Petit Gourmet is an eatery at the Cleveland Hopkins Airport. You can find it at Concourse C across from Gate C8. It's right next to Regus Recharge pod in case working makes you hungry (feel like it's a thing!). Eating here might be a good choice if you're flying United Airlines located in this concourse. I stopped in early morning (7 AM) for breakfast. AMBIANCE: I can't believe I'm writing about ambiance of airport eatery but here we are. The place has cozy and modern cafe vibes. Minimalistic wood furniture, predominance of white and grey hues, and soft lighting. I was attracted to this cafe solely because of the ambient lighting. There is also a window overlook gate C7 for your "I'm in motion" social media documentation. Seating options are aplenty. There are plenty of tables with 2 and 4 guest options. There ks a bar with a few seats. And my favorite - seats overlooking the concourse. Why favorite? There are plenty of outlets to charge your devices! FOOD: Let's start with the best thing about this cafe - Leavened baked goods. Leavened is one of the best bakeries in Cleveland! Here you'll find their selection of goods to go. No baked breads though. I'd totally eat a loaf of bread in-flight. The remainder of the menu is simple yet filling. There are dine in, grab and go options. I ordered croissant sandwich ($15.50) with smoked ham, fried eggs, Swiss cheese, breaker potatoes, and mustard aioli. The food was very mediocre - potatoes too fried and tiny, cheese sparse, ham was low grade, and eggs extremely over peppered. I found this dish to be overly greasy and bitter. Yet ham was very dry and a bit cold. It tasted like something you'd find at breakfast at someone's house. The meal didn't taste restaurant made. I say it without hesitation that I wouldn't order this dish again. DRINKS: I also purchased a small tea. They have Lipton only...meh. I also purchased 1L bottle of water for almost $5. Airport prices. As I kept walking through the concourse, I found a lot more cafes with cheaper prices. If you're a boozy traveler, they have different drinks including wine and mojito specials. Although the martini glasses hanging overhead are very dusty. SERVICE: The service was awkward. There is no clarity where you order. Do you just sit and they come to you? Do you go to checkout first? I still don't know the answer. But I think it's that you checkout and pay upfront. The server steeped the tea for me, asked it I wanted hot sauce with my meal, and was pleasant enough for airport atmosphere. As a business traveler, I didn't like the receipt format. The receipts had no itemization, just overall price. That's extremely hard to business expense. Itemization and price per item would attract more business travelers. Overall, it is an okay stop if you want to sit down and chill. I like the cafe ambiance and the presence of Leavened baked goods. I did not like the food at all, not even if we're rating it as airport food. I'd probably return for drinks and phone charging only. read more

The wife and I were forced to land in Cleveland due to bad weather in Chicago. While laid over decided to split a burger and a beer to go while waiting. Bill was $28.00 which I get it is an airport. But no fries just chips. When I paid the bill the Lady behind the counter became very irate and informed the cook I did not tip as well as the people previous to me The cook went into the back grabbed a few burgers threw them on the grill for a couple minutes and order was up. Cold and raw he spouted out get them out of here. Worse experience and food ever. read more

Friendly and attentive workers. Ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon. It was piping hot, a bit on the dry/plain side so would ask for some sort of sauce to add to it. Relatively clean and relatively inexpensive as far as airport food goes. They offer breakfast,lunch, and dinner along with a full bar. If you're on concourse C at the Cleveland Airport, it's not a bad place to eat/sit ad you make your way down the loooonnnggg concourse. read more

What a vibe! Flew out of CLE early early on 03/06 and I have to give credit where credit is do - the people petit gourmet are not only so kind and lovely, but fun and made my morning so much easier. They were playing great music and engaging with both customers and other airport employees. Obviously if you're at the CLE airport and you want to have your spirit lifted, this is where you go. Not much for ambience, it's an airport after all. It's a quiet place to grab a bite and watch some TV in quiet. The food is probably the best in the airport, both flavor and value. The portions are big. I had the egg burrito with sausage and my mom had the avocado toast. Both big plates and delicious. The next time we come through Cleveland Airport, I'll make this my go to stop for food. Kelly and Daisy took great care in serving us. They do it all with passion and professionalism. They are fast and efficient here. From taking orders, to food prep and delivery. Great experience that you wouldn't expect at an airport. It is very much appreciated. read more

Quaint/upbeat music spot in concourse C. We missed breakfast but enjoyed our lunch. I had flatbread with chicken and my husband enjoyed the chicken pesto sandwich. $33 for lunch in an airport is very reasonable. Adena was our server and was very accommodating. Very welcoming front staff from behind the counter. Plug ins for charging. Full bar with house wines only. Lastly, great size portions. Definitely could share! read more

This is a nice little breakfast cafe in Concourse C at Hopkins International Airport that I think is newish. They have pastries from Leavened bakery, some grab and go salads and drinks and a small breakfast menu. Mostly bagels and sandwiches, as well as oatmeal. I got a bagel and lox sandwich and a cold brew. The coffee was actually better than I expected with a little bit of vanilla syrup. The bagel sandwich fine. There wasn't a lot of salmon on it, but it was fine. The bagel wasn't toasted although I asked for it to be. Service was a little all over the place as one girl seemed to be newer and another lady was boasting her around rather than making the food. Got an egg wrap for breakfast while I was waiting for my flight. This thang was DELICIOUS! Eggs, potatoes, cheese, bacon...seasoned to perfection. The sweet man who made it was all by myself working the counter And making the food to order. Be patient with him, cause the food is worth the wait. He knocked it out of the park. Man, hands down this is the best airport food that I have ever had! I got the chicken pesto and requested additional add-on of avocado and bacon. The staff was super attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The restaurant was very crowded yet they were able to provide a high level of service. It was a staff of three and they all were hustling and working very hard. Thank you all for making my last meal in Cleveland, a memorable one! I'll definitely be back! read more

The lady behind the counter with the rainbow colored hair was not in a good mood and I understand that we all have bad days but she was very unpleasant. She was loud for no reason, inpatient and rude. I was legitimately concerned and asked her if she was okay and she just nodded at me but as we were walking away we could hear her complaining. Look, no one wants to get people in trouble but we are all dealing with our own personal issues and the last thing anyone wants to hear or deal with before going on a vacation is an angry worker not happy for whatever reasons. I personally didn't do anything to her and no one in the vicinity did either. She seemed to be frustrated. She needs to sort that out before dealing with people and I'm sure when she has a rude customer she feels the same way. Hopefully this is a good educational moment for her (or not) and she takes this information and uses it to better her costumer service skills. read more

The people that work there are great but sadly the food was close to inedible due to poor quality control. More specifically the chicken in the pesto chicken sandwich should have disgarded since it was incredibly tough and stringy. The scone I purchased and spit out was very stale and should have been discarded days ago. Its really too bad because the staff goes to great lengths to be helpful and attempt a good food preparation. But nothing can overcome that kind of poor quality managment. read more
