Hey guys! Paul has been AWESOME with me! I bothered Paul a good 4-5 times this month and he went out of his way to check my car beforehand to see if it was smog ready. He remained patient with me this whole time while he had other jobs and duties on the line to take care of. He gave me the tips and tricks, drive cycle, and how to get it ready for the inspection. I'm sure other places would have just ran the test and failed me but Paul really cared about my vehicle and said that it had to he driven for a few miles due to a battery change I did before meeting Paul. Thank you Paul for helping me with my bmw and thank you for also doing a easy and quick smog check for my dads mercedes as well! Sorry to be the first one to break the 5 star streak but just want to give an honest review based on our individual experience. '02 F150 needed new radiator, thermostat, expansion tank and hoses. Went here because of all the good reviews and, close to home. Couldn't exactly shop around with the truck dumping coolant all over the road. Pros: Extremely fast - truck was done by the end of the day. Quality of work - they do excellent, clean work Cons: $$ - These guys charge top dollar for a basic job. After the job was done, I called around to see what this would have run me at other, nearby shops and Pete's is easily $250+ more for the same job. The parts are all sold at a slight markup, which, ok fine, cost of doing business right? But $50 for the coolant itself? Wow. But the kicker here is labor @ $375. Basically dealer rates, if not higher. Might as well bring the truck to the Ford dealer. Job takes about an hour and I was quoted around $100 for labor from a few other shops. So if you want your car back quickly, like same day and you're in a bind and willing to pay top dollar for it, go here. Otherwise, don't. read more

I was very pleased with the service that I got from Paul. I had a faulty power socket in my Honda Civic and when I brought the car in, he told me exactly what I needed to do. He told me that it would be best to simply purchase the part from a Honda Parts Center and if i brought the car back to them they can replace the part for me. I did that and he finished the job in less than 30 mins. For some reason, other places I brought the car to had a difficult time knowing either how to fix the issue or understanding what was going on. When you get a quote for $550 for a starter and 2 other companies give you $235 and $250 respectively, I guess you have a choice to make. Do I pay a fair price or allow someone to totally abuse me. I will NEVER let these guys TOUCH my CAR!! The overcharging stuff is they're choice but doesn't seem that intelligent. $550 for a starter on a 2002 accord when the part is $105 to $160??
