I made a prior appointment and got in the next day. Upon going arriving I was asked the usual questions, kind of service needed, dogs name and my phone number. I provided all of this and then I was asked for an emergency contact number. Yes, this is standard in health care but i have never been asked that at any groomers or vet and I have been using both for over 30 years. I explained that I do not have an emergency contact number as both of my parents just died, my wife divorced me and I have nobody thst I would trust with my pets. I tried to explain that I do not have an emergency contact and instead of overlooking this, she made it into a big confrontational issue, telling me shes been doing this for 20 years and never had a problem and asked me why I didn't have any friends or family. This was very humiliating and embarrassing as I could not provide the answer to her question..an alternate number. I get why they may need it for emergency purposes but each persons situation is different and they shouldn't feel humiliated at the pet spa over a stupid alternate number. This person was very rude to me and unprofessional in my opinion and I will never go back there again. I went down the street to a new groomer who was much cheaper, much more friendly and didn't as me for another number or humiliate me. $65 ar this place - $45 at other local places on the square. They're extremely courteous. They call them plenty of time to pick my furry Furball up. they love going there once we pull up immediately they stop shaking. I do have to apologize to the owner because I do make appointments for one of our dogs which my wife has we make an appointment for her and then I have to be the bad guy and tell her my wife said she didn't need it this time and for that I apologize to her the other dog needed grooming more often but my wife is extremely happy With the service as long as she'll keep us, will keep going there. Again, I'm sorry for the late review but anybody who reads this I highly recommend this place the place is clean. During their stay, on day 2, I was contacted saying they were out of the food I provided. They are all around 20 lbs, I provided a gallon bag of food with a 1/4 cup scoop to feed then twice a day. They fed them a full cup twice a day,,,,,,,,,,, crazy. They called me saying they were out of the food I provided and asked if I could bring more, Well,,, being 500 miles away and having provided plenty of food my options were to have them feed them their food, which worked out to be fine. I was told they were very sorry and would make it right. I picked them up to day, quoted the full bill,,,, the young gal had no knowledge of the issue, no fault of her own, and she graciously gave me a credit which was great and greatly appreciated. I waited what seemed to be a bit long for my pups to be brought out, the gal that brought then was pretty irritated saying that it was difficult to get them ready to go,,,,,,, really???? I get them home and get ready to feed them only to find out that they did not send one of my older girls medications with us in the bag of other stuff. Wow. I called and they have it and suggested I "swing by" and get it,,,,,,, 40 minute drive. This is way out of character for Pete and Macs, so I had a suspision that there were some major changes,,, and yes,,, they have changed hands. I will be looking for a different place to board my pups when we go on vacation and would encourage others to monitor their experience with Pete and Max.

We had a terrible experience today. We've gone to Honey B's for years and always had a good…read moreexperience, but after the owner change, it's gotten very hit or miss. Today was the absolute worst, and the LAST time we will use Honey B's services. They assured me my groomer was available, and that they had my preference card. When I arrived, I was informed that my groomer had quit, and they had all new staff. I reiterated my preferences (shave down, poodle toes, schnauzer face and beard). I was called for pick-up and had to send her back because she wasn't shaved down. When she came back out, I sent her back again because her feet weren't done. When she came back this time, they had cut her beard off and she no longer has a schnauzer face. I am so disappointed. After I got to the car, I realized that I paid him cash and that he didn't give me my change. I returned in, and the lady said she needed to call the owner before she could give me my change. Are you kidding me?? Worst service ever. Worst grooming ever. This will NEVER happen again.

I had to cut her ears at home the way I wanted them. Nobody listens anymore, they just do whatever they feel. Not sure if I will be back here.
