There wasn't another person in the place, so I'm questioning whether turnover is a problem and how fresh the pastries are. I understand that mad people can be found everywhere, but his level of customer service was more like what you'd expect in a third-world country, not in Canada. I didn't touch my food and left the place immediately. When an owner treats not only his employees horribly but also his customers, it's obvious that his business is struggling and won't last long, and rightfully so. No wonder the café was nearly empty--who would want to be emotionally abused? Save your money and don't support this restaurant. Let his business die.

She asked me if I needed time. I did. I figured out what I wanted to order: - Strawberry danish - Raspberry and custard danish - Chocolate croissant There were a few customers who dropped in after I had. The nice woman returned and asked if I was ready. I was. I scanned my Breadcrumbs QR code. I then let her know that I was ordering three items. In the past, at any COBS Bread, I'd get my danish pastries in bags. I never enjoyed them being stacked on top of one another. The counter is run by 1 person on cash and a few working in the kitchen. Yes, the prices are on the more expensive side; however, these are not your everyday donut. Staff are welcoming. There was a constant stream of people. Pretty laid back, help-yourself atmosphere. The donuts themselves? Not too sweet and very filling. Wouldn't have minded them a bit sweeter. The only downside to this place was that not every kind of donut advertised was available. Otherwise, definitely worth a visit

The prices are fairly reasonable, just watch out for the small store next door, as the gentleman doesnt put a sticker on some of the items, and I ended up paying $8.00 for a schmear of tuna mixed with mayo and sriracha (at least that's what I thought). Anyways, for a true 'Nash' check this place out. Dont come for the service, come for the treats!
