PetSmart took my dog in for grooming,2-nd time Samantha J didn't bother to inform me anything about her eye prior or after just simply handed me my dog, I asked if her eye was just irritated from soap she said oh she must of scratched herself, I took her to emergency vet the very next morning I was told her third eye prolapse (cherry eye) she will need to get surgery to correct her eye. I would like to see a footage of the grooming service, clearly something did happen my dog is scheduled for eye surgery 2/11/25

We LOVE Veronica in the grooming department! She does such a fantastic job with our dog, Lucy. Lucy is a very nervous girl when introduced to new people and places. Veronica has been so wonderful from day one making Lucy (and her humans!) feel welcome and comfortable each visit. Thank you, Veronica! We have had wonderful experiences with the staff and availability of items at this location and would absolutely recommend shopping here with your pets. The online booking feature for the grooming is super easy and convenient as well.

Amber in grooming is awesome. Shes so sweet & caring with my little 5 month old Chihuahua. I usually take her every 2 weeks or so because her nails grow fast. Amber always files her nails way down to buy us some extra time. When I walked into the salon area to pick her up i caught Amber giving my Cali girl a kiss. If thats not taking care of your dog while you're away...i dont know what is. If you book for grooming, book with her...dont forget to tip:)

I am so glad Rosaria was there today. I hope I spelled that correct. My eyesight for her name tag was poor but she was very attentive to the Rain rescue adoption cat and kitten area. We voiced a concern and she was on it straight away. She handled the concern and went above and beyond. After the mess was cleaned she played with the kitty and gave it much needed attention and called the rescue organization. We need more people like her at these places and in the world. I was not sure if she was a manager or not but she definitely is manager material with how well her customer service and overall department skills are. She is professional, kind and caring. Very grateful that Petsmart has her to look after those animals and kitties. She is wonderful.

this review specifically pertains to the salon at this location. my dog Flora has severe anxiety when outside the home, and the staff here does a great job taking care of her. I moved to Gilbert, am closer to 4 other locations, and STILL make a point to come to this location! while all the groomers are great, we've been able to see Daniella almost every month for the last year or so. reliable, does great work, and really makes an effort to keep my doggo feeling safe. This PetSmart location is one of the best in the east valley, and I really appreciate all they've done for flora and me

Kaylee always takes care of my pup, Jax. Jax has been known to be a little squirrely and generally gets nervous around other dogs. I know though that he is in good hands when he gets groomed and always looks fantastic after. Especially with Kaylee's patience. Thank you!

I took my puppy to get groomed for the first time and Gena did an awesome job with him. He was really anxious beforehand and she helped calm him and he looked so handsome afterwards. My only complaint is that the hair around his eyes is a little uneven but he moves whenever someone comes near his face so I can imagine he was probably very squirmy. But now he looks so handsome and smells amazing! I also bought a few things while I was there and all the associates were very friendly and helpful. Ultimately I was very happy with my experience!

This does not look right at all! My dog is so afraid to get her nails trimmed now thanks to Petsmart's attempted nail trim experience.

The whole point of a Yelp review whether it be 1 star or 5 stars, it is all a prerogative. Isn't there a saying "pics or it didn't happen". Well in my own gut feeling I felt what the pet groomers were doing to my dog at the time of events (2 years ago mind you) was not correct at all. From getting rude messages from her friends over the course of time (that is a form of bullying you know) , I have now been reached out to the girl in the photos giving my dog a choke hold. She wants me to take down the picture as she did not consent to it. You can't see her face, I did not mention her name (I honestly didn't know what it was until today), and I was taking a picture of my dog, that again, was being mishandled. Anyone reading the Yelp reviews for this petsmart can see how they handle their dogs. You can see why my rating is a 1 star. If you didn't hold my dog incorrectly which you said that's how training taught you but you don't do that anymore then even you know it was wrong. It is a reflective of corporate.

We rescued a 2 year old Cane Corso who was extremely aggressive that no other trainer wanted to work with. Felix's approach was exactly what our beautiful girl needed and has made us be able to have her thrive in our home with 2 cats and a newborn baby. We are incredibly grateful for his training and sometimes I feel like I got training too! There are no bad dogs, they just need training. Trust me, hire Felix, it is worth the money and effort, you will shocked at what your dog can learn and how happy the home will be. Best decision we ever made!

I noticed that many of the existing reviews for this trainer date back to 2018, so I wanted to…read moreshare a more recent experience for anyone considering working with him. Business practices can change over time, and I feel it's important to share my recent experience so others can make an informed decision. I hired Felix to work with my working-line dog and spent $8,000 over four months. Initially, Felix was professional and punctual. Over time, however, he became increasingly disorganized. Sessions were frequently cancelled or rescheduled for personal reasons, and he arrived late on multiple occasions. I continued because for a while the training went well, and my dog was learning a lot from the time and energy I dedicated to him. This is why I bought a second package from him. Felix started using a Dogtra e-collar at very high levels (90-100). As training progressed, this became more frequent. My dog vocalized and showed clear signs of distress. On one occasion, my dog lightly redirected toward me (after a correction Felix inflicted at 100) behavior he had never displayed prior to working with Felix. I raised my concerns via text later in the day, explaining that I felt these correction levels were inappropriate given my dog's age, maturity, and frustration level. Felix dismissed my concerns, responding that "bites happen," and told me I was making too big of a deal out of the situation, which caused me to second-guess myself. He affirmed my dog was 100% safe and noble. At our next session, Felix showed me photos of serious injuries caused by his own dog letting me know my dog wasn't actually handler aggressive like his dog was. Following that session, Felix applied harsh prong-collar corrections while my dog was learning a new command. My dog quickly redirected toward him (no broken skin). Felix became visibly frazzled, speaking aggressively toward both me and my partner, making inappropriate comments about my physical strength/body and questioning why I owned a large male dog and berating me in front of my home. My partner, who is a psychologist, calmly intervened due to concern about the tone and direction of the interaction. Immediately afterward, while my dog was highly aroused, Felix attempted a "leave it" exercise by scattering ham in our backyard without having taught the command first. When my dog attempted to eat the food, Felix administered multiple level-100 e-collar corrections. My dog yelped in pain, and my partner expressed serious discomfort, which Felix again dismissed. Felix then made alarming comments about having been "mauled" by several dogs and having dreams of being killed by dogs. Before he left our home, he told us that once again we were "on track" and he'd see us next session. When he left we were both shaken. That night my partner and I had drawn a line and decided we needed outside consult because our dog's behavior was changing in real time. And the exercise out back crossed a line for us and our dog's safety. The following day, Felix sent a message cancelling our work together. In a short text, he commanded me to return my dog to the breeder, instructed me not to contact him again, and blocked me and my partner on social media and text message. Stunned, I went to his website and emailed him requesting a refund for the unused sessions (over $3,000). He refused, citing a "no-refund policy," though no such policy was provided in writing or verbally at the time of purchase. Since then, I have consulted with multiple highly respected trainers, including two who have competed at the IGP World Championship level. None were familiar with Felix or his work, and all expressed extreme concern about the methods described. They indicated these methods contributed to the redirection issues and confirmed that my dog is highly workable with appropriate training. Felix has the right to choose who he works with. However, cancelling services while refusing to refund prepaid sessions reflects poorly on his business practices and integrity. I am sharing this experience so others can make an informed decision before hiring this trainer. Please know that if Felix feels overwhelmed or in over his head while training your dog, he can (and might) stop the pre-paid sessions at any time, block you, and refuse to give you back money for services that were not rendered.

I could not figure out why nothing was working. A colleagusuggested that I try a dog trainer named Bob Solomini that he had used in the past. His passion and confidence in Bob convinced me and even though I was very skeptical and worn out I decided to give it one last try. I am excited to tell you about my invaluable experience and what I learned from it: -my dog was only a small part of the problem, but the majority of the behavioral problems stemmed from me. Dogs aren't born knowing how to behave the way humans would like them to, so we as responsible dog owners need to teach them. -we don't automatically realize what we are doing wrong and unless a true professional who really cares can teach us the correct way we can't be sure that we will ultimately have a happy relationship with our pet. -after four years of pulling my hair out and stressful walks with my dog I wound up moving to a new neighborhood, and my dog was totally out of control when I walked him. When he saw people with dogs, he went crazy and I could not stop him from barking and pulling. In fact, he pulled me down a couple of times where I sprained my ankle and another time where I hurt my knee. In fact, most of my neighbors walked the other way when they saw us and complained about my dog's bad behavior. After the first lesson, I immediately knew that I had found something different. Humane, focused,, professional, and results driven. I am so lucky that I found all American K-9 and especially Bob Solomini. I love walking my dog now, and all of my neighbors have praised the incredible transformation that they see. This was literally a life-changing experience for my dog and for me. I am so thankful that I found somebody that really knows what they're doing and really cares -not only is Bob a great person, but also the Best dog trainer that I have ever met. We had previously completed seven sessions with another trainer at Rob's Dogs and while that experience was fine for basic obedience, it felt like 'training' rather than the deep level behavioral correction we actually needed. Thankfully, because of the Rob's Dogs lifetime guarantee, we were connected with Joel. From the first hour, the difference was night and day. Joel immediately identified the core issues and provided professional, actionable insight on how to actually shift the dogs' behavior, rather than just running through commands. Although the dog has been through several training programs, she had recently reverted back to being reactive on leash: barking, pulling, and lunging at any dog that barked at her or gave her a "look". Thankfully I found Rob's Dogs through a search online. Rob offers dog training either through individual sessions sold as a packet of 8 or 3, or you can elect to do a board and train method. Since my mom's dog had done two board and trains with other training facilities in Florida and Texas, I opted for the individual sessions sold as a packet of 3. Not to disparage the other training schools, I want to note that the dog had learned a great deal of commands, but she was a little rusty and selective when doing them and was selectively reactive on leash around other dogs. What we needed was a trainer that could come to my mom's neighborhood and see the dog being reactive in the environment where she was going to be walked. Thankfully Rob's Dogs offered this as an option. It cost a significant amount to do this, but it was possible. The additional cost was for the mileage and drive time to my mom's place. We had a meet and greet at the facility. Rob, the owner, met with us and got the back story on the dog and the current behavior problems. He took the dog and walked her around a bit and near other dogs, tested her response to commands and leash pressure. He explained the package options available to us. He also made us aware that we would be using both a prong collar and e-collar to reinstate her former training. We had these tools, but my mom hadn't used them with the dog since she left Florida, and I had never used them. We were assigned a trainer who was contracted by Rob. Lauryn was super friendly and had a love and full understanding of the German Shepherd breed. She herself had a German Shepherd. She went over the operation of the two collars which I was not familiar with at all. Rob's dogs sent us a link and password so that we could watch some important training videos. His website also had some very useful training tips. I highly recommend watching/reading this information carefully and then reviewing it again each week. It's easy for owners to slip into bad habits quickly which results in their dogs behaving in ways they don't want. You will have to enforce rules and get into a routine. Restrictions can be lifted once the dog consistently behaves as desired. You will find that YOU will have to do the hard work. The trainer and Rob's Dogs will assess your current situation and give you the tools and training to use those tools to reinforce good behaviors. It won't happen overnight. You will need to work with the dog for at least an hour each day to reinforce the seven commands and expectations. As I mentioned, we only had three sessions. This training was going to determine whether or not my mom could keep and handle her dog. Immediately after the first session, we started using the tools and putting restrictions in place inside the house to set the law of the land. Right away, we noticed a difference. While the dog was already really well behaved in the house, it improved her response to us when we walked her outside of the house. The prong collar made a drastic difference in her behavior when she saw other yappy dogs on the walk. I no longer had to worry about her lunging, pulling or barking incessantly in an aggressive stance. She still got up, moved forward, and barked once, but it was all very controlled. I didn't have to use all of my strength to hold her back. The real test came when my mom was able to walk her dog around other yappy dogs. After session two, my mom was easily able to do this, and I felt confident that continuing this training would allow my mom to keep her dog. Her German Shepherd is sometimes still reactive, but it is much more controlled and manageable now. In time, and with continued consistent practice, I believe my mom's dog will eventually stop the reactivity altogether. She has already shown amazing progress and only slips occasionally. If you are looking for effective dog training (well, really we know it is human training to learn how to effectively communicate with the dog), then consider Rob's Dogs. You will work hard to get your dog's behavior issues resolved, but the longterm results will allow you to have a wonderful relationship with your pet.
