The training with Beth and the store are great. Took Hauser to Sarah and she did awesome grooming him. She understood what I wanted a did it. The other groomer ended up partially grooming Cole and I paid for all of it. I will not be back to her. Cole drools and is NOT bleeding!!! He was just at the vet and is scheduled for a dental. She gave him a bath. He does not like his mouth or face touched. Never has. Just said to me your not the right groomer and I will make sure you are not touching any of my dogs. read more

Stay away from this place- it is one of the worst Pet-smarts I have ever been to. Perpetually short staffed and disorganised. Abby the groomer was rude to me and my dog, Mary Anne the manager very unhelpful. I drove an hour to get there and called several times to confirm. When I got there I waited for 20 minutes and was ignored. No one was ahead of me in line, then they cancelled my appointment saying that they didn't have Winston's shot record which they did. Abbie was disappointed when she discovered she had them, then the next excuse was she had a cat to do and couldn't do my dog, finally she said I was "late" even though I moved the appointment to 4 pm to give ample time, called to confirm and waited for 20 min. Very unprofessional, zero customer service. They were very very rude, and I am not an unfriendly person, and I tip well, so it was quite shocking. Won't be back! read more

Scheduled a grooming appointment and was told it would take "45min-1hr max, depending on how she tolerate(s) the dryer". I have a very short haired dog and advised I don't care if she's dry/e are fine leaving with her damp or towel dried. Told the staff we would be waiting/we were going down the street for a quick meal and would be back. Came back an hour later to be told she hadn't even been started yet, not even pulled out of her kennel. Their excuse was that they were busy and we shouldn't have been given an expectation of 45-60min and they are usually about 2-3 hours. If that is the case they should be closing or limiting their appointment books, not allowing more appointments to be booked if they cannot keep up. (A husky or other breed which requires a haircut is going to take longer than a short haired pet that only needs a bath/brush, etc). read more

My usual groomer was unavailable. A groomer came up from Concord NH. My dog has severe bruising under her front and back legs! She is a goldendoodle. The groomer shaved off all the eyelashes on 1 eye. Willow's ear is a inch longer on 1 side. Who knows what kind of experience it was for my dog! I want Sarah back! I learned my lesson not to trust this place. read more

I have been taking my Pomeranian to this location to be groomed for over a year. Our regular groomer was amazing. However, she was not available and we were traveling and needed grooming services. I selected someone that I later found out was new. She shaved my baby and his fur is not growing back. They let her go, as this was a pattern. I received two free baths to stimulate growth and two reduced cost groomings. In September I escalated and filed a complaint. I spoke with a manager that said it would be further investigated. It's been two months and I have followed up three times to no avail. They ruined my baby's coat and I now have to get him groomed more often to compensate for the lack of fur on his back. The lack of follow up is really disheartening. I have taken my business elsewhere but would still appreciate a viable resolution regarding this matter. read more

The West Lebanon, NH store manager lied to me about corporate policies and then refused to admit that she was wrong even after being told directly by corporate customer service rep that she incorrect about the policy. I'm not sure why PetSmart would continue to employ a manager like this, especially since there is a pet store in an adjacent plaza where I can easily make my purchases without being lied to. This is the only PetSmart location I've ever visited, but if this is any indication of how they run their stores I can't believe they are still in business. read more

Made an grooming apt 2.5 weeks out. I made a note that I work long hours and specified when I would drop off and pick up. I recieved a confirmation and no response that the given times weren't a problem. I showed up, and they refused to take her. Stating "its not safe to leave your dog here for that long" well, what the hell are you going to do to her? You don't jnow how to take care of a dog?! 7 hours apparently is not allowed. Though its not stated anywhere. I booked online, and they told me I should've called instead. Then they shouldn't offer online bookings. I told them I left them the message 2.5 weeks ago when I made the apt, and the response was "we don't read the notes until the day of" which is dumb. I asked for the anger, she rolled her eyes at me, offered no solutions, or even mentioned getting the policies posted, and walked away from me while I was still talking to her!!!! BEYOND DISRESPECTFUL, RUDE, AND CHILDISH! luckily I called a local place on my way to work who saved the day! They were amazing and doggie sat for her for the whole day last minute! ***perfect fur salon*** I wont go anywhere else ever again. I was pretty disappointed with the grooming job that was done on my dog. Even though I paid extra money for the furminator treatment, her coat was not fully brushed out. I had also asked to be sure they did an anal expression, as she had been acting like it was bothering her, and I had to ask to find out it had not been done because it was too difficult with my dog. What? It was supposed to be part of the regular service. The bottom line is that I won't be going back. read more

I have been in the new Petsmart a couple times now and I was excited to bring my 2 year old son to see all the animals. We just went again today and I was not happy with one of the employees who was really rude to us. She was working in the fish department and spoke in a angry tone, "Don't tap on the glass, you're scaring the fish." She could of said it in a better way and not such a nasty way. Now I understand kids should not be doing this that is why I was telling my son not to do this way before she said anything and I kept repeating it like you have to with 2 year olds. He was really excited and it's not like he kept tapping on the tank over and over. He was moving from one to the next and really just pointing, you couldn't hear him tapping on the glass. She spoke to him when I was in the middle of speaking to him and she should of said something more to us not my son. Now if we weren't speaking to him, yes I would understand. My husband and I left the store right after. All the other workers at the store seem really nice and professional we just happen to run into this one. Luckily my son isn't old enough to realize how she was so he was still happy after. read more

I love this store. We shop here frequently. Although we tend to stick with local/family owned businesses, this stores staff, prices, and selection make it right at the top of our list to go. We often take the boys with us and they love it. Aisles are wide enough to pass other customers with dogs easily. Huge selection of items including grain-free dog foods with very reasonable prices. I also love the fact that instead of selling feeds that are expiring in the upcoming month or two at full price to unsuspecting customers (as sadly most local businesses do) they discount them and inform you of expiration date. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable (the ones we've dealt with so far) and the environment is very customer/pet accomodating. One odd thing is they only sell male small animals apparently (this is what a staff member told us). I don't care for that policy too much as if you have a female critter and want a same sex buddy for it you have to go elsewhere or buy one of the opposite sex- I understand they're hoping to limit unwanted breedings by only offering one sex of the critters but also makes it more likely to happen in the case a person has a female critter and wants a same sex buddy to avoid unwanted critter litters. Always clean and bright in store as well. Offer poo bags outside and water for your dogs as well. read more
