What an incredibly beautiful dining experience even though some of the beauty of this restaurant is lost by a bit of arrogance/elitism in the atmosphere--even on the menu. Nonetheless this is a true 5-star restaurant with outstanding service top to bottom and the best lobster roll, hamburger and fries (yes I called them what they are FRENCH FRIES) anywhere.

While driving to the city, we called the restaurant 20 minutes before they opened to see if we could get a table for two, and we were graciously seated by 10:15 am. Seated by the fountain, our table for two was still able to converse comfortably next to the sound of the water. Our server, Ally, answered all of our questions with patience. We ordered four mini lobster rolls with caviar, honey-glazed salmon, and the truffle fries. The fries were delicious! The mini lobster rolls were good, but I don't think the caviar made a huge impact, granted it was our first time eating caviar. I would order the big lobster roll next time without caviar. The honey-glazed salmon had perfect potatoes, but the salmon needed a bigger flavor punch; the honey glaze did not stand out. We ordered two lattes that were amazing! My daughter loved her matcha latte. We ended with the butterscotch creme brulee, so creamy and lovely. My daughter has requested to come back for her birthday, and we cannot wait!

Had an amazing experience! The truffle fries had cheese in every layer so you never felt like it was under seasoned. We had gotten the eggs Benedict and this by far was the best one I have ever had. The arugula salad was a great addition to the saltiness with a little cheese over the eggs. We also got the burrata with roasted peppers that surprisingly added a tasty salty and sweet taste. We came here for a birthday celebration and it was above and beyond expectations. We will be back again soon! They also had a great white wine selection that we enjoyed! The server was attentive and food all came out in a timely manner. We loved the architecture and the attention to detail.

This restaurant was really lovely! We had a lovely view from our table and enjoyed some nice drinks. Our server was very friendly. After we had our drinks we explored the furniture store it was under which had some very beautiful furniture and a gorgeous rooftop view!

The ambiance is as amazing as years ago! But i think the food tasted better this time! We came here to celebrate a bday and ordered several items. Almost everything tasted fantastic! The grilled shrimp exceed expectation - it was very fresh, flavorful and NOT DRY at all! The baguette was warm and soft. My little picky eater had a whole loaf himself... The other lunch/brunch items were mostly great! All the meat was juicy and flavorful. Sandwich was also loaded with meat, but lobster wasn't a bit under expectation, maybe a bit bland? Or I should have added the caviar. Ribeye and egg was a bit disappointing. Being the most expensive single dish we ordered, I wasn't expecting any chewy parts in the steak :( All the drink was okay but could be better. Will definitely go back and try other items for sure!

What a gorgeous dining experience!! RH is absolutely beautiful and they definitely know how to do interior designing right. I went there for brunch and got the Italian eggs Benedict, lobster roll, and arugula salad. The egg Benedict was incredibly salty, I was wincing as I ate it. The arugula salad was chefs kiss. All the flavors and textures were so well put together. The lobster roll was great as well- the toast was perfectly crispy and buttery. Our server was super nice and accommodating. Really made the whole dining experience wonderful.

If you want to impress someone, try 3 Arts Club Cafe at RH. Roll out the red carpet and valet. This interior courtyard cafe located inside RH is immaculately beautiful. The building and the showrooms itself is like a museum. After walking the showroom floors, each floor was empty but this cafe was full. Super classy looking which is the reason why I came in jeans, t-shirt and jacket. Lol. The glazed atrium roof, fountain and glass chandeliers and olive trees make for perfect photos in Architectural Digest and RH catalog. So, like any classy place, I ordered a burger with coffee. Burgers are a must in Chicago. Chicago has great quality Mid West beef. This burger was solid. RH Burger is simple but very good. Served on a brioche bun, sharp cheddar, pickles, onions, dijonnaise and without tomato (a plus). A must visit.

I came here to celebrate my friend's birthday. We got a table with the couches. It fit 8 of us nicely. The table was nice and large. The view was amazing. I will say that the food... could be better for the price. The burger was salty and the fries were over done. My other friend got a sandwich with the bread being almost all burnt. When we asked for another piece, it did take awhile before it was served. Drinks... are more on the bitter side if you order coffee. Some of my friends enjoyed it whereas some of my friends wish it was sweeter. Def communicate with your server if you have anything to change. I will say that I prefer oakbrook location more than downtown.

Beautiful inside with the orangery sunlight. The service was very prompt and attentive and friendly. The food was really really good. I had the shrimp with broccolini and. crisp artichoke and Delice de Bourgogne all very delicious. The bathrooms were very clean, but you have to take an elevator to the basement to get there.. valet is available in street parking is also available

I came here for a girls brunch while visiting and have to say this really lived up to the hype! Located inside a Restoration Hardware, the entrance to the restaurant was super chic and the staff was super friendly and helpful with checking us in (definitely make a reservation!). Inside, the restaurant is so stunning and bright with natural light and relaxing. The menu is pretty pricey so be forewarned and it is a very limited menu on the weekdays but there was still something for everyone to order. (I wish the breakfast menu was larger!) I had an iced chai which was delicious. I got the RH scramble which absolutely blew me away. The eggs were the most perfect soft scramble. I loved the creme fraiche with the flaky salt on top and the bread was nice and crusty. I got a side of bacon as well (also a pricey side) but the bacon was also cooked extremely well with the perfect amount of crunch and fat. Overall, excellent food and very cute spot for special occasions!

This place is Beautiful! It's like an art museum and a restaurant. The food to be honest is not worth their prices. You're pretty much paying for the place and experience. Our server was wonderful and kind. No big waits and no rushing. I recommend going here at least once just to check out the architecture and the design/art.

First time here and we were a walk in and got seats right away but we did go early right as it opened. This place started filling up fast so I recommend a reservation if you go during busier times or have a big party. Extremely pretty venue and one of the best things about it. We got sat in one of the low tables which is fine and ordered two dishes. We got the American breakfast and the Italian Benedict. Our server was ok there wasn't anything super memorable in our opinion. The food was ok but for the price point you would expect something a little more. Don't get me wrong it's not bad but portions are a bit slim and we are big backs. The egg however was perfectly cooked and to quote my bf had a "clean" taste. Whatever that means? Great place for photos and a little snack but I don't see myself coming back here solely from a food perspective.

The food was spectacular! Everything felt so elegant and fresh! We got a ton of appetizers to share, and I specifically loved the mini lobster rolls with caviar. You can really taste how fresh and high quality the caviar was. My main dish was the ribeye dip, and it was pretty good. The meat was juicy and the dip was very warm and savory. The service was top notch! Our server was so friendly, and she always made sure to check-in with us. Additionally, she brought out a birthday banana split since we were celebrating two birthdays. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful as well. We went at night, so the lights were very pretty. However, I heard that it's much nicer during the day for photos and the aesthetic. Lastly, I will say it's a little pricey, but it's definitely worth the experience every once in a while for a special occasion.

Ask the Community - 3 Arts Club Cafe at RH Chicago

Can you accommodate a party of 20?

What is the difference between standard seating and lounge seating? Which is better? What

What is standard seating? Just means you're at regular tables and chairs. The lounge seating is more casual on couches, etc.

Whats one food item from here that you guys recommend?

I would definitely recommend the roasted half chicken.

Do they do brunch on the weekdays?

They are open every day at 10.

    Where can you park?

There is not much parking, since it's in a neighborhood. If you drive, you'd most likely have to valet.

Go at night or during the day?

    Anytime!! It's beautiful either time

Up to how many people may I put in a reservation?

The dining area isn't super large so you're probably better off just calling them to find out what the maximum capacity is

Can you order any of the items on the menu at anytime? Or brunch items limited for brunch and dinner limited to dinner? Thank you

Yes. I ordered their burger w/thick cut bacon for breakfast

    Is there any vegan options?

You can make a couple of their items vegan by asking to remove cheese etc

Is there street parking near by?

Yes, you can usually find free parking on Lasalle near the intersection with Goethe.

Is this open next month, March 2021?

It should be! They've been open the past couple months

Do they have any gluten free options?

Well off the top of my head, I had a lobster ceasar salad (it would be no problem to hold the croutons), so yes!

Price range for a party of two?

$40-$60 it is on the pricier side, one page menu

Is it possible to just come here for coffee, or is food required to sit down?

You can get a coffee or even a latte and just hang out or even better bring your own coffee and explore the gallery's!

    Is the meat here halal?

Not sure about what type of meat but I would recommend to call them directly and ask that question.

Do they serve brunch on weekdays?

They have the same all-day menu on weekdays and weekends, featuring some brunch items like the RH scramble and pastries.

What time do they start putting people on the wait list?

As soon as they open and all the tables get occupied. If you're going over the weekend I suggest you get there by 09:45 am since there's already a line

    What is the parking situation?

street parking only, and it's hard to come by! I'd definitely recommend taking a lyft or walking from the clark/division red line.

Do they have happy hour? If so what are the specials?

Hi! Thanks for the question. We don’t currently have any happy hour specials. We do offer full dining with our all day menu as well as beer, wine, coffee, tea, and soft drinks from our barista bar pantry that you can carry with you as you walk… Read more

I appreciated that the matcha can be customized. You can choose sweetened or unsweetened and even adjust the matcha strength. Since I am sensitive to caffeine I chose light matcha and it was perfect. Smooth flavor and not overly sweet. The cafe is also a really nice place to sit for a bit. There are big tables and lots of natural light which makes it feel relaxed and comfortable. The staff were nice and the drinks came out quickly. Great spot for a quality matcha or coffee in the area. I would definitely come back.

First off, the staff were nice so this review does not have to do with them. It has everything to do with the atrocious, offensive liquid that they dare call coffee. When you walk in, the space is small, humid, and dirty. The tables were all sticky with drink residue and crumbs everywhere. It's the Loop so I'll give some grace but it was pretty unpleasant. We ordered the strawberry matcha and vanilla latte. The matcha came out murky green with an attempt of making it look nice with a chaotic splattering of strawberry puree/sauce (?). It tasted like it looked...trash. You might be wondering, "Well why would you order a matcha here?" And you would be correct. In my defense, you would think that if there is a drink on the menu, it would at least be somewhat good but now that I think about it, that might be too much to ask. Now to my #1 gripe, the latte. It was watery and nearly flavorless aside from the diabolical acidic taste that assaulted my tastebuds. For context, we HATE wasting food/drink; I could probably count on one hand how many times I've done that in my life. We threw away the lattes after a few forced sips; that should tell you how nasty it was. Bad coffee, bad drinks, it happens. But paying ~$8 for each drink really does rub salt in the wound. I will NEVER drink Intelligentsia coffee again. In the grand scheme of things, my review doesn't matter but if I can warn at least one other person about the atrocities this company commits to coffee/matcha, then maybe it will make up for the waste of money & time I spent here.
