I've only ever changed the oil here, but have always been incredibly satisfied with the quick, efficient, and courteous customer service. Somehow I never make an appointment, but they always accommodate and finish the job in less than 15 minutes while I wait. I called looking to get the required smog check for my car. The guy in the phone said how much it would cost me if it passed the test, and it'd take 5-10 minutes. When I got there about an hour later, I told them I had called earlier, and he took in my car within a few minutes (even though they appeared to be nearly full with work), completed the test within 10 minutes, issued me the paperwork I needed, and sent me on my way. I couldn't have been more satisfied with my experience! He delivered exactly what he promised over the phone, and did it with courtesy and professionalism. Nope. Just another mechanic/crook. Came here for some diagnosis and fixing. After being promised the world, I was left with unfixed problems, a lot of wasted time, and a hole in my pocket! Edit after his reply: I do appreciate him trying to correct an oversight, but this is what is now commonly done after a business receives negative public ratings. I was a customer, still have receipt. Keeping the 1 star so as to give a true representation of this shops overall score. They aren't a 5 star shop! Not when they act like most: get em in the door by promising quick service, low prices, blah blah, and not delivering on all accounts. I'd give 5 stars to a mechanic who had the balls to say "I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it", or "I didn't have time to get to it", "here's your $ back minus the fair diagnostic fee." Called on a Thursday to check for prices, was told I would have to bring the car in with the part for an estimate. Went in on Saturday with the kit that needed to be installed. Was told a price and agreed to take the car in on Tuesday. When I took the car in on Tuesday(10:20), both of what I now know to be brothers were there... the one that originally gave me the quote is the same one that I later found out doesn't know/work on Jeeps. Spoke to both of them and again we spoke about price even though it had jumped up another $10. They never took the time to see the part either of the times, nor did the brother that, "works on Jeep's". Asked them how long it would take and agreed that possibly my father would pick up the car since I still had work. I was called at 12:25 and told the job would be more than double the price I was quoted and was told the brother had given the wrong quote despite having the other brother there when I dropped the car off. My guess is the brother that called me(guy who works on Jeep's) was upset after I asked him, why he never checked the part before quoting or why he never checked it when I dropped off the car. He hung up the phone. This was super inconvenient and a waste of time, driving around in circles... taking time off of work and still ultimately not getting anything done. This job in total is about a 1.5-2.5 hr job with alignment. I personally will never come here again. read more

I called the Lexus dealer to change front brakes i was quoted $404 dollars (this did not include rotors or even shaving the rotors). In an effort to save money I purchased the brake pads for $60 dollars and then I paid Pete to replace them for me he charged me $75 to change the pads and while he was doing that I noticed that 3 of my tires had nails in them so I asked him to fix it for me as well. His son fixed the 3 tires took out the nails and did an outside patch fix. Charged me $10 for each tire. All in all I spent $105. I'm tired of being ripped off by the Lexus dealer I will always check in with Pete and try to buy the parts myself first. read more

Came here to get an oil change. I waited less than 25 mins. He (the younger gentleman) is such a fast worker. I was able to get my oil changed and also get my tires rotated. I've been worried about my tires lately and he asked me about them. He even showed me how to check them!! I was honestly shocked that he asked about my tires and didn't bring up some fake car issues. I went to Pete's a month ago for the first time because my radiator blew up. Pete's was the nearest repair shop that had lots of good ratings on Yelp and was very close to where my car broke down. The owner was super nice. None of the "you need to fix this and also that.." that you get from 99% of oil change places like jiffy lube. He simply quoted a price and when I told him that I was a little short, he gave me a discount on the spot! So of course I had to go back for my axle replacement yesterday. And again he was extremely pleasant. He fixed my axle, charged me the price he quoted a month ago which was way less than the Just Tires a few blocks away said it would cost me. Now I'm thinking, thank god my radiator broke where it did. If it had been anything else I would have driven the distance to my old mechanic, spent a lot of money, and never known that Pete's existed! I tried to replace a timing belt on my Toyota. Bought the parts, Started to take everything apart, and realized I didn't have the tools or the expertise. I called Pete. He said. "Bring it in." I had the car towed to Pete's. Using the parts I purchased (and adding one part I should have purchased). In about 4 hours, they managed to restore the damage I created in 15 hours, replaced the timing belt and water pump and having it running as good as new. The service was competent and conscientious.
