This is a great little dive bar. I stopped in yesterday with a friend who needed some cheering up. They had Dunkle on tap which was great. My friend had the Orange Crush cocktail and said it was fantastic. I ordered a salad and a Rueben. Service is slow at the bar! Food is good, what I had! They tend to just take care of locals and are not open to creating a place for newcomers! Great burgers! We were referred to this place we pass by all the time. We were leery but went to discover some place new. Definitely surprised by the quick service and great food. Kind of a dive bar inside with lots of regulars, which tells us there must be something good else they go elsewhere. We love the food. Every item on the menu is spectacular. Kudos to Scottie and his chef team. .... however, the last few visits have been difficult to handle. It has seemed like we are always in the way of servers and their regulars having their own good time. After drinks sat at the bar for 15 minutes, I went to get them myself. What this place lacks in the fine dining department it more than makes up for in portion size. Our group ordered the reuben, the patty melt and the chicken sandwich. The chicken especially was monstrously huge, more than twice as wide as the bun! Fries and tater tots were hot, crispy and delicious. The chicken sandwich especially was missing flavor. The breading was tasteless. The bacon was tasteless. (seriously, we each tried a piece and it was crispy but didn't taste like much.) Of the three the reuben was the clear winner. Great happy hour deals! Definitely a divey joint that feels a little bit dirty but it's a nice place to watch a game and grab a beer with friends. It looks like they might have events (karaoke, trivia, etc) so that would be interesting to try out. We asked for happy hour recommendations because the menu said something that wasn't quite clear (i'm drawing a blank), but the drink we ordered wasn't the best. It's probably smarted to stick with a beer or classic vodka cranberry in a place like this. No need to get fancy. My boyfriend and I have been here so many times and I haven't had one bad thing to eat! Our most recent visit was on wing night. I'm picky about wings but WOW these ones were good! They always have daily drink specials and they're good ones too. I love going to Ronis to play darts or pool. I am really disappointed to have to write this review because I've often ordered food from here and it's usually pretty good, they have some off days. But today when I bit into my KC Cowboy burger there was a literal TINY NAIL in my food. It looks like maybe the pin off of some type of tool or something? First time here. Literally sat 15 mins without being greeted or even being to order 2 soda's. My friend liked the burger and fries very much. I ordered a taco salad that was beyond bland and had to order more salsa just to give it some flavor (which had to wait 8 mins for). So by the time that I got the salsa, my food was already cold. Waitress was very frazzled and unfriendly, didn't even come back to check how our food was or offer any refills until 5 mins before we were done with our meals. Won't be back. read more

This place is your average neighborhood bar. The food is decent, and the drinks are as well. It has a true bar atmosphere with pool tables, a small stage , and other bar games. They do have karaoke here which is a plus! We'll go back and hang out there for sure. read more

I have had Roni's a couple of times - carry out and dine in. I would recommend carry out. They have a solid online ordering process that made ordering simple and my food was ready when I arrived. Dine in left a little to be desired with a rundown bar feel inside and very dark. I am a simple guy who prefers casual dining experiences but we had use our phones to see the menus. The food was solid and the service was good but the ambiance leaves you a little short. It is probably a good place to hang out and get a beer but not a great place for conversations with a business associate or friend based on it being a little too loud. read more

Maybe the BEST flat top burgers with a perfect crust in town! There were 12 people in our group and everyone had a burger. ALL AGREED it was one of the best they'd had in years! I split one with someone and they insisted on well done (i prefer medium). Even cooked to death (haha) it was still VERY juicy & full of beef flavor! Lots of great topping options too! We got ours with bacon, cheese & a fried egg! Oh, and Monday is BOGO on any burger! The tenderloin might be the BEST in the city also! Onion rings & fries were also very good, but not first class like the burgers & tenderloin sammies! The fried chicken sandwich looks great and is on special Wednesdays. Very reasonable prices plus nightly food specials. Our server was a sweetheart! But this is a small neighborhood dive bar that happens to serve great good! She did her best but service was average and some minor mistakes were made. In her defense, I would guess she's never waited on a 12 top before and any mistakes made were corrected immediately! She was also the only waitress and it was busy. The bartender was trying to help, but they were both overwhelmed. Still both were very friendly! Just know that you're going there for great food, NOT great service. The pub was very clean, but most furniture was old and mismatched. Went into Roni's Pub on a whim tonight after reading the Yelp reviews. Was not disappointed! Jake, our server, was great. Beer cheese soup (as you will see from the photo i attach) was excellent and the buffalo chicken sandwich was wonderful. Glas we stopped in. The taco Tuesday special (starting at $0.75 for beef hard shell) is a great deal. The chicken was chunky, plentiful, and tasted like it was grilled. There was also plenty of shredded cheese and fresh veggies. The salsa was mild, and chunky. The service from the young lady was excellent (friendly, cheerful, and attentive). We ordered delivery from Roni's and were incredibly impressed! I ordered a burger and tater tots and my husband had chicken tenders and fries. The burger was huge, toppings were fresh, and tots were delicious! My husband is quite the chicken tender connoisseur and thought his were great. The fries were a bit soggy but we were about a 14 minute drive from the restaurant and steam in the container obviously happens. A couple of minutes in the air fryer and they were crispy again! Technically, Roni's is the closest restaurant to my house. It's pretty new and I know it's more of a bar than a restaurant, so this was my first time there. On Tuesday they have 75c tacos, which is a pretty good deal, plus they had some good drink specials for the World Series. The place is clean, but the decor gives you a bit of a grimey feeling. It always grosses me out a bit when there's supplies sitting out on one of the tables and stuff like that. It's definitely a place that's probably better with the lights turned down low. Our waitress had some super-short shorts on and although she did her job, you felt a little bit like maybe they probably are expecting more male patronage than female. The tacos were good for a bar & grill, about what you'd expect. The drinks were fine too. I think our tab was about $12 for 2 cocktails and 6 tacos, so you get what you pay for. I'd go back, but I'm not going to be there everyday. read more

This place is very, very ghetto. The two girls working the bar and waiting tables are very rude bitches. They have no customer services skills. Once again another great experience at Ronis Pub. This place has the best food and drink prices. But most importantly the customer service Is the best I've seen at a bar. Ally the bartender is so good at her job and is quick with drinks and get your food order.The food at this place is always so good and the specials they have every day are mind blowing. I can say this its a MUST go check it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed. My hats off to all the staff and bartenders especially Allie the bartender. You make this bar what it is my favorite place to go when in the area. Also my fellow yelpers remember to tip well. Alot of people are not wanting to work right now so they are sometimes overwhelmed with the people coming in and being understaffed.
