    Quesadilla

This small casual eatery is a hidden gem- their breakfast burritos hit the right spot. No inside seating, but their outdoor dining area is cozy and secluded. They offer an extensive salsa bar with guacamole style toppings too. Service is quick, prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. Definitely will be back to try other items on the menu. Friend ordered a quesadilla but she is a regular here. My burrito wasn't all filler ingredients but put a lot of meat in there.

Good times with friends and cold beer. The Lady addition to the crew was a welcome sight. Chips and guacamole to start and a carnitas burrito with no rice this time but that didn't seem to improve it much as there is no salsa or Pico de Gallo inside. The salsa bar is clean and has several items to choose from but only the salsa Roja has any real spice to it. Glad I brought my Tapatio bottle. We enjoyed the outdoor dining and had a good time.

Much better experience from previous visit. This is a true hidden gem in Claremont. Small selection of tacos, burritos and quick Mexican food. Outdoor seating only. If you're not paying attention you will definitely miss it.

Visited Petiscos earlier this week, needless to say I had a very pleasant experience. I ordered the pastor tostada salad and enjoyed it thoroughly (hence my pfp), if you're a big fan of Mexican food and interested in a neat patio environment with activities and servers with quick service, it's definitely worth checking out. The only * worth noting is the self-service salsa bar, while their sauces are incredible- I would love to see a little more effort on the cleanness and availability of this salsa bar. Overall a very fun and delicious experience worth your money and time!

We came back again since our first visit was pleasant. I honestly think the 2nd time the meat asada didn't taste smokey like the first time we had but it was still good. I liked their burrito as well wish they put less potatoes though. Lastly the taco was okay. We will definitely come back again hoping we get that smokey flavor again!

First time customer came in to give it a shot, and oh my Gosh !!! The breakfast burrito was so on point. The coffee is so good no sugar no creamer needed . The service is fast and friendly. I have found my new breakfast place even though they serve other foods

We decided to have some tacos and Petiscos happen to be open on Easter day. We were surprised to see some of the upgrades, but the most shocking surprise was the two loud TVs playing baseball that no one was watching. To say that we were disappointed, was an understatement and reflected most people who sat around us. I am not sure what they were thinking when they decided to do this, perhaps they're trying to court a new sports crowd and if that's the case, I hope that they find it. Meanwhile, those of us who found it annoying enough to have a discussion over baseball that no one was watching will not come back. I know of a few of the restaurants who have TVs that are muted, but with close caption for those who are interested, I wish that this would have been a consideration here. Another oversight that I found a bit shocking, is that only a few tables have shade. So everybody wanted to sit at our table as most of the tables did not have any umbrellas. The calculus is a bit puzzling - - spend money on TVs, but not on shade... This is all unfortunate because I believe the shrimp tacos actually got way better! One thing for people who aren't familiar, is that you order your food at the little window and you pick it up when it's ready. This means that you also clean out your trash before you leave. So to recap, good food, nice layout (where you can find shade), and if you like loud TV with your lunch, this is for you.

If you want some good homemade authentic Mexican food then you need to come here. The homemade tortillas and the fresh tortilla chips are amazing. I have been dreaming of those nachos since I left! Love all of the outdoor seating and intimate vibe it gives off and the staff are super friendly! Highly recommend

I'll begin by saying that this place is really cute and belongs next to the beach in Newport , like shake shack. At $5 a taco, it should be by the beach. The customer service at the order window was great. The young man was very nice and attentive. I ordered a carne asada tacos. I got 2 and they came with cilantro and onion. I saw that they have pickled veggies so asked for a side of those. My taco doesn't come with them, they made sure I knew this when I asked for it, but it should! The salsa was good on them but the tacos are nothing special. I can't say I'll return to this place because I think it's a bit overpriced for a taco, the most simple thing you can make.

My family chooses veggie and pescetarian options, we are never disappointed. The outdoor space makes this place feel like your own hidden gem. Great salsas, try the guac salsa, cold beers, Mexican soda, and delicious grub. My favorite is the soyrizo breakfast burrito, the elote, fish or shrimp tacos, and the Chile relleno burrito.

I walked in on a Friday evening and was surprised there was no line. I was immediately greeted by a woman who took my order, great service from the start. The two women working were doing everything themselves, from taking orders to making the food fresh, and still kept things moving at a very reasonable pace. I ordered the shrimp burrito with light rice and got the chipotle sauce on the side. They also have a CLEAN self serve bar with salsas, cucumbers, and limes, which is always a nice touch. The burrito was huge and so good. My plan was to eat half in the car and save the rest for later... but I ended up sitting in the parking lot and finishing the whole thing. Every bite had perfectly seasoned shrimp, no skimping at all. The interior is clean, minimal, and has plenty of seating. 10/10, definitely recommend.
