The nail trimmer lady that worked on my corgi could use some major customer service training. She was not very friendly at all! She was very cold & aside from highlighting where to initial, sign & date, she didn't tell me what to do with the paperwork or where I should wait or anything. She just took my dog & went to her station. I had to ask a person who was working on a dog next to the check-in area. He was very nice. When I went to pick up my dog, the person pretty much dumped him on me & turned away. I asked if he was good & she just said that he was ok. I watched him a little from outside the window & he appeared to be very well-behaved, i just wanted to be sure so I could take him back again, as this was our 1st time. Terrible service on 8/15/26. Took them a very long time to even acknowledge me while I waited even though no one else was waiting. I purchased a deluxe package and it took them only an hour and 5-10 minutes to complete. This was supposed to be with 20 extra minutes of brushing. They originally told me 2-3 hours. Then when I went to pick up my dog same thing, I waited while they ignored me, then told me that the invoice was at the register. I went and waited in line to pay and the invoice was not there! The person on the register had to go pick it up in the grooming room! So I pay, then go back to get my dog and was again IGNORED while they went about their business, did not even look up to say they would be with me soon or anything! Another dog owner came in to drop off and they immediately greeted them and asked their dog's name. I about lost it. I said "I'm here to pick up my dog!, what's the problem?" One of the groomers told the gal to call a manager, still no response to my question. Waited some more. Another 3-4 minutes go by and finally I asked "Is there a problem with my dog?!" I was starting to wonder if they had killed her or something! The gal finally said that they can't leave the other dogs alone to get my dog. (She had a dog on a leash). Ok well is there a reason you couldn't even acknowledge my presence not one but three different times??!! By the time they finally got my dog I was furious. Pet Grooming The grooming staff who were working with the large brindle dog attempting to trim his nail, I am disgusted by how you treated that dog. I watched for about 5 minutes of this poor dog trashing, trying to bite, and being so reactive while the woman with the blonde braid and tan glasses kept pushing to perform services. They were actively trying to get away and bite and you persisted. It wasn't even my dog and I so heart broken by how he was treated. Yelling at home and then trying to shout positive things to distract him wasn't the way to go. As a veterinary professional who works with highly reactive or anxious dog you should have stopped and let his parents know that he needs a break or possible something to help him be a bit more calm or something so that he doesn't associate you with such a negative memory. read more

I've been using the hotel for my dogs a couple of times. It's close to the house and convenient to pick up the dogs when I'm coming from the airport. The last two times, my younger dog came back home super stressed and acting like had a very bad time in that place. I was told I will get updates daily about my dogs and never got a thing. It seems like my dogs are all the time in the suite and they don't get to play with other dogs. One of them came with diarrhea and they didn't mentioned anything about it. Of course you can see the color of the fur in the back of the dog. I was very disappointed, and all they did was a discount to cover the bad way they are treating the dogs. This will be the last time I'll bring my dogs to this place. The employees lie and they don't seem to be pet loving people. Maybe I've stepped into the twilight zone of rudeness towards me.. This Petsmart is the closest place to me that sells my cats food. I always enjoy walking to the back to say hello to the dogs in the back and the kitties waiting to be adopted. But today the workers seemed to be done with the day. I waved to the dogs in the back and I had the worker in the back scold me, I don't think I've been scolded since I was a kid. I'm pretty sure a dog had peed in her cheerios that morning with how mad she was at my wave to the cute little dogs. Hope she's okay, because she's living my dream life of being around animals. While checking out the cashier nearly killed my crickets with shaken-cricket-syndrome. Throwing them around and under the cat food. I mean, I get they are feeder crickets but I'm sure my gecko (pickles) would like to have them make it to them alive. Anyways, weird experience today. If I could give them a zero, I would they literally butchered my dog, took him an hour and a half to give him a bath and then when I called, they said it'd be another 2 to 3 hours. I'm like are you kidding me? I dropped him off at 2 o'clock. This was 330. I was so disgusted. I was like well. I'll just come and pick up my dog. I can't go that long. You told me an hour or so that was good but I can't go 4 1/2 hours and it doesn't take that long every time I've taken him there. It's been like an hour or a little over that and I asked him specifically what to do. He's an older dog 15 years old he's blind he has a heart murmur of three but he's very good dog so when I went back in to pick him up, I took my video recorder with me and I was like wow it took you an hour and a half just to bathe my dog and then it's gonna take you another three hours to clip him and she told me over the phone while we're already clipper clipper him I'm like well you need to stop because I'm picking him up. I don't have all that time and when I went in, they were so nasty and rude and when they brought my dog back to me had gouges in the front where they missed him with a clipper they clipped around his neck. He was shaking when I picked him up and his bottom paw was bleeding. I tried to get a hold of their corporate office, but yet that doesn't work so great either I spoke to somebody over the phone, I explained the situation told him about how discussing it was him when I got there there was literally only one dog in the place that they were grooming and there was probably I don't know 56 people and I asked I go well who's the manager and she was standing right there as I was speaking when I went to pick up my dog, but she didn't speak up to anything she just stood there and I was like oh Great all you people standing around, but it's gonna take another three hours for my dog to get his haircut and I told him you know I thought it was bad the last time when I brought my terrier in here and you clipped them all the way down to the skin when I didn't ask you To, and literally ripped off the mole and tore blood. This time was just as bad we're talking about an older dog 15 years old he's blind, but he's a very good dog and they're standing around doing nothing but yet they're gonna make me wait another three hours and the fact that I picked him up and they tore her off around his neck and on his front head there's patches where they nicked them with some neck trimmers I was like oh my God do not take your pets there. They are the least empathetic Pet place I've ever come across. Be safe. Keep your pets away from there. This is not a good place and these are not nice people. and my dogs a male apologize for saying she, but this is disgusting. My poor dog is traumatized. He's got one eye where there's no fur around it and the other one eye has fur around it and around his neck they tried to clip it, and then they knocked them out twice on the top of his head with the neck trimmers right down to the skin. PetSmart Grooming - Groomer: Shey' enne I called PetSmart grooming and spoke to Shey'enne on Friday at the PetSmart on Johnson Creek. Blvd. on April 25th. I made an appointment to get my dog, Izzy's nails cut and dremeled.on Sunday, April 27th at 10:30. I reminded her of my dog's arthritis and that she can't walk but a few feet and then stumbles. Izzy has a very sweet demeanor and it used to being handled and picked up. She said that was no problem and that I could bring her in. Izzy has been going there for a long time and her arthritis was noted in her file. Whoever grooms her is always so sweet and nice. I got there today for my appointment and Shey'enne made Izzy try to walk through the front gate!! We had already discussed that on my call on Friday. Not only does Izzy have bad arthritis but the floors are so SLICK and SHINY that she couldn't walk through the gate. Shey'enne told me she wouldn't be able to cut her nails!! I asked her why she told me it was okay to bring her in after our lengthy conversation about Izzy's arthritis on Friday, and the fact that she told me that it was okay to bring her in on Sunday!! Our conversation was clear and concise and there was no misunderstanding. Why did she change her mind? We discussed this thoroughly on Friday. She would not answer me. Izzy has been going there for quite a some time to get her nails cut, not to mention all the money I spend at PetSmart. I am absolutely livid. Had I put a towel down she might have been able to walk about 5 ft. After she told me one thing and did another, I am so upset and disappointed. I've only tried to cut my dog's nails once and it wasn't a good experience for my dog or for me. I'm at a loss four words right now. Shame on Shey'enne. My golden retriever loves it here. Everyone is so nice and they all know him and say hello. And they go out of their way to make him happy. I wish I could bring him here all the time! It's great socialization. I've also gone through three training classes with two dogs and am so grateful, since my dog is a giant and really strong. I highly recommend buying the pass card. It reduces the cost per day and if you buy 10 days, you get a free day. 20 days gets you two free days. Thursdays are party days with a theme, treat options, and their pic posted to the location Instagram account. I take my pup to the Doggie Daycare on most Thursdays. Grubi loves it there. He even comes home with a report card talking about his day. The staff all know him by name and he rewards their greetings with typical boxer wiggle butt excitement. Grubi comes home worn out from running around like a fiend and almost always often asleep in the car on the way home and his energy is a lot less frenetic for a couple of days after. I'm really grateful I followed Dana's suggestion to sign Grubi up for training classes. His trainer, Jake, seems to really understand Grubi's high energy, trouble focusing, fun loving personality. He makes suggestions that are individual to Grubi, which helps me to feel successful and more confident during the at home practice. Skills learned in class are reinforced when Grubi goes to daycare because training communicates with daycare/hotel about Grubi's progress. read more

After dealing with them for over 4yrs, I've had multiple prescriptions sent from the pharmacy to Banfield for refills and never once have they filled them on time...not once. And every time I call, over 30x, they give you the same excuse. Oh, we didn't get the fax. This is the same excuse ever single time. They are liars...period. If I could give this zero stars I would. This was the absolute worst haircut my Goldendoodle has ever had. The only reason I came here was because I had a good experience with the Bend, OR location but lesson learned they are not all equal. It was way overpriced and for terrible work. They took 4.5 hours and they charged me double for de-matting but he has no hair now so not sure what exactly they de-matted? He has gotten plenty of haircuts and I always ask the groomer to get rid of his matted spots and if they need to go short they can. I have never had a problem with this request before but this time they just shaved him bald instead of a short doodle cut. He went in looking like a doodle and came out looking like a GSP... or some other completely different breed. If it was just a communication issue about what "short" meant I would have gotten over it because hair grows back but what's even more infuriating than his haircut is that he has been depressed ever since he got home. He has never had any issues with his demeanor until now. He has literally been crying and shaking for two days, he isn't sleeping through the night, his ears keep twitching, he sits down while he walks, he randomly kicks his feet while he's laying down, he wont play with his toys, and cowers at everything now. I have no idea what they did to him but he is depressed and not his usually happy energetic self. I am disgusted by this service and wish I would have read up on reviews first because looks like I'm not alone in my experiences. read more

I have been a long time customer of Petsmart. I purchase my prescription dog food there and have done dog training there as well. Today I made a call to the grooming department to make an appointment for my dog. I explained my dog was suffering from full glands and because my vet is closed, I wasn't able to get him in there. I needed someone to simply express his glands. They provided me an appointment and that was good. I then drove 20 minutes away to make the appointment, however, upon my checking in, was told I needed a copy of his rabies vaccination or they couldn't touch him. Nobody told me of this requirement. My dog is fully licensed and I could prove that but without a record, they wouldn't take care of him I then went next door to the Banfield Hospital to explain the situation and again, advised I was unable to provide a rabies vaccination because the vet is closed on Sunday. Again, I explained my dog was in distress but they wouldn't assist me either. Because they cared so little about the welfare of my dog, and failed to advise me of this requirement, I not only wasted my time but my dog was not assisted. Petsmart has lost a customer who spent at least $100 every 3-4 weeks for prescription food and snacks. I hope that people realize there are repercussions for their actions, or lack thereof. I will never step foot in another Petsmart ever again. read more

They have always gotten my Aussie in and out of the groomers with in an hour with a bath and brush and Top dog plus. They were also super friendly when I was asking questions about what option would be best when my dog had a flare up with allergies. They always have trimmed my dogs nails nicely with no bleeding. They also always check if I would like any areas trimmed up on her because she does have some long fur in areas and the trim always turns out well. My dog was also always extremely excited every time she realized she was going into the groomers here showing me that they take good care of my dog while she's in. read more

Although, my pets have all passed sadly enough, I have always liked Pet Smart. They have such a variety of services from doggie daycare to pet food sales and veterinarian services and pet adoption services (mainly cats), and they also sell small domestic pets such as ferrrets and rabbits and reptiles. I'm not sure about aquarium fish. Folks are very welcome to bring their own leashed pets in, and this is delightful to experience, particularly with the doggy daycare in session. Although I mainly purchased cat food here as well as cat toys, I recommend this venue because of the friendliness of the staff members and the kindnessl towards the incoming animals exhibited. We made an appointment to have our border collie groomed. We opted for the Bath & Brush. Our main concerns were to have his anal glands expressed and his nails clipped. He will not let us clip his nails at all. He sheds a lot and had a bit of matted fur on his hind legs. We explained this to Ezra upon arrival. He was so nice and knowledgeable and recommended we upgrade to the conditioning treatment on his mats (Extra $8). 1.5 hours later, we picked him up and omg he was so fluffy and shiny and HAPPY! I was worried he'd be upset having never been groomed before. Ezra said he was totally fine, even when clipping his nails. The mats were completely gone and when you pet him, no hair comes off! It's been 1 week and you can still smell the conditioner on him. Smells DEVINE. I highly recommend Ezra and Petsmart grooming. Will definitely be bringing him back. read more

This is my go to location for aquatic supplies!! They almost always have specials on fish. I go in weekly to check out the 1/2 price aquatic plant shelf. I have found quite a few plants that would of cost $10 to $15 but needed a little TLC. I have a green thumb so it's something I can recommend to people who have the time to give them a little more attention to a plant for a couple days they usually adjust for me in 3-4 days back to health. The often have the OFS in and if your lucky to be there when they are you should definitely take home a ferret they are very fun animals and I miss mine very much, when I feel up to getting another this will be were I head. read more

This comes from a licensed psychologist and certified canine trainer myself (as well as the Director of animal rescue). This was the 3rd set of intermediate classes following the first two, which my puppy graduated from without any issues. The two previous trainers were excellent and I highly commend them. However, the trainer at this facility is the worst I have ever encountered. She is soft spoken (can't hear her) doesn't look up at the class while talking and could care less about avoiding conflicts where she seats students or her students mannerisms like growling, tail unfurled, and ears at their side. My puppy was attacked by another dog at two classes in a row which could have been easily avoided if she sat us somewhere else. Avoid at all costs! read more

There was dog hair and urine all the way out where customers check in. When I said something, the lady sitting at the desk said "yep we have been pretty busy today." My reply was "you have been so busy you cant take two minutes to sweep up?" Her response was that they had cleaned several times that day already. Another young employee also stated "yep, we have been really busy". I took a picture and went to find the manager. He started making excuses as well. I interrupted him and told him I really didn't want to hear excuses. I stated if they can call me to come in early because the person sitting at the counter had open spots, then the person sitting at the counter had a couple minutes to clean up. The grooming people are really nice. We didn't have an appointment but they took us anyway for a nail clipping and were very kind and gentle. Because it was her first time and she's a puppy, they did it for free! Great way to get return business, we will definitely go back. They do ask for an up to date rabies shot, so either bring proof or they will call your vet for you. Even though PETCO and Petsmart in Clackamas are similar in their services and goods, the staff and interaction with customers and animals are very different. This review is only for the Bissell carpet cleaner rentals. My dog had a couple of accidents in my house and I'm not ready to buy one for my own. I've used other brand of carpet steam cleaners (you know the ones) and they never did quite what I needed. The Bissell carpet cleaner did a great job on my mattress and carpet, I would definitely suggest this for those that have stains only occasionally. The only unfortunate thing was I bought waaaay too much cleaner. The store clerk wasn't really helpful in this aspect, so hit me up if you need some liquid cleaner! The very next day we were hit with big snow storm that then made it impossible for me to pick up by day 3 of their order pick up window. I called the store on day 3 and asked for 1 more day to pick up as snow was expected to melt enough for me to travel then. They said no problem they would put a note on it saying I would be coming to pick up still. The very next morning I received email saying I missed my 3 day window and product returned and account being credited.Problem is I used $30 in treats rewards to bring down purchase price and they credited amount left that was charged bu t didn't credit back my $30 treats reward earned. I emailed company 2 times, once being told it would be credited after 24 hours and then 5 days later after not happening I was told there wouldn't be a credit back because you lose your treats rewards when a return occurs. I didn't return they did after an agreement was made. Horrible way to treat a customer!!!! read more
