Maddie is ABSOLUTELY amazing. She spent like an hour to hour an half telling me everything I needed for my fish tank and what I need to do first and what I shouldn't do. She listened to all my questions and concerns and explained absolutely everything! She was absolutely incredible. Definitely can tell she cares for all the fishes and other animals and wants the best for them!

Autumn the groomer shaved our dog including her tail siting she had stickers. Her whole body did NOT have stickers nor was she matted all over including her haunches. It may take up to a year for our Goldendoodle to get her feathers back and her face is messed up plus her tail was cut, she started bleeding but we did not find where blood was coming from around our house for a day. The worst groomer ever. We are not going back to petsmart. They need to test their groomers.

My dog expressed on my bed 3 days after grooming and specifically asked to pay attention to this

Very hit and miss some times my dogs seem clean I've had times where I couldn't smell anything. Sometimes nails done well sometimes egh. I specifically go in for nails and expression because my girl has a problem with this and 3 days after grooming she eeked on my bed. I won't be coming back for $50 a pup I can wash them my self. London was the groomer.

I have a 150 lb. Newfoundland who, although is a sweetheart, doesn't exactly enjoy sitting still for hours on end. He doesn't love being washed or get his haircut and moves around an awful lot. So I know he is a bit of a pain for the groomers, but Jenni did an absolutely incredible job. His looks the best I've ever seen, and she was so kind to both of us even though she just spent three hours wrestling a bear haha. I highly recommend these groomers, and super appreciate Jenni in particular.

Really love that this one is close to our place! Makes having to go here, or dropping our baby off for a grooming really easy. Their grooming prices are reasonably priced and they do a decent job. I just don't like that sometimes, I pay extra for nail grinding and they don't do a very good job with that part. The nail cutting also, isn't very good. So sometimes, I just end up doing it myself back at home. They do a very good job cleaning and washing him though. They also need to work on drying my dog more. I've gotten him back a few times where he was still very damp. Otherwise, all the workers are very nice and friendly! They really do their best to help you and answer any of your questions :) They also have affordable dog training classes. They were fun for both husband and I, and our dog. It's a great way to socialize your dog with other dogs. I just wish we did more training back at home! He did remember a handful of the commands though! Kayla was our trainer and she was great with all the dogs, big and small!

After the pandemic my pup was a mess and regular groomer was booked solid. Jason did a great and compassionate job with my nervous pup. He took extra time when m dogs patience and cooperation went out the window.

Sulley waiting patiently for his "spa" appointment with Shay.

This review is for the grooming department. I scheduled a bath/brush online for my German Shepherd mix, Sulley. The scheduling was easy & I got an appt for him the following day. Sulley had professional grooming before at another place, but he didn't love the experience. I have to say I was very impressed with these lovely gals at Petsmart grooming. Yesterday, I met with Jenni & gave her Sulley's shot record. She was very friendly & personable and gave Sulley some loving pets. Today, when I took Sulley in for his appt, I saw Jenni again & the very nice groomer, Shay. Shay was amazing. She got to know Sulley a bit & looked him over, gave him some affectionate pets, & she talked very soothing to him to put him at ease. That was very impressive to me. I've always just had the groomer take my pup in the back, without trying to calm his nerves. Shay took extra time with Sulley & she used sensitive skin shampoo & conditioner on my little man. I was very pleased when I picked up my fresh & clean pup! Thank you Shay & Jenni for making Sulley's first experience at Petsmart grooming a very pleasant one. My sweet boy will definitely be coming back regularly. :)

Completely out of stock on Simply Nourish canned dog food except for one case of tuna and salmon-- hope my babies like it.

Not many trainers would be willing to do things like donating classes, board and training dogs and more. 10/10

I couldn't be more pleased! Boris is a backyard bred corso I rescued and he has many of the temperament issues that go along with that such as overstimulation and reactivity. As he's gotten older they have come up and become hard for me to manage. Trevor assessed him and was immediately able to zero in on the behavior! When we went to pick up Boris Trevor spent over an hour working with us to teach us how to better manage the behavior as well as go over what Boris had learned. One of the issues we were having was keeping him focused if an off leash dog was around, using the skills we were taught as well as what Boris had learned, when a dog approached us Boris ignored the dog and we were able to continue peacefully. What a pleasure to be able to enjoy a walk without having to be on alert! Complete game changer to be able to enjoy your dog. Now Boris is ready to go for the advanced CGC and we will surely be involving Trevor in that process.

We went onto do 3 levels of classes with him. Classes were hands down the best investment we made for him, and he went on to live a wonderful fear-free life. I attribute his high quality of life to his basic training classes and the time we put in when he was a puppy. He learned from a very young age how to settle and be calm in lots of different situations. He learned to trust our directions which kept him safe. Puppy social is in my opinion one of the best classes to put a young puppy in. They get to meet other dogs and people in a safe environment, and the puppies teach each other soft bite and learn how to be social. We recently brought a new puppy into our lives. I love the structure of Pjs classes where your puppy is with the same dogs for the 6-week duration. The happy little puppies can all see each other during the class at Pjs, no barriers (unless required to reduce stress of the pet). I like the scaffolding approach that PJs classes offer. You build the dogs' confidence and skills up in a logical way for them to learn. Plus, the puppies are all watching each other learn the same things. It's adorable. Our new puppy has done several levels of classes at Pjs' beautiful new facility in Sparks and HE LOVES IT. He just completed his AKC Canine Good Citizen, we can now consider therapy work down the road with him. He is so excited to get in the door for any play group I take him to and to his classes. We absolutely loved Rally O with Susie, she is amazing. We have referred Susie to friends with some rescues for consultations and they have been super happy. We will complete all the classes PJ dog training offers, because our dog just loves to learn, he really likes to use his brain. He exudes happiness when we get to class. Thank you, PJ and Susie, for helping us raise a happy confident dog yet again and offering such great classes. Highly recommend Pjs, they have so much experience and are CCPTD certified. They also give you time at the beginning of any class for a quick discussion on any "challenge areas". You learn so much to help you understand your dog's behavior. All classes use positive reinforcement. You learn to build a trusting relationship with your furry family members from a place of respect and love. The facility is always so clean, and they take excellent care in making sure your puppies are safe and not exposed to any bugs. We have never had any problems. 10 stars from us!!

What could improve? EVERYTHING!…read more After procrastinating a good fit for my Cane Corso and I, we chose Sit Means Sit, as all those advertisements and 5 star reviews were quite deceiving. I made an appointment for an evaluation had a great conversation and so far I was very much convinced this was the place for my reactive dog and I. Well little to know it was going to be worst decision and place I could have chosen for my dog and I. I came to this facility due to having a reactive dog. I started back in March it is now June and I still sit at home with a reactive dog limiting the places I can take him. It's absurd! I followed all the procedures even after the 2 week training. Which all that was done during training were obedience commands. While I brought my pet for reactivity?? Ok, moving forward group classes were next. There I am as a good dog mom taking him and processing with such. Just to have some people who have not showed up in months get all the attention with their reactive dog. It is unfair and injustice! While I had been patiently waiting for the help. It also doesn't sound right when I had to constantly beg for the help my dog needs. I paid for the service I should get the help without having to beg for it. Not sure why I wasn't treated or got the help like all the other clients? It is confirmed that their specialty are not dogs who are reactive like mine.(Cane Corso) It is just false advertisement when they say they can help you with any kind of dog breed. If the facility Sit Means Sit did not have the capability of helping me with my pet. I should have been told so at the evaluation, or yet I should have been only charged for they advising me to buy a E collar and figure the rest out on my own. To concluded my review I'm highly disappointed, dissatisfied, and now discouraged since I put in lots of time, effort, energy and money. Now losing thousands of dollars and not getting what I paid for is frustrating!

As a large pit mix I'd rescued, these issues were super demoralizing and we were scared Bo would someday hurt someone, despite our constant vigilance. Plus his world had gotten super small because I couldn't trust taking him to the places we used to hang in public. Anyway, after the meet and greet we went with a moderate board and train program. And then it didn't start as smoothly as we all hoped. Not because of their team, Bo was just more aggressive and reactive than he'd displayed during the meet and greet. Was it disappointing - absolutely, but most important was Stand Proud were having the difficult conversation with us about what Bo needed. We all came up with a plan that set Bo up for success, and they made sure it was something we were comfortable with. Since then, it's been a journey, but the results are remarkable and they've been so invested in his success. He's got a strong grasp on place and sit until released, and even off-leash skills and recall. He's also much more comfortable regulating himself and waiting for guidance when he's unsure. We're so much more confident and proud of the goofball. Thanks Stand proud team!

Taking him for a walk was a struggle as no amount of coaxing would keep him from pulling. The biggest problem was that his fear of other dogs would have him acting defensively. This often led him to him pulling us to the ground. Taking him for a walk was an ongoing challenge to which we adapted and accepted. After 4 years of living amicably with our other older bulldog, Vinnie began to be aggressive towards him. We were on the verge of turning him over to the Humane Society and then we found Danielle, Brandon and their team. The fee for their services and the length of time Vinnie would be away caused us to be reluctant to book their services. A few phone conversations and emails led us to an evaluation appointment at their home and facility in Fernly. Brandon and Danielle spent more than hour explaining everything to us. They both exhibited the qualities we look for in any professional. They presented their background explained their program clearly and simply, and answered all our questions. We had conserns about their training tools but were reassured with Brandon's detailed explanation. They have a large air conditioned kennel with spacious cages, large fenced in yard bordering a large open space. The staff we met were friendly. They were absolutely clear that their residential training is all about building a foundation and that success is dependent on how well we do our job as dog owners. We then observed one of local classes they provide all around Reno/Sparks. The trainer at the class exhibited all of the same qualities we saw in the owners. The dogs in the class were incredibly well behaved. We then booked a 4 week board and train program. When we picked up Vinnie, his behavior had improved 1,000%. Abby, his superb trainer spent 3 hours with us explaining what they did and walking us through what we needed to be doing moving forward. Brandon came by our house about a week later and spent over an hour with us answering our questions and reinforcing the guidance from Abby. Upon taking him home, he has not exhibited any aggression towards our other dog and our walks are more controlled and pleasant. With board and train you are able to attend classes for up to a year. We are excited to attend our first class with Vinnie soon. While we do not expect everything to be perfect, everyone's life has improved, We are grateful to the Stand Proud team and highly recommend them.

I was considering switching trainers but Brigette claimed she had a world class obedience course and to consider doing that via her boarding. I was promised regular updates/videos, but that did not happen. There was little info in the few videos provided-so I am unsure how the videos were to help me when my pup came home, especially since she changed how we were training in 1:1 sessions (added correction collars). Without updates, it felt like my pup was just being boarded-rather than trained. I suspect after learning more about the Brigette's schedule-that may have been the case. My pup did not timely respond to any command she gave. My dog walked in with more control with me, then when leaving on a leash with Brigette. Further, I found it upsetting while I was doing things in a positive way at home per her advice, Brigette quickly moved to E-collar training in boarding-without communication as to why and targets intended with the new device. Since she did not provide updates on how she used the E-collar, and it also had not been used in any 1:1 training, I feel the entire "training" was a waste of time and money. Last but certainly not least, I feel my dog was worse upon coming home, exhibiting some behaviors not seen prior to boarding. I am walking around with my dog on a leash at all times (including in the home) given she didn't communicate what training she did, and how she used training tools. It didn't help that Brigette used different command names and then didn't tell me that either, so my pup had little chance to generalize anything. If my dog had shown improvement, and not actually come home worse in my opinion, that would be one thing but alas, the entire expensive process from 1:1 training, to a board/train was just a huge waste in my opinion. Buyer Beware.
