Over the Memorial Day Weekend brought my dogs in to get groomed. Unfortunately I did not have the paper work for their rabies but had their tags and the name of the clinic which where they received the shots. When I called to make the appointment I was told that they could call to verify. So drove down there and immediately got the impression that I was inconveniencing them and wanted nothing to do with helping me. The guy told me that they couldn't call and that I need those papers, I was so upset and the fact I was going to spend at least a 100 dollars is their loss. I took my dog to be groomed there for the first time two days ago (we have been to other location but not this one before) and he is still no ok. I am not happy. It took 4 and 1/2 hours, his cut is lopsided, his ears were not cleaned, the lady that gave him to me had no paper work on what was done, she couldn't get him because there was an "aggressive dog lose" are the words she used and the place was dirty. He had hair everywhere, my car, my coat was full of left over hair like they didn't blow it off at all after the cut. I was very disappointed and will not be taking him back. read more

The Salon Store Manager " Mellissa Contreras" handled a delicate matter. She listened, gave us options, and gave us a resolution. I expected a defensive staff in denial but instead she accepted responsibility and resolved the issue. It was a great sense of relief being that we spend a lot of money at the store and salon. What a joke this place is. I'm currently in 2 medical boots and it doesn't exactly feel good to stand for over 10 minutes waiting for the associate that was called to the area I needed help in. If that's not bad enough, I was having a tough time getting the 3 medium sized bags of hay and bedding up to the register, so I asked an associate if she could get me one. Well, I waited and waited and 8,9,10 minutes pass and the girl comes back to the aisle and looks at me and then says, "oh I forgot about you". Gee thanks. I told her to forget about getting me one, I'd find my way to the register with everything. This place has the worst service not only today, but the other few times I have been here. Its located close to my home, but hell with the lack of help and the slowness, I'd be better off going to a different one. Lastly, there is a couple sitting right out in front of me that look homeless and have 2 large dogs that look like they are about to die. I called in and sat on hold for about 30 to 35 rings. When I got about one sentence out about the couple and the dogs, the associate hung up on me. What the heck? Shows a lot of care for animals. I don't care that the couple was outside of the store asking for money and I get they're not suppose to be loitering. What I do care about is those dogs. Could the associate not have stayed on the line long enough for me to ask if there was any way they could give them some water. I get it, they're homeless, but how can we just ignore that those animals need water on a 106 degree day? If I had enough time while I was here, I would have gone to walmart and gotten them some water and dog food, unfortunately I had to get home. My money will not be spent at a place who actually cares nothing about helping animals, especially when they are right outside their doors and a store that has some real shitty customer service! read more

The staff at this place is horrible. I came in Monday morning there were maybe me and two other customers in the store. I needed to get eye drops for cats which I could not find. I also could not find any available representative to help. I ended up going to the dog wellness section and they had them. I wanted to grab a cat laser toy which I could not find in the cat toy section I stopped a lady who worked there and asked as we were standing 5 feet from the cat toy section. She walked towards me and I asked if I could ask her a quick question. I asked if they had any cat laser toys. Without stopping to even look at me she pointed and said cat toys are over there (obviously I saw that they had a cat toy section as we were 5 feet away) and kept walking. So rude. I live pretty close and love to spoil my cat and two dogs so I spend quite a bit at pet stores but this place will not be getting another dime from me. read more

The worst grooming place ever, I tried few months ago, I was there 30 minutes earlier they refused to take in my dog , since I had to go to work so I gave up and went back home . Few days ago I went again , because the virus situation it was not easy to get in, I got there earlier but remembered they won't take my dog if I got early, I waited outside till the time I was supposed to be in, then they asked Rabies shot certificate, I told them I forgot to bring with me but I would go home to get it , can they take my dog in to start , they said no, but gave me 20 minutes to come back , with Nellis traffic I was 4 minutes late , also on the way back I called them I was on my way , by the time I came back they refused to take my dog , for 4 minutes late, I had never heard such a strict , not human like customer service , the groomer Luis would not take care my dog, because I was 4 minutes late , I was very upset did not argue , so I left . I will never ever go back there again ! There are many groomers out there , no customers deserved that kind of attitude and terrible service ! read more

This is the only Petsmart we go to! They are always fully stocked and the staff is very knowledgeable. My dog loves coming here and roaming around. The staff is also very good with animals and make sure to ask if ordination that she can have a treat before they give one to her! read more

I brought my dog in to be groomed, I forgot his shot records and they told me I needed to go home and grab them before they could take him in even though he's less than a year old and has his rabies tag on his collar and if he's less than a year old it's physically impossible for the vaccine to expire. After coming back and showing him the shot records apparently they were not legit enough even though they were barcoded and had the expiration date printed on the paperwork, he was looking at the handwriting on the log that the vet fills out. I tried to explain to him that he was looking at the wrong part of the records and that he needed to look at the side where the stamps are at where it clearly shows what vaccinations are present and when they expire I can only imagine how many people this place turns away because of their inability to use their eyes and see things right in front of them. The groomer is acting like some kind of FBI agent making sure nobody is going to counterfeit a dog grooming service it's pretty pathetic this dude is a dog groomer and should be grooming dogs. Not only will I not get my dog groomed at PetSmart, I will no longer shop there. read more

I went there last Sunday (sept 2nd 2016) and bought a tank, duel lights with bulbs, climbing rock, & 10crickets. I spent $136.00. I tell them when i girst get there that im on a strict budget. That i was getting a setup for my 8yr old sons first bearded dragon. I asked for help right away so i know id get what i needed. The girl shows me the tanks and lights ect.. So i buy them and go on my merry little way. I got back 2 days later for some more crickets, and my girlfriend points out to me that they have a whole beginners tank setup for $79.99. Every thing i had just paid $136.00 for was right yhere for $79.00. So i go home cause if i woulda brought it up there i would have gotten pissed and went off the rail. I call the next day to see what i can do to get that price for the setup. The first 2 people i talked to, ones name was Alec(great guy. Very helpful and respectful) they helped me just fine. But the manager Monica i believe just had this attitude. I had the boxes for everything i bought. Except the tank. Why? Cause i didnt want a tank box just in my house. And its not even a box its just carboard around the edges. But she kept saying she couldnt do anything cause i had no box. So i explained that her store screwed me over in price by not showing me these tanks that i coulda bought for cheaper and they had more stuff than i originally bought. So she gets a little attitude andbstarts telling me i HAVE to have a 20 gal gor my dragon. Which is wrong. Cause hes only 15days old. Tells me that its policy. Not going to lie but i did like the bigger tank. Was planning on buying it with yhe return money. But to sit there and say i HAVE to buy it pissed me off. So she turns around. Walks off and says with attitude. JUST BRING EVERYTHING BACK. i said, except the tank? She says NO BRING THE TANK. ILL TAKE IT BACK EVEN THO IM NOT SUPPOSED TO. i took it back. She had this attitude look on her face. My mom ttied talking to her and she kept her answeres short. And then after we pay gor everything she just leaves the register eith people there and tells anotger girl to take over and she just walks off. No sorry. No nothing. Just stormed off. Most of the staff is very helpful and friendly. Some of them really do go above and beyond their jobs. It's the type of old school customer service you rarely see anymore. The area the store is located in is not the best side of town so you'll find a mixture of customers, some civilized and some lacking manners. However the staff in the store and in Banfield Pet Hospital (inside Petsmart) make it worth going to. read more

Worst experience I've had today in Petsmart, as I was checking out, I was in cashier 2 waiting in line to pay, then I saw cashier 1 was open so I went there, was told by Cashier "Cherra" to go to cashier 3 since she will be opening that cashier next, I lost my spot went to cashier 3, Cashier Cherra told us she will no longer be opening cashier 3 and to go back to cashier 1, when I went to cashier 1, there was already 2 customers ready to pay as well, Cherra did not bother to let the customers ahead of us know that she was about to help us rather made us lose our spot again, we went back to Cashier #2 with a different employee waited in line, when it was our turn to pay was told by THAT employee that she is closing the cashier, we told her it was already our 3rd time waiting in line, cashier #2 seem to not give any care, I ended up having to make line once again to cashier #1, which that employee Cherra had a horrible look in her face like she hated her job. Felt very uncomfortable and will go somewhere else for now on, even though I've been coming here for years now. read more

Thank you for introducing me to the greatest product ever: GNC Kitten Formula 1. ....Saved the life of my precious "Boots". He was abandoned at approximately 4wks old and greatly needed nutrition fast. He perked up instantly when fed this formula through a plastic syringe. I couldn't believe my eyes. Our cashier was creepy because she claimed she was a 'cat lady' and stared at us while we paid for our dog food and persistently asked why we didn't own cats instead even though we had mentioned our allergies to cat fur. Horrible just horrible service! Their staff is so rude and especially their manager has the most disgusting as a manager you should be professional not giving attitude right away about my complaint and should've saw a way to resolve it rather than make things more worse. Petsmart should really rethink about what type of employees they hire like really. I came in with a complaint about their hamster cage that clearly said 'hamsters' and which was false advertisement because when I woke up the next morning they were gone and I went as soon as I saw my hamsters were gone to petsmart and complained about how this cage was false advertisement. Ok Petsmart regulations say you won't refund or replace any lost hamster but as the cage said 'hansters' and etc etc shouldn't you of thought that the cage was for hamsters? And it also says small animals. Anyways I went in and went to the cashier lady and told her my problem and to find out that she was giving me really rude attitude and followed by the manager thinking she was going to be nice and professional about it but ended up just being really rude. Again Petsmart should really truly see what type of employees you guys hire I'm not saying all your employees are like this it's just the ones that I talked to were really rude and disrespectful. read more

Just visited your location in East Las Vegas on Nellis Blvd. the line was really long but that was too be expected on Christmas Eve. When we got to the register we asked for a price check on an item and our clerk didn't want too so she sent someone else to do it and told us to step to the side so she could help the next person in line and voided our entire cart. When I simply said very nicely (I too work in a customer service environment) "I'm sorry but that's not very good customer service we waited a long time" she laughed in my face! And when my husband asked "you think that's funny?" She said "yeah it is" and then she rang up our order and practically threw the bags at us when we were done. I tried to say happy holidays and she ignored us and rang up the next person while we were still standing at the register. When we told the manager on duty about our experience she literally shrugged and kept doing whatever she was doing. This is really disappointing considering we are very very frequently at this store. It's almost tempting to order our products through Amazon prime now from now on even if they cost more because at least we don't have to deal with rude cashiers. read more
