Curbside grooming is a joke. Was dropping off my dog, and I am greeted by a woman without a mask. I cannot believe a publicly traded corporation like PetSmart would allow its employees to be vectors for the spread of disease. What was worse, is the woman without a mask clearly had a stuffy nose, seriously. She was symptomatic and greeting customers. The manager of this store should be ashamed of the culture that is created. Absolutely shameful. Also, if you do curbside, you cannot even give your credit card number over the phone to pay at the register. This place is dangerous and you should not go. read more

I really like the PetSmart at 75 & Parker. This store is always clean and I never sneeze (yes, I am allergic to pet dander). It's a good thing too since I have 2 cats - one of whom I recently found out is diabetic. I can pick up his prescription food and his beloved kitty litter. They actually carry Dr Elsey's Cat Attract which is about the only once my male tolerates. And they carry freeze dred treats that he loves. My femaie cat is more laid back but she loves the toys that always seem to end up in my cart. They always ask if they can help carry out. I really appreciated it when my arm was busted. They still ask and I hear them ask everyone. Great store and so far, everyone that works here is nice and always asks me if I need something when I'm wondering around. I can't speak for the grooming section since my cats prefer to groom themselves with an occasional furmination from me. read more

Today, I brought my dogs, Archie and Charlie, to get groomed. We've been to this location before, and I was skeptical on how my dogs were treated when getting groomed. This skepticism arose through a prior experience. Charlie came home in pain with a wound right above his bottom. He was in pain for weeks. We took him to the vet, and the vet said it looked like something nicked him. I decided to give this location another shot. Today, I dropped them off at 8 am. I received a call at 9:30 stating that Charlie has gone potty 3 times with blood in his stool, and she stated she was finished grooming both dogs. I rushed to the Petsmart as soon as I could to go pick them up. When I got there, I was not greeted with any information on how my dogs were. I was handed the invoices, and I paid at the register. When I returned back to the groomers, Charlie came out with a dirty face , and his harness wasn't even on correctly. So, I put it on. Then, Archie came out, looking like he was never groomed. Then, Sia states, "Could you please only make them weekday appointments because I need more time with them. We're so busy on the weekends." I couldn't believe she asked me that. I work full time, have a part time job, and I'm in grad school. I told her weekdays don't work for me. She said, "Even in the evenings?" I said, "No." Furthermore, I explained my schedule, of which, I shouldn't have to." Why would this location allow customers to make weekend appointments if they don't have the time to adequately groom each dog? It's not the customer's fault that the location overbooked and couldn't handle the quantity of dogs, and it's not fair that I was on the receiving end of their frustration. Not only that, I wasted $110 on a service that I could have done myself at home. My dogs look like they received a bath, and that's it. I'm so disappointed. Additionally, when I got home, Charlie has another nick above his bottom. I made yet another appointment with the vet to make sure he's ok. I will never, ever return or even spend another dollar at this location. In need of a dog groomer. If you have any suggestions, send them my way. read more

They have an awesome staff working at this location! You can tell they work really hard to keep such a big store as clean and organized so... KUDOS TO YOU! The manager, Shawn, is so sweet to my baby every time she sees her and greets her by her name every time! She always helps us out with any questions or issues we have. And Heather and Meagan are just the best! Nala loves coming here because she knows she will definitely see one of her favorites and more than likely get a tummy rub :) Y'all are awesome! I had used this location of PetSmart for over 10 years for boarding, grooming, and classes. Not to mention shopping. I had one bad experience with an unfamiliar groomer that was unable to work with my dog, and they Banned Me from all services after 10 years of faithful support. The manager was very unprofessional, not courteous, and she refused services unrelated to The Grooming the next time I called in to reserve boarding. The next time I called and to make a reservation for boarding, the clerk informed me that "my dog was not a good match for this store." Really? Because I never had a problem in the ten years that I supported your location. I will never frequented this location again. read more

We took our dog here for the first time because everywhere else was booked for spring break. I want to specify that this review is about the grooming service: When we came to get him, they told us he "wouldn't let them dry his feet." He kept trying to pull away from them when they'd try. We said it was ok, we would do it. They brought him out and he looked stressed, but we thought it was just because it was a new place. I dried his feet myself, and we headed out. He was very clean, soft, looked and smelled great. So that was good. But when we got him in the car, he was kind of whining under his breath. My husband noticed what looked like a little dirt under his claw...it was blood. They had clipped his claws way too far in, three of them were bleeding. No wonder he didn't want them to dry his feet!! Never mind that we specifically told them his claws DID NOT need trimmed as we just did it a few weeks ago. The last time this happened to him was before we got him at the shelter and he was starting to be so good again about people touching his feet...now if we do he flinches and tries to pull back. I understand mistakes happen but I'm very annoyed that they ignored our request not to trim, and that on top of that they did it improperly. It's possible that our request didn't get properly relayed from the Petsmart hotel, but even if so, it's still the fault of the business for miscommunication and they should have known enough to see his claws were already short enough. We probably won't take him to the Petsmart groomers again. Overall: Good job bathing, poor job clipping nails (hurt my pet!!), did not listen to us. read more

I brought my border collie/Shepherd mix in for grooming. I fully admit I asked the groomer to cut her hair short. The groomer suggested a #7 blade shave. I said ok. I am so mad at myself and the groomer for this. I did not know that you aren't supposed to shave a dogs double coat. Like I mentioned, I take responsibility but shouldn't a groomer at least point this out to you? Nothing was ever mentioned. How I wish would have googled this before. My pets stayed at the hotel for just 3 days. I asked them how many times did you walk them per day, and they didn't know. I also asked them how many times did you take them out to use the restroom, and they also didn't know. Hotel staff is not that friendly nor do they know how to do their job. I have a feeling petsmart did not even take my dogs out for a walk which came in the package of what I paid for. The hotel also charged me and extra $80 for playtime even though I did not agree to playtime. You have to pay money to play!? THEY MESSED UP MY DOG'S BEAUTIFUL COAT! I have a Maltese/Yorkie mix - he had beautiful hair that we just wanted to TRIM. I got a call saying he was ready and they informed me over the phone that they shaved him! I went in and he was bald, the cut was uneven, he had scratches on his skin, and even patches that were missed! The "salon manager" was the one who cut my dog's hair and she was complaining about a customer being "too anal about the way their dog's hair was cut" when I walked in the door. She even made a comment about another customer having "a stick up his butt". Every time I come in here and look through the glass where they cut the dogs fur, it's sad to see. Some do a good job, but some dog handlers should really not be working there. I see them mistreat the animals, yank on their collar, seen someone get mad because the dog moved a bit and the person started pulling on its ears hardcore. My neighbor saw a dog hanging, choking when it slipped from the table, an accident ofcourse, but still. I don't even want to imagine what goes on in the back where we can't see, where they bathe them. read more

I took Baxter here for a nail trim recently. The guy did a good job, but was a little clueless. Another issue is that even if one location has your dog's paperwork/information on file, the other stores can't view it in their system. It was a little inconvenient to have to run home to get something that I have taken in before. Of course Baxter enjoyed the ride so it was all good. read more

I recently moved to this area from Frisco and so far am completely disappointed in this location. On a busy weekend there is nobody working on an entire half of the store. Nobody to assist with aquatics, reptiles, small pets. Nobody to answer questions. For the amount of time you spend waiting on an employee they should install benches to sit and wait. It's not even like they're​all busy with customers, they're just nowhere to be seen. Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever witnessed. The manager should fire themselves. No customer should have to search out the staff, they should be standing by waiting to help anyone at a moment's notice. read more

We had both our dogs go through the training at PetSmart. We completed beginners, intermediate, advanced and tricks. This made a world of difference with the way we handled our dogs and the trainer (Kaitlyn) was fantastic and very patient. Great place! read more

We travel quite a bit and use PetSmart for doggie daycare​ and boarding all over the country. Our dog's report care mentioned her "having a lot to say" and being "timid," which we haven't had on her report cards today. I'm sure she barks and I don't have a problem with them giving an honest feedback. But when I dropped her off, there were a lot of dogs in camp (I felt too many; I wish I counted). Most of the dogs were barking and a German Shepard was checking in behind us (also barking and pulling to meet my small, old dog). I walked out of Petsmart, didn't have a good feeling and walked back in, saying, "if there are too many dogs in there, she can stay in a private room instead." Not our best experience. read more

Very rude manager, Jeff. I called to set an appointment for our dog to get his glands squeezed and asked what it would be to have his ears cleaned and nails clipped as well as bathed. The guy told me$27. My husband dropped him off and a few hours later I went to pick him up. When I got there the price was almost double. When I asked they told me$23 was added on abd my husband signed off on it. My husband waited for about 15 min when dropping him off as I was on the phone with him. The lady told him he was getting what I had scheduled so he trusted her and signed the paper. I was a little upset but I understood there was a lot of miscommunication and my husband should have looked at the paper. A lady came and talked to me and helped. I proceeded too call the manager on the way home to inform him nicely that even though people sign things, it would be a good idea to make sure his staff clearly explains things before people sign something, as they were very confusing. He was very rude and did not try and help at all. Blamed us over and over very disrespectfully. All I was trying to do is help future trusting customers not be in this situation. I will not be using this PetSmart again do to how rude Jeff the manager was. (Not because of the miscommunication) you should NEVER speak to a customer the way he did to me. If I could give zero stars, I would. My puppy ended up wounded and traumatized. I took my seven month old puppy to the groomers at this pet smart around 11 am. After four hours or so (when they said my dog would be ready) we hadn't gotten a call or an update about our dog so we decide to call. For starters they said that my dog had been mad because he did not like the dryer, so it would take a little longer which was understandable since it was his second time at a groomers. About an hour later, no call, so I decide to go and check on my pet myself, only to see him barely getting his hair trimmed but the strange thing was that he was simply looking straight forward and shaking. We didn't think much since our older dog gets nervous at the groomers too. An hour after that (6 hours after my dog was dropped off), we finally got a call that my dog was ready. We pick him up and all, and as soon as we got home I realized that he had internal bleeding on his right eye that had to come from some sort of trauma. Furious, we call the store and demand to speak to a manager where they told us to take the dog to a clinic and that they would cover the cost. So after taking my dog to the emergency clinic, the vet let's us know that the hematoma in his eye was caused by choking or lack of oxygen. Seriously? I drop off my puppy just for him to be neglected and mistreated? Trust me when I say that we gave them hell the next day they opened. We spoke to another manager and told her how ridiculous it is for that to happen to my dog because it was NEGLECT. I got my money back and all she said was "we check the dogs often to make sure they're okay". Bullshit! My dog would've had to be choked or not have been able to breathe for something that severe to happen. Keep in mind my dog could've lost his eyesight because of that. I'm never going back, if you want to risk your pets safety, go ahead and drop them off here. Beyond pissed at the mistreatment to the animals. read more

I took my dog here just once to be groomed, and they did an ok job on him. But I will never take him back for any reason. I was recently contacted about the grooming department and what really goes on. The groomers have to sign confidentiality forms. Really what for? Possibly for the abuse that goes on, yes I said abuse. Male groomer actually chocking a dog because he wouldn't behave. Two pugs dead at the Frisco petsmart, law suits at several locations. I'm not at all giving this place any stars but I have to in order to post. Dogs are treated very badly by the groomers, yelled at, dropped, cut and totally stressed out! Go in and watch on the surface it looks like they care but if you stay around long enough it be hid and if a dog is being difficult than it goes to the back. I have seen people watching and they look horrified, what pushed me over the edge was when the guy in there had his hands wrapped around the neck of a dog and said this will calm him down, nothing like the loss of air to make them behave. read more

After standing and waiting, with two large dogs, for them to stop chatting with one person I finally go in and all magically everyone disappeared. I had to call out several times, could even here them talking about their night in the back before someone finally came in. Then after sitting through the check in process, again waiting with two large dogs, during they refuse to take my elderly dog because of his medication. At this point I just gave up and walked out. All the people were young and did not appear to be interested in the animals or customer service. The person who booked my appointment should have disclosed the medication policy...I had even mentioned my dog and concern of how they would treat him. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but I used to work at a grooming shop and the reputation was always bad here, so to me it appears like nothing has changed. I have been using this PetSmart location for a long time for their grooming services. However, I will no longer take my dog there. The staff have been incredibly rude and I no longer trust them to care for my dog while grooming her. The woman who checked my dog in pushed my dog along the floor to get her to walk (she was scared and wouldn't) which I didn't appreciate. Another girl was to groom her so wasn't worried but when I picked her up, found out this same girl who pushed my dog groomed her. I was very upset.They were supposed to use hypo-allergenic shampoo because my dog broke out in a rash previously and they didn't. I had to put my dog on Benadryl to combat the rash. And then the woman who groomed my dog refused to get her from the back when I picked her up. She forced another employee to go get her. I called the store manager and she seemed less than concerned about my complaints. I will never go back nor will I be inclined to shop at PetSmart based on my treatment. read more
