids enjoyed the course and the fun decor (when they weren't arguing amongst themselves about who should be first or second, etc). THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!! So glad we happened upon this adorable mini-golf course, definitely a new Austin Vacation Tradition for our family! First tip is park next door where the McDonald's is, along the chain link fence. It's so much easier to find a spot there than the little parking lot right at the entrance. This place is super affordable! There are two different courses available to play. Adults and kids over 6 are $7 for one course or $11 for both for kids 5 and under, its $5 for one and $9 for both. Just be sure to make a stop at the bank or ATM before showing up, this place is cash only! Tip 2: This Place is BYOB!! So bring the cooler. Just make sure to no bring in any glass containers. They also sell snow cones and soda/water for a few bucks. The place was pretty packed, but we had fun getting to know the people around us, and checking out the cool characters! We came right as the sun was beginning to set, so it wasn't too hot and still light enough to play. Although, this place is open pretty late! Open until Midnight Sun-Thurs and until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday! I think next time, we'll stop a bit later, after it's dark, to see the place all lit up! :) read more

I love me some Putt Putt and this a great venue to do 18 or even 36 holes as they have 2 courses. The easy course is recommended if you have kids or are putting challenged. Our kiddo had a blast and we got great photos with all the cool statues and so forth. It will get crowded so I would bring a refreshment or two to keep you occupied. read more

Ol' Rooster loves golf. Do I get to play ever? Not really, hitting a few balls on the ranch when the boy cooperates. It started out with my friend Weldon Dodgen, he issued my first starter set when I was seven. I hit so many balls out into the hay fields my dad exclaimed "You hoping for a golf ball tree?" I've had a single hole in one in my entire life on a real golf course. Putt put should be much easier right? Yep, that's me and little Rooster sporting our own clubs when we visit Peter Pan. No rubber covered stock models for us; we're professional. I approach each shot like it's the PGA Tour; the boy on the opposite side swinging like Happy Gilmore. To my amazement as well as passing players, he averages 3 holes in one per course by just running up and whacking the crap out of it. A large group let us pass thru on a previous visit on the uphill dinosaur hole; holed it. Walked onto the next hole and with them watching holed another one. Have I offending you in some way Golf Gods? Was it that sheep I hit years ago for lifetime free balls at a driving range? Peter Pan is fun and its old Austin with a almost finished makeover. We come here at least twice a month and don't even mind paying the $16 for both course price. Also, if your kiddo loves trains the tracks are just to the left of the property. Two trains passed on our visit this week which is an event for Rooster. For adults, the BYOB option is nice and a good option for dates. I love Peter Pan, 5 stars. read more

Had a blast here and did both courses. The crowd is a mix of adults and families and the game progresses fairly quickly. We enjoyed the bright figurines and bringing a few beers for the hot day. We were lucky to park in the lot, but if you can't there was a security guard directing people to offsite options. read more

Love it because it's great for kids and adults! The dedicated parking lot is pretty small, but thankfully they have overflow parking at the McDonald's next door! My boy had his 9th birthday party here recently and we had the best time! There were kids and adults of all ages. The guy that was working the desk gave us bug spray to use (while my dad went to the closest CVS to buy plenty), stored our cake behind the counter, doted on the kiddos, was polite, helpful and oh so sweet. The whole party was just a load of fun and everyone had a great time. I think the adults had just as much fun as the kids with us posing with all sorts of animals and such for funny pics. What matters most, though - is my son said he had an awesome time and liked it just as much as his Main Event party last year. Kudos to that! read more

A fun throw back to old Austin. The course has definitely seen better days and the parking is beyond horrible, yet we still enjoy going each time we do.
