After all the 130 am bars close PMS is a popular place to finish the evening. It had a reputation for being a pretty rough bar. That changed a few years ago when a new owner purchased it, remodeled, put in an enclosed Deck for smokers and started bringing in bands. They also increased security and more staff. The bartenders are all very friendly and professional and have been with the bar for many years. The value is average for the area and the pool players a little above average. The Jukebox is well played and they do serve food. The food is always good and the bartenders make a fair drink. Fowling is basically bowling with a football, but instead of a regular football, we used more of a Nerf-style, squeezy football. It sounds simple until you actually try it. Even when your aim feels spot on, the ball can bounce, shift, and completely miss the target. It was a lot of fun and honestly a better workout than I expected. I was surprised my arm was not sore afterward because there is definitely some movement involved. The space is great for groups, parties, team building, and people who enjoy active social games. The staff and setup made the event feel easy and welcoming, and I had a wonderful time. That said, I'll be honest: this is not really my personal bag. I could definitely see myself coming back for a kid, pre-teen, or teenager's birthday party, or maybe enjoying it more if there were an outdoor option where I could get a little sunshine while playing. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I'm glad I went. I had fun, I tried something new, and now I can officially say I've been fowling. Would I need to do it again in life? We learned that walk-ins had been seated ahead of us so we needed to wait for some tables to leave before we could be seated. This was a bit surprising. We understand waiting a few minutes, but 30 min is not okay. 2. The sweet server assisting us for dinner was in training and we learned from her "trainer" that she wouldn't be getting any of the tips from our dinner. Additionally, the "trainer" came over around 830 to tell us that although it was only three of us that gratuity is automatically included. Very odd that we were told these things during our meal. The server being trained should absolutely get a portion of the tips - we hope restaurant management reconsiders their policy on this especially since we hardly saw her "trainer". We normally tip over the 20% but because the trainer didn't get any of our tips, we opted to not increase the tip that was automatically charged to us. Price wise its a bit on the pricey side but worth it for the quality you're receiving. Lots of free street parking available.
