We have been taking our German Shepard since he was 11 month old to Petey's Playhouse - Pet Sitters, Kansas and Missouri. Monday thru Friday for the daycare program! Zeus is now 19 months old if that tells you anything!!! I have never left my dog with anyone but family when I'm out of town, yes I am one of them crazy people who treats her dog like a prince! So just imagine how I am when I have to leave him when we go on vacation and the nearest family to us is Kentucky!! In all honesty I can say we are really lucky to have them! They look after our dog as if he was their own, when zeus was not feeling well they were on stand by to go to the vet if needed. Once we picked him up I was receiving text throughout the rest of the afternoon checking up on his status! He did end up going to the vet at 11 PM and I kept receiving text messages till late in the night checking up on him seeing how he was doing and if he would be staying at the vet all night and if we needed anything! Which was an amazing feeling! I was able to tell the vet what his symptoms were as if I was with him all day and not the Doggy sitter .. Zeus loves going to play he knows when we get in the car in the morning where he is going! How much he loves it he has started acting like he is going to hang out with his second mom! I think it's safe to say he loves them as much as he loves his family! We do as well,If anyone knows anything about German Shepherd they're very loyal to the humans in their life i know my moose loves his second family best part is I can go to work and not stress about my dog and how he is doing bec i get pic and text all day long! Petey's was recommended to me by our dog trainer. I have 3 pretty high maintenance dogs and Petey's is the only company I trust when I am out of town or need them to have an extra potty break during a long day. They are able to handle all 3 very different personalities and special instructions (one is dog selective/reactive, one is deaf/learning sign language and one is a big chicken). I love that they communicate (they also take pics) with me via the portal each time they come to let them out, when they arrive to stay the night and when they leave in the morning. My dogs love all of the girls that come play and have slumber parties with them. If Petey's can handle my crazy herd they can handle anything! I can't recommend Petey's enough!! read more

Petey's Playhouse is now my go to pet service. I highly recommend them! We recently left town to visit family and I was nervous about leaving our new rescue puppy. She came from a bad situation and gets anxious around new people. I worried in vain. She received such wonderful care and love that she was giving her caregiver kisses within the first couple of visits.That speaks volumes! I received pictures and a report after each visit and that put me completely at ease.The entire team at Petey's is amazing. I have loved working with Lisa since the beginning! She is so caring and professional about her business and it shows in everything that she does and the lengths she goes to to make sure each pup is taken care of. My pup loves to see her and it takes off​ so much worry for me knowing he is in good hands and always comes home tired from playing all day. I have a smaller, senior, timid dog, that would get stressed out when leaving him at a kennel when I was on vacation so I searched out an alternative. I found Petey's as that alternative because they would watch my dog, in his own home, and not around a ton of large, noisy dogs, in kennels that would stress him out. I received updates and pictures on each visit to let me know how he was doing. In addition, they were much more professional and trustworthy then trying to trust a neighbors kid, or a random sitter through sitting services that aren't associated to a company. Every experience we have had with this company has been great. They are very professional and friendly and truly care about your pets. If you are looking for someone to come watch your pet at your home then this is the place to call. They will play with your pets and spend time with them while you are gone. My dogs have never had any issues with Petey's. The owner is very friendly and understanding. Petey' s Playhouse Pet Services and Lisa are the best! I wish that I would of found Lisa 7 year ago! I am a crazy dog mom who thinks that no on can take care of Buddy as well as I can. We finally had a vacation that I wasn't feeling guilty about leaving Buddy. Lisa made sure that he ate, played and was entertained by her pups! I would give her 10 stars if able! I knew when we picked Buddy up (an 8 year old Golden) after being gone 10 days. He was happy to see us, but he went back to Lisa to say goodbye before we left! We're SO excited we found such a wonderful place for Scout. And Lisa was so great to work with! Our plans were unexpectedly changed at the last minute over an already busy holiday weekend and she was so flexible with us and made a slightly stressful time much easier. We loved getting updates and pictures and we could tell Scout was having a blast. It was so nice to find a place with a fenced in yard so she was able to run and play like she would at home. Petey's is fantastic! They offer a variety of pet services like dog walking, dog sitting, and even cat sitting. The staff is very personable and professional, but best of all they are trained and certified to take care of your fur babies! They go above and beyond with the animals in their care and the owners! Petey's Playhouse came through for us when we had to leave town very quickly. I needed just needed a single day of dog walking of my two dogs while we tended to a tender family matter about three hours away. Because they were professional and able to get back with us quickly we were able to just focus on family and not worry about our furry family at home and were able to stay just a little later in the evening. We actually live an hour away and still make the drive to drop our dog off at Petey's when we're going out of town.
