The food is good, service is attentive, and atmosphere is relaxing. I will be back soon!

Buffalo Fingers ($9) and BBQ wings ($12)

The chicken fingers were $9 (left), wings (right) were $12. You can be the judge on if that is worth your money - it certainly was a giant disappointment for me. Atmosphere is equivalent to a typical 80s bar and lounge, and I'm pretty sure the same patrons have been going since the same timeframe. Again, that might be good for you depending on who you are, especially if you still wear a Led Zepellin shirt with your jean jacket. Giving the place 2 stars because then servers were very nice.

    Buffalo Chicken Wrap with Rice

I came back for a meal and went with the Buffalo Chicken wrap ($10.25) this time around. It was with crispy chicken, bleu cheese, lettuce and buffalo sauce. I also opted for a side of rice (see previous reviews for similar thoughts). The sandwich was packed with plenty of the toppings mentioned. The Buffalo sauce was spicy and really was the key for making this wrap as good as it was.

Came here after work for drinks and to get a bite to eat for Cinco de Mayo. This place is cute and pretty popular for the locals the live here. They had specials for Cinco de Mayo. We ordered margarita on the rocks that was served in mason jars. For appetizer we ordered jalapeño poppers and chicken empanadas. They were delicious! For the main course we ordered a grilled veggie wrap. That was delicious as well. Our waitress was very attentive given how busy it got.

Update: Petrocks is still a fantastic spot to eat with great drink selections and specials. They now have the Impossible Burger and it tastes TREMENDOUS. I'm also a huge fan of their cajun fries. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. I can't say enough good things about this spot.

We recently went and had the cheese steak sandwich (real steak) and the turkey Cuban and they were both delicious - including the cajun fries.

All of the dishes were excellent.  Also had a side of Fioretto Cauliflower $12 that was creative though not too plentiful.  Really appreciated that they list the farms where they source their ingredients.  The beers were superb, Hazy IPA, Bohemian Pilsner and Keller Pils.  The sports bar has a different menu with more of the types of dishes you'd expect at a brew pub. It is however dark and less inviting. In part that's the rub here. As much as we appreciated the quality of the food and gorgeous setting the fact that it is part of a brewery becomes somewhat irrelevant. We had beer because we were there but the dishes begged for wine. I'd have preferred a beautiful beer hall rather than the full fine dining experience. Just a bit too upscale for a brewery. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. .

This time, we were there to just hang out at the bar, so we went down to the basement, which is really nicely decorated! I opted for one of their brews, I think a dark lager, which tasted pretty good, though I didn't end up finishing it. I got to chat a bit with one of the bartenders, who was really cool and helped me out a bunch with some much needed water! I think his name was Herman. Pretty chill spot in my opinion, would come back for another outing with friends or colleagues.

I noticed AFTER we ordered that there was a cocktail special that night. Our waitress never mentioned any specials, so I tried to flag her down after I had already ordered a different one not on the list. I mentioned to the hostess what I needed, and I hung out waiting for our waitress at the front. After waiting at least 15 min for her to show up from the back, I was able to ask her to change my drink order. The food here is FABULOUS. We got the housemade Irish soda bread and it was amazing. Hubby got the shepherd's pie and it was delicious. I got the lamb chops over asparagus and mashed potatoes and it was FANTASTIC ! I don't know if our waitress was new or what, but our meals were delivered without silverware. We waited several minutes, then finally flagged down another waitress so that we could eat ! If it wasn't for the poor service, this place could easily be 5 stars due to the fabulous food. Thankfully we got out of there before the live music started, loud music is not our vibe. At the very end of the meal, somehow my original drink order made an appearance (that's what I was afraid of, that she didn't cancel the order). The folks at the table next to us ordered the exact same cocktail, so when the bar tried to give it to us, the waitress told them to give it to the table next to us instead. Geez, we were already paying for our meal at the time. Lol The manager did come out and the end of the meal to ask how things were. I did mention I thought our waitress might be new. I didn't get an answer as to if she was, but I posed it more as a statement than a question.

Don't be fooled by the curb appeal. I'm not saying it's hideous or anything, it's just not focused on aesthetics. Fortunately it IS focused on great service and food. The London broil omg so good, they've got a brisket garlic bread kind of sandwich which is a must-try, they've fish and chips as others have said is fantastic, I've had the Cordon Blue and it was very good, better than it had any right to be, and the Oreo fudge ice cream pie PRAISE THE LORD it's a 10/10 and if you're lucky enough to get the Baileys Oreo pie you're in for a real treat. Something about the outside gives off the impression of a "dive bar". Inside, it's a standard gastropub. She enjoyed it and it was enough food for her to bring home leftovers for dinner the following night. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce, with onion rings on the side. Service was average/good. We didn't have to wait to be seated or get our drinks. There wasn't anything where they could've gone above and beyond. We wouldn't mind returning in the future.
