I needed some of my good jeans hemmed but wasn't sure where to go. I saw this place and decided to take a chance on it. I was a bit skeptical but after seeing the results, I'm glad I came here. I've recently lost a lot of weight and have been taking in clothes almost weekly. I usually let him take a week to get my stuff back to me but he's been really accommodating the few times I needed something rushed. Everything comes back looking and fitting great. He doesn't breakdown the prices per item on the receipt but it always seems fair. I wish he'd take checks or cards since it can be a pain to remember to get cash. I want to chime in with the other reviews to support Pete and his tailor shop. He does outstanding work at a price that makes me feel undercharged. I had two pairs of pants altered by him. One was simply too long, so anyone could have done a good job. But the other pants needed both slimming and repair in the crotch from a previously tailor's less-than-satisfactory work. I got them back 2 days ago and they are like a new and improved pair of pants. They look terrific and I couldn't be happier with them. I'm now going to bring my new suits here as I feel very confident that his work is as good as everyone had been reporting on Yelp. My grandfather was a tailor and I know good work when I see it. I have yet to bring in a piece of clothing that my man Pete can not fix.... Recently i have brought in a coat jacket from Nordstrom that normally you can get altered there but i rather take it to Pete. I took it to Pete to get taken in from the sides and the length. It was done in a matter of days normally he will ask you when you need it ready by, in my case there was no rush. I completely trust him and know he will do such a great job. read more

Used to go to him and he was alright but after my most recent interaction with him, I'm not going back. He is EXTREMELY impatient with customers. It's honestly ridiculous. I brought him a pair of jeans that fit me too big because I thought he can hem them and make them a little slimmer. When I didn't understand his explanation (because of his accent and how fast he was talking) he got frustrated at me and returned to work. He said he couldn't waste anymore of his time trying to explain to me why he couldn't hem my pants. I'm sorry I'm not a tailor and need explaining. Save your patience, time, and dignity and go elsewhere. He won't waste a few minutes with you because he obviously has a lot more important work to do read more

He clearly serves a diverse clientele, because he can go from traditional fit to modern fit to slim fit with the best of them! What impressed me beyond belief, though, is the work he did with several pairs of jeans I just brought in. Pete knew exactly which style I was going for without me having to explain. Made my $30 jeans look like a million bucks! Down to matching the exact thread/stitching color. Bonus: he has loyal customers whom he knows by name. Im not going through all of the details of my experience but it was first-rate. I had a pair of jeans hemmed with original bottoms and a shirt tailored. The pants were straightforward. As for the shirt, I purchased it based on the fabric and design. Im a muscly guy and needed an extra large to fit my shoulders, The problem with it was that the rest looked like a giant patterned sheet. Pete brought in the arms, back and anywhere there was loose fabric. It fits custom now. I cant believe it. Total cost was $16! That is unreal cheap. I've paid $14 just for original hem jeans. I used to be one of the guys that would get his alterations done at the department store. Very basic stuff and never truly satisfied. I actually never realized what a good tailor could do.......until i met Pete Yelp led me to him and my wardrobe has changed over night. Never in my life have I ever thought tailoring my clothes. I always just bought clothes and worn them. ...I had brought in my tuxedo to get tailored and I absolutely love how it came out. Love Pete! He has tailored all of my pants for the past few years, and done it very well for a very good price. Word of advice- I like my pants pretty slim, and he typically tries to make them not as slim. He will do what you ask, but make sure you are clear that you want them more fitted and don't let him default. Different ages, different tastes I suppose :) read more

Arrived this morning at 10 30 am with no other person waiting in line to be serviced and asked questions on getting my new expensive jeans tapered. The tailor name Pete greeted me with a rushed attitude that he doesn't want to spend time with clients to help figure out what I needed done. Customer service and helping clients figure out what they need is part of being a tailor Pete. You have the worst customer service ethics and non professionalism ever. In conclusion, I believe if a tailor isn't patient enough to figure out what you want and your measurements correctly, than how much effert would he put into the details of your alterations. I would never come back here and even trust this guy with any of my tailoring needs. read more

Oh my goodness... FINALLY a REAL Tailor! Basically, he just does it! Like he just totally does what you need him to do, and in a timely manner too! Not to mention that he's just a really nice guy.. He's got that grandfatherly like personality where I totally felt welcomed. I bought an expensive yet oversized suit and took it to him, and for an awesomely cheap price he totally made it fit me perfectly! I mean SPOT ON PERFECT! I drive across two cities just to get all my stuff hemmed here (I'm short so it's easier for me to buy pants that fit at the waist and then just have him hem the length). I took my suit to Pete and he did a great job. He hemmed the pants, shorten the sleeves and the length of the jacket. The only cons are: he's not able to do rush orders, cash only, and he can't alter shoulders on suit jackets or shirt sleeves. Pete's a nice guy and he seems to take pride in his work. read more

Not Recommended if You Are Looking for High-Quality Tailoring I took my sport coat in to get the collar fixed. He took the coat without quoting a price even though I asked him - which I wasn't thrilled with. The way he fixed it doesn't match the original design. It doesn't look too bad but I definitely wouldn't take anything expensive in for him to tailor. Also, I had it freshly dry-cleaned before taking it in and when I got it back it had a few creases in it like he didn't bother to hang it. Had he told me it would be $2 to fix the sport coat, I definitely would have walked away. read more

I came here to get some pants tailored (which were quite expensive). The waist, leg width, and length of the pants needed fixing. I came back twice because the length of the pants were short at first. Everything else was fine. I came back today, March 25, 2021, to pick them up and see if the length was now good. They seemed fine but i noticed that the line at the bottom was a bit crooked. I inquired about this to the tailor and he started yelling accusing me that i was looking for something wrong. This turned into an all out shouting match and he even snatched the pants away from me accusing me that I was going to steal them. I'm a reasonable person but this guy is a piece of shit. Stay away at all costs. Don't let his experience or anything else fool you. Remember this date. March 25, 2021. There is no need to yell at a customer the way he did. Horrible service. read more
