This is my FAVORITE restaurant in all of Atlanta! The food is amazing, so flavorful and fresh !! You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. My favorites for breakfast are the eggs Benedict, avocado Boursin toast, waffles, and cheese grits! For lunch the ratatouille is the best, and for dinner the salmon and charcuterie board is my go to. Now for dessert...the best part of the meal their chocolate mousse is the best chocolate mousse I've ever had it's home made and served with fresh berries. I went and forgot my ID didn't/ couldn't really serve me any alcohol because of me not looking like my ID ok fine. Server (Sarah I believe) continued to said we can argue about it. I have been in the service industry for yearss I have never told a customer we can argue about it. I had left without even saying much because I didn't want it to take it too personal. I then decided to call and speak with the manager and apparently she was the manager. I don't appreciate the fact on how it was handled. She could've said I am the manager and I don't think I can serve you any alcohol, instead of saying this doesn't look like you... we can argue about it. Unprofessional. My first visit was flawless. The Barista prepared my espresso with love; it was dark and bold with a nutty flavor, they offered alternatives to dairy for add ins as well as dairy. I avoided the delicious french pastries and breads and went straight for my Keto breakfast with thick smoked bacon and fresh organic egg scramble. All enjoyed at the bar designed by owner, Ron Fischer, from local vintage lumber. The 100 year old wood was salvaged from Cabbage town sites. The place has a french countryside feel but is located in the heart of Cabbagetown right on Memorial Dr with abundant free parking & inside there are ample charging stations for media devices! Took 2 croissants back with us one is pronunced queen amon but spelled unusual and had blueberry inside, it was fantastic! The other was a pistachio one, it was also superb! This has become our go to and one of our favorite places in the city. As a vegetarian I usually get the Cabbagetown breakfast bowl with veggie sausage. My partner is partial to the waffles. So good! From the moment we walked through the doors we felt welcomed. We decided to sit at the bar, we were immediately greeted and told that our waiter would be right with us. I ordered the petit Dejeuner Ville du Chou/Cabbagetown Breakfast Bowl, with bacon, biscuit on the side with the cherry vanilla preserves (our waiters suggestion) it was phenomenal! The tastes worked wonderfully together along with the textures. The preserves were divine! My partner had the Croque Madame, one of the best he's ever had! Simply incredible brunch!! Hubby and I sat outside on a beautiful Sunday and had a delicious lavender latte, cold brew, and one of their handcrafted blackberry sodas. Highly recommend all! Eh, this place has changed drastically since I first started coming here. It was great! Not so much now. My partner and I were seated quickly, but like all the other negative reviews, the food took FOREVER to come out. The waitress was slow, and more attentive it seemed to other customers. She was at least kind. She offered muffins for the wait but I'm thinking the order was lost in the mix. When we received our food it was lukewarm and had no taste. Very overpriced for what we got. In town for a conference and after 3 days of prepackaged, buffet, or fried foods, it was wonderful to eat something fresh. I had the French onion soup and the avocado toast. Avocado toast was amazing and I would definitely order it again. Heck, I'm going to see if I can recreate it when I get home; it's that good. Driving to this quaint cafe made my co-workers exchange some worried looks (graffiti-filled underpass), but don't let that stop you from this gem. Despite the sudden explosion of quality breakfast joints, Petit Chou is a welcome addition in the Cabbagetown neighborhood. Even though it's located right off Memorial Drive, somehow Petit Chou maintains a neighborhood eatery feel. The colorful exterior and a private parking lot welcomes you into a cozy and warm interior. We tried the highly recommended buttermilk biscuits with chicken sausage gravy as well as the buttermilk biscuit sandwich with chicken sausage and scrambled eggs with cheese. Both were excellent! Petit Chou's biscuits are its own thing. They're denser than the typical biscuit but very tasty. Something about them almost feels like an English muffin instead of a biscuit. The sausage is very fresh and not extremely salty. The eggs were fluffy and delicious as one would expect. We couldn't resist asking about the daily pastries and found ourselves noshing on a tasty chocolate croissant. Our server let us know that they're also working on dinner plans at the restaurant. Great little spot. Sunday brunch wait for 3 was about an hour. Our server was eager to make sure we had what we needed. My friends enjoyed the coffee. I ended up ordering TWO cafe mochas. They were just that good. The waffle was excellent (we shared) And the food was great! This place was fantastic. Everything was super good. We had the waffles, the biscuits and gravy, the cabbage bowl and the avocado toast. The waffles and biscuits and gravy was the best. We also ordered some biscuits for the table and the peach jam (which I was pretty iffy on) was DELICIOUS! The lattes were also a hit. We had the mocha and vanilla latte. They make their vanilla syrup in house. The vanilla latte was a winner. If you order the mocha, add some vanilla syrup. They were perfect. Not too sweet. Go here. It's fantastic. Petit Chou is an interesting new addition to Atlanta's rapidly evolving Memorial Drive restaurant scene. Inside, cozy tables surround a bar and, outside, tables made from reclaimed materials provide a pleasant al fresco dining space, although the noise from passing trucks can be unpleasant. (A plant-based "living wall" might help to block out some of the noise and visual pollution?) I recently came for a late breakfast and had their version of a breakfast sandwich: biscuit, sausage, poached egg, and boursin. I liked how it was served in a bowl since, with the poached egg, it was really easier to eat with a knife and fork. The sausage was better than what you get at most Atlanta restaurants although the biscuit was unexceptional. One of my companions had the "Sarah-Witch," which is a kind of brie and ham sandwich, served on a soft roll. (The menu advertises "baguette," but the bread was really more of a soft sandwich or sub roll.) Drip coffee is from a premium brand and fairly priced at $2/cup with an extra $1 charged for refills. A nice carafe of tap water is placed on every table. Service is very friendly and efficient. The restaurant is also pretty popular -- by about noon, almost all of the tables were full. I would return and try other menu items, but I think if the restaurant is going to be as overtly French in its branding as it is, it may want to pay a bit more attention to the bread and pastry on offer, as well as a few other details. For example, if the menu lists baguette as the bread for sandwiches, it would be great if this could actually be delivered. If Petit Chou served its sandwiches on freshly baked "baguette de tradition française," they would be really stunning. I'm also not a huge fan of the idea of serving a croque madame with a poached egg on top, versus the traditional fried egg, which covers the entire sandwich. Lastly, I noticed that the viennoiserie inside at the bar were wrapped in plastic. Perhaps these were for to-go customers and there were other, fresher croissants available for customers dining in? Regardless, plastic-wrapped croissants (especially croissants priced at $3.75!) -- at a restaurant aiming for the level of quality that I suspect Petit Chou aims for -- look a bit out of place and, of course, there's a reason that French boulangeries don't wrap their fresh goods in plastic, opting instead for paper or wax bags that allow the product to breathe . Right now, Petit Chou is pretty good, but I definitely think it has the potential to be great, especially if the quality of bread and pastry was elevated to a truly French level of excellence. read more

Food was great, ambiance is really fun and casual. They have nice outdoor seating at large, private picnic tables shaded under an awning. The wait was very short, even on a Saturday morning. I had the biscuits and gravy with poached egg, which was very substantial for the price. Eggs were perfectly poached, biscuits had a great flavor, and the gravy was savory and fulfilling without being overly creamy or heavy like most southern gravy. Overall I was really satisfied with the food quality, though I will say the shrink wrapped pastries at the counter are a bit odd and more in line with a fast casual cafe than a place that bills itself as a French bakery. The only downside is in regard to the coffee. I didn't try it, so I can't comment on the quality, but I was very excited to try Perc, which I hadn't seen since my trip to Savanah. Unfortunately, despite all of their house made syrups for soda, they offer no syrups of any kind for their coffee or lattes. Even Monin would be okay, but housemade syrups would be amazing. read more
