Heated patio

(G)o - Local gem in the loop with the cutest decor! Definitely coming back for a sweet treat (W)ow factor - The heated patio with fairylights and flowers on each table is such a vibe. It's easy to miss when walking by, so keep a look out! (A)mbiance - No indoor seating so it's perfect for summer weather, although seating is limited. Service at the counter is efficient and friendly. (M)enu - Solid breakfast sandwich for 5.99 and huge old fashioned donut for 3.75. Varied assortment of croissants, cookies, donuts, and slices of cake.

Cute little spot next to a sit down eatery. Delicious coffee with lots of options and bunches of goodies, including quite a few gluten free options. Fun merch and a little outdoor heated patio with seating. Perfect for a snack and some people watching. Really enjoyable.

I'm a sucker for a good cup of coffee and a sweet treat and Petterino's delivered in both! They have great selection of drinks and sweets but I ultimately decided on a gingerbread mocha and a lemon ricotta cookie. The mocha was wonderfully balanced, not overly sweet, and the lemon cookie was pure heaven. Full of lemon flavor but sooo pillowy soft and topped with a luscious lemon glaze. You also HAVE to sit in their heated outdoor patio during the holiday season. Christmas music, lights and decor galore, heaters, and people watching. What better way to get in the Christmas spirit and enjoy a coffee break.

Just the cutest place ever! It's a bit hard to miss - It is between the Petterino's restaurant and Corner Bakery. So tiny, I've only been here to get their coffee. Loved their mocha, lavender latte can be a tad bit better. There's only one barista but it's been pretty quick. I would come back to try their lunches and/or after work drinks. It's a very cozy place - almost like a bistro in Europe.

Nothing like local! Petterino's not only serves delicious pastured, but also some light breakfast items and delicious lattes/coffee/etc. Nestled next to its restaurant, this little shop has many cute little items and drinks that you can grab too. Let's give MAJOR props to the outdoor heater, what a godsend and wonderful way to enjoy those passing by. I stopped here on a Friday morning and was just so content sipping latte before work outside.

Coffee and espresso were fantastic!

My wife and I stopped at Petterino's for a quick bite ahead of a show at the Nederlander theatre. We had spent most of the day walking around Chicago and wanted something light as we had eaten at late lunch. This place is exactly what I expect at a Chicago Italian restaurant. The service is impeccable, the place packed, white linens, and servers moving quickly. We sat at the bar and each had a drink. My gin and tonic was ok, not great. I'd order wine next time. We ordered the meatball appetizer to share and they were delicious! The sauce was to die for! Once we finished eating and our drinks, I ordered an espresso and my wife coffee to go with the Broken Lemon Tart. OMG, GET THIS DESSERT! So good.

Cute decor inside, though only room for 2-3 people

Cute little cafe if you want a quick lunch, coffee or a sandwich to go. There are a few tables outside, but a seat may or may not be available. Really good espresso!

With a cozy locals vibe, there was a mix of young professionals on laptops and families starting the morning. The bright aesethics of Mexican heritage and decor celebrating local artists make the space inspiring and energizing. The coffee was great. I got the horchata latte, which tasted even better than I hoped. I also ordered a El Chavo Torta, a deceptively simple sandwich that was incredibly delicious. I don't know what they put in the bread or what magical place they bought the cheese from, but my mouth is watering just thinking about it. When I'm in Chicago again, La Malinche is on my list of must visit spots.

The staff were really welcoming, for an early morning. I got the hot chocolate. Honestly that's exactly what I needed that morning. It had that real Mexican chocolate taste. Thick, creamy, smooth and rich. The cinnamon came through warm but not too strong, plus a little extra on top that hit your nose before the first sip. Sweet and it almost had this slight earthy note too... hard to explain but good. It even had that little design on top, like the ones they do on cappuccinos. Didn't expect that but it was cool. I finished it slow. Didn't wanna rush it. Just sat there taking small sips and enjoying it while it was still hot.

Set in an old warehouse that is now an art gallery event space and restaurant nestled in an older warehouse district in Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. Beautiful decor and laid out perfectly. The natural wood floors furniture ie tables chairs etc and iron work throughout sets the ambiance for old meets new. It works. The wide spacing between tables makes for a comfortable dining experience. So many folks come in to do their work and dine here. What a super addition to the neighborhood that less than a decade ago was essentially a street that was more a run down semi-truck alley. Great menu with neighborhood favorites leaning toward the old school Italian dishes. Sandwiches, soups, salads, and breakfasts just to name a few are all excellent. The pastries are insane and a must take home deal. I love the American Breakfast. Three eggs your way, thick diced America potatoes, thick cut bacon, and sourdough toast. Accompanied by what I believe to be home made jelly and for sure homemade gardiniera. Caruso's gardiniera actually. Diced into a relish unlike most standard gardiniera it's easier to eat with many dishes. Excellent flavor and just the right kick to it. FYI Dolce Arte also sells a to go line of homemade Caruso products from their gardiniera to past and past sauces and more. Yes, their coffee is really good too. Lavazza products I believe. The service is always on point. Casual but on point. Very friendly staff from diverse backgrounds. This is the place you bring people close to you, business lunches, meetings, formal ir informal, or like me, save it for myself as my own getaway spot. It's an artists dream and sets a positive time for any gathering.

I had the regular coffee flight and their valentine special coffee flight. Their drinks were soooo good and tastes just like how you would expect it to taste. The owner said they took over the store next door to expand the coffee shop, so stay tune for an expansion? Hands down one of the most legit coffee spots I would keep coming back to even if it's out of the way sometimes. My husband ordered a bagel sandwich cause he was hungry and we thought it was fine. If you're ever in the area, you must come here for the coffee! They even use the good ice so that way your drinks stays cold and not watered down immediately! IYKYK

Why would you not order a flight to try a variety of drinks all at once? We had the hibiscus lemonade and matcha flight, the mango con crema and banana con crema were the standouts. They also offer brunch food items which we did not get to try. But overall cute shop with a variety of speciality drinks that I will definitely try in the future.
