A freshly groomed red husky dog

While I really hate how petsmart and petco treat their fishes and birds (keeping them in small confined spaces), I did need to get my pup groomed here a few times and they did amazing with her each time. The groomers at this petsmart are so nice and in particular we really love Hanan (I think that's her name? Hopefully I spelled it right.) She's been absolutely incredible with our dog each time and is so patient and so gentle with her. If you go to this place to get your pup groomed, I believe they'll be in very good hands.

Beginninger class with Marla- happy graduate!

After exploring different options, we decided to try the beginner doggie classes for our then 5 month old lab. It was a six week class that gave me an opportunity to better understand ways to nip unwanted behaviors and practice some of the tips at the store. I would highly recommend Marla! She was able to offer timely feedback and she was very patient with our high energy dog Taro. By the end of class, Taro (my pup) was able to stay focused throughout the class, follow basic commands, and was even loose leash walking like a pro. Granted, we still need more practice with manners around other dogs and people, the six week growth is undeniable :) Something to consider for other pet parents- they even offer a free in person assessment of your dog to better guide you which class is a better fit. Our overall experience was very positive. Even the other associates were welcoming and made us more confident when bringing in our bundle of energy.

Someone saw Hanan today for a bath. She's the best. Definitely frenchie approved. I trust her to care for my girl. She did a great job on trimming her nails too.

This is AFTER the grooming. They didn't clip any of my dog's paw hair or nails at all, which is what I paid for

I've come here about 5 times in the past but I won't be coming back. First and foremost, my dog is an extremely gentle golden retriever and not hard to groom at all. She loves people, goes in public every day, and is not easily spooked. I have groomed her myself in the past but I have to pay for the service now after a neck injury made it too hard for me to bend over her like that. Last time I came, I dropped my dog off at her grooming and then didn't hear back from them for 4 hours when they'd told me they would call me. I went over there to see what was going on, and when I arrived, they told me they hadn't started my dog. So they finished up and THEN started my dog. What was the purpose of me making the appointment then? When I finally got my dog, she was absolutely terrified, her nails were not clipped at all, and I didn't receive the extra items I had paid for (there was a Halloween promotion that they upsold me on). I vowed not to go back. I hadn't been there for about a year, but I noticed my dog really needed her feet clipped, nails trimmed, and she had some tiny poop specks in her tail so I decided to take her in. I wrote this in the online portal, and I booked her a bath for $45 that included paw grooming (they no longer offered pawdicures). Dropped her off, explained again about the paws and poop in the tail by literally lifting my dog's tail to show them, and the (different than last time) person said 1.5-2 hours and that they would call me when my dog was ready. I never heard from them after 2 hours so I popped in and picked her up. I was not about to let my dog slip through the cracks like last time. I was charged $50 without explanation after having booked a $45 service. Paid it, tipped $15, got my dog, left. When I got home I looked at my dog and saw what's in these pictures. These pictures are from AFTER the grooming, and they let me pick her up like this. None of her paws had been groomed and she still has all of the poop specks in her tail. That was the entire purpose of me bringing her in. So really the endeavor was useless and a total waste of $65. I will never be back.

County tax city, tax tax, special tax, special state tax Get out of here with all of this ! thin they mark the items on special lol but you end up paying so much more bad business practices ! The price was supposed to be $10 With all the taxes it was four dollars more ! Total 14$

Chick with the blue hair being ride to another customer. Lack of professionalism etc...

Used to be a friendly place to bring my animals but lately they have some reason decided to start being rude and and threatening to call animal control on my animals. I should not feel threatened bringing my animals to a pet store. There has got to be something that is said. Chick with the blue hair was rude and threatened my dogs... they're supposed to be hospitable for animals!!!

My review of this place is simple. Staff here is very very nice and they never run out of our brand of dog food. My kids love coming to buy dog food just to peek at the lizards and snakes.

Don't Believe the False Facebook Posts - Epic Dog Academy Is the Real Deal…read more I need to share my experience because there's a lot of misinformation going around about Epic Dog Academy. If you've seen those Facebook posts linking them to animal abuse - please, don't believe them. I fell for those rumors myself at first, and I want to make sure no one else makes the same mistake. I had signed my dog, Obi-Wan, up for the two-week training program and was so excited. But right after I told a friend, she sent me a Facebook group filled with terrible claims about EDA. I panicked and immediately called to cancel. Vincent, the owner, was incredibly understanding and patient. He explained that all those claims were false and even showed me proof - including records exposing the people behind the posts as having serious legal and credibility issues, but even though I already paid and signed all the paperwork - he still immediately refunded me my payment to give me time to do additional research. This is something he could have pushed back on but didn't, which really showed me what a kind and understanding business this was. Even so, I made sure to do my own research before forming any opinions. What I found was truly alarming: the main individual behind that Facebook group has a documented history of serious issues, including animal cruelty charges (all public record). His daughter once briefly worked with Vince - the owner of Epic Dog Academy - many years ago at a completely separate business. Shortly after, Vince left to establish Epic Dog Academy with his wife, Olivia. To be clear, the two individuals who now run that Facebook group have no real connection to Epic Dog Academy. The false claims they're spreading about the owner are completely unfounded and unsupported by any evidence, plus most of the negative comments appear to come from people associated with them. Once I realized the truth, I re-enrolled Obi-Wan - this time in their day training program. I drop him off in the morning and pick him up in the afternoon. It gave me total peace of mind to see him daily, and I can confidently say that not only is he perfectly fine - he's thriving. The results have been beyond my expectations. Obi-Wan listens better than ever, he's happier, and he actually gets excited to go every morning. Erin, his trainer, is absolutely phenomenal. She's patient, knowledgeable, and keeps me updated every day with photos and progress reports through their app. Christy at the front desk is another gem - her warmth and understanding make every drop-off and pick-up a breeze. Every single person I've interacted with at Epic Dog Academy truly loves what they do, and it shows. They treat every dog like their own. I can say with complete confidence that my dog is safe, happy, and receiving the best possible training here. Please do yourself a favor - don't let false online rumors stop you from giving EDA a chance. Check things out for yourself. I'm so glad I did, because Epic Dog Academy has completely transformed my dog's behavior and confidence. It's been worth every single penny (and I signed up for the Honor program!) I have given EDA permission to share my number with anyone who is hesitant to sign up. I'd be happy to share my experience with you if needed. -- Pictures of Obi-Wan were sent to me through the EDA app during his day training!

Before training, Forrest was a very playful and excitable pup who struggled with focus and discipline. He was easily distracted, didn't consistently follow commands, and had trouble behaving appropriately around children and other dogs. After spending two weeks with Elaine, our amazing trainer, Forrest came home a completely transformed dog! He's now obedient, focused, and confident -- even in high-distraction environments like parks and public places. He mastered six core commands and continues to respond beautifully to them at home. Elaine truly is a "dog whisperer." She's local (Murrieta), which made drop-off and pickup super convenient, and she went above and beyond to keep us updated. We received daily videos and photos showing Forrest's progress -- we looked forward to them every day and loved watching his transformation in real time. Our Golden Retriever puppy, Maple, was out of control with biting, destroying everything from her blankets, her toys, our backyard landscape, and even the walls and base molding around the house. We tried to take her on walks but she would pull us around the neighborhood, and every little distraction scared her to death. We've owned four other Goldens in the past and never experienced this kind of wild behavior. Then came Ryan... he assured us that this behavior could be corrected with the right leadership, so we signed up for his two-week boot camp experience. The two weeks seemed like forever but when he brought her home she was our same familiar Maple but oh what a difference in her demeanor and behavior. Then Ryan followed up with us a week later and he reviewed with us all of our challenges that we were still experiencing. We quickly realized the problem wasn't Maple, it was us. Lots of little details like how to properly sync the electronic collar with the clicker, and keeping our finger on the clicker button so that we could engage it in a timely manner, etc. Once we got the hands-on training that we needed, Maple has transformed into a sweet, calm and well-behaved Golden Retriever. Thanks Ryan for your expertise and your expert training techniques. Ryan really understands how to train your dog in a positive manner so that you can reward their good behavior instead of reacting to the dog's misbehavior. Now we're looking forward to our weekly Saturday morning park instructions with several other dogs and all kinds of normal distractions that Maple will have to deal with when we take her out for walks, fun and play.
