We were really excited to get our first puppy but we did not realize all the headaches that were to come. A month or so in, I was at Pet Pros in Lake Stevens buying a muzzle for my puppy because he would not stop biting my wife. The clerk suggested that rather than use the muzzle begin working with a trainer. She handed me Kim's card. Kim has been a great trainer. The constant nipping has become a thing of the past. Redford knows over a dozen commands. Whether he listens or not is something we are still working on :-), but he is only 6 months old. Incredible! Additionally, my favorite thing about Lake Stevens K9 Academy LLC is that I am able to board my puppy with Kim. Redford loves his "playdates". It was a great way for him to be socialized and learn good manners. The classes were very low key and practical. We have continued to work with Kim and her team with dog boarding during our vacations and occasionally home drop ins when we have to work long hours. There's no one else we trust more! They always have great attention to detail and treat our dogs like family. We also have an elderly German Shepherd with reactivity and she does great with Kim as well. Highly recommend!

Before we started training with ACE, several people were telling me to "give Puzzle back to the rescue " or "put Puzzle down" because of her behavior and the damage she was doing. The check-in process was quick but thorough--they asked detailed questions about my dog's diet, medication schedule, and personality and they asked me about things I wanted him to work on while being boarded, which immediately gave me peace of mind. During his stay, I received updates about his progress with training. The facility itself was clean, spacious, and smelled fresh--always a good sign in a boarding environment. What impressed me most was how happy and relaxed my dog was when I picked him up. He wasn't stressed, anxious, or overly tired--instead, he seemed like he'd been on a vacation of his own. His bedding was clean, his food portions had been managed exactly as instructed. Im glad I found a great place for dog training and boarding as well as sitting in Mukilteo. Our new puppy, Whisky, is 6 months old and we had to leave her for 12 days. Whisky has extreme attachment issues to me and also a lot of energy. Whisky loved being at Ryan's home and I felt at ease while on vacation. Ryan has acres for the dogs to play and they sleep in Ryan's home. No kennels and there is someone always home with the dogs. I would give Ryan's place 10 stars if I could.

Even though we had the paperwork along with the rabies tag, they still would not groom my dog. I will never ever go back to this location again to patronize them. I will also be encouraging my coworkers along with my family, not to patronize this location, as well as they do not provide good customer service in our inconsistent with their policies! Very poor interaction as well with a tone the groomer used with me! Very rude individual!

My dog is a Cookie Monster when she's being groomed or having her toenails cut so treats are always good. She's a happy energetic dog so that's always exciting to see her get good care. I wish this Petco had the medicated food that one of my dogs requires because I have to go to Pecos competitor. The plus side is I can always find what I'm looking for. The downside can occasionally be there's not or does not appear to have a lot of staff to address sometimes long line, but that's not any staff person issue I've always always had a good experience with staff. As we all know, prices are ridiculous. Everywhere we go so it's not to Petco or any other animal care place. I've always found this Petco to be clean.
