I first had the shrimp taco yesterday and it was so next level delish, I craved it the rest of the day yesterday that I WENT BACK AGAIN TODAY!!! Seriously dreamt about it. Today I added the Baja style, protein style fish and honestly this may be have just turned into a serious addiction now. Not sure if this location is affiliated with the La Bufadora in El Monte that I've been to but they make a mean fried fish taco like the ones made famous in Ensenada Mexico (and I've eaten many in Ensenada). It's interesting that they give salsas in presealed bags but that is for sure the cleanest way. Just haven't seen this done with REAL salsa. Not a bad place to grab some lunch for work or just for some Mexican food. Came here since my coworkers wanted to come here. It was my first time and I was told about their combo specials. I ended up getting the crispy potato tacos, a drink, and a side of fries to share. Everything was about $10 which is good price for a quick lunch these days! My potato tacos were decent and very fulfilling. Fries were piping hot and decent too. Disappointment all around. Never again will I come here. Best burrito in a long time. They have shrimp or fish...I think that's the Ensenada vibe. But they also have surf and turf which is shrimp and asada. It's jam packed full of that, with some rice and beans. Unlike larger burritos which have lots of rice and beans. The pepper was hot, the salsa was not. We ordered through door dash. Horchata was good but their asada burrito and fish torta left us feeling like we won't come back again. They do pack the salsa in a sealed bag so it doesn't spill. This place has pretty good food. There are a lot of times I that I have tried other Mexican food restaurants around the area, but I always feel guilty eating them. I can say that I don't feel that way here. I placed an order on their website (not grub hub) and it was quite easy to select what I wanted, and you even have the ability to choose when you want to pick up your food. I can say that even though I scheduled my food to be picked up 2 hours later, it was freshly made, timed for my pickup. The person that helped me get my food was nice. Food The food like I mentioned did not feel real greasy, and was packed with flavor. One of the things I like most about this place is their peppers that comes with certain food that you order, they are so good. I would recommend all the food that I ordered here. I found out that this is a chain, and this particular location has plenty of seating inside. Me and my husband love this place. This is our go to for ceviche, fish and shrimp tacos. However we decided to try the quesabirria tacos and we were very disappointed. Tacos tasted as if they were fried in old oil. Won't be coming here for anything other than seafood. read more

They don't have their combo weekday meals, it's all a la cart now but still a good deal! They do Wednesday fish tacos! The service was friendly and quick. The tacos were so good! There was a family in front of my table and the teenager was dancing in the midst of her meal. That has to count to something, right? Fresh veggies, pico de gallo, cabbage, their house sauce and crispy thick pieces of fish! The roasted pepper served with the tacos were amazing! I loved their salsa, they packaged it individually but wish it was spicer, well I should have just asked. But everything was so good! I always end up waiting the same amount of time as if I went there to order. It's frustrating, but the service is always friendly here and the food is good enough that I choose to come back. Good baja fish tacos are hard to come by, and La Bufadora does them right, as they fry them fresh. They are generous with the cabbage and pico de gallo, as well as the amount of fish. For the most part, the La bufadora chain stores taste the same across the board, especially as their salsas are prepackaged (likely from a central kitchen). Both the red (chipotle) salsa and the green are good, but can be a little spicy for those who don't usually tolerate some heat. read more

Nope, it came in a tiny container with some nasty tortillas that were all chewy. I don't mind spending money when its worth it but this is NOT it. This place is legit I go to Baja often and yeah it passes most authentic shrimp tacos I've tried in a while deliciously crispy and the perfect amount of toppings. The fish ceviche is good too always tastes fresh, they have a torre ceviche I'll keep you posted haven't tried it yet (but I will) I also had the Shrimp cocktail and it was good plenty of shrimp and aguacate . The girls at the front are genuinely friendly and patient. The -1 one star is due to the setup of the tables it's just kind of an awkward layout but no big deal, it is always clean and fresh. I mean this picture really does say it all . My dad and I and my whole family really love this spot. Quick seafood spot still fresh and bomb. I love the fish tacos the shrimp tacos and the shrimp ceviche is bomb! You can also grab a cold beer with your food or a fountain drink . There is also meat options. I grew up in El Monte so I grew up going to the location in El Monte but this location is just as bomb and way closer to my parents.
