This Nordstrom was also located in the same plaza as Boot Barn and Handel's Handmade Ice Cream... I thought to myself maybe they would have good deals since it's a Nordstrom Rack! I did go to Nordstrom a couple weeks ago and I found some sweaters for $40 and dresses for around $70-100 on sale. I thought to myself maybe I should wait to see if there's better deals at Nordstrom Rack... BIG MISTAKE! I should have just bought what I found the other day at NORDSTROM because what I found at the NORDSTROM RACK was priced higher! SERVICE: The lady at the fitting room was really nice although she did seem tired. After all, it was close to 9pm she must have had a long day. I hope she gets a nice rest... I found one dress for $174 and another one for $247! I thought to myself oh dear! That could definitely buy a lot of nice meals rather than a dress. So I decided to try it on to see if it was worth the price or NOT? It was not worth the price. For $174 and $247 it should FIT LIKE A GLOVE and feel like a MAGIC CARPET RIDE! WILL NOT BE BACK At NORDSTROM RACK!!!

I stopped by yesterday and she helped me find the dress i was looking for, she was so kind and gave me great advice how to clean the dress. I tried it on and it was perfect! During my browsing, I noticed a small wad of money on the floor near the resister. I was on my way to the dressing room and picked up the money and put it on the counter. I paid for my items and left. I was about 50 feet from the store and the attendant called me back. She forgot to charge me for one item. I returned and paid for it. As I walked out I saw two ladies that were I. The store before I made my purchase. I told them about the money and if they dropped it, should go get it. They both said it wasn't there's and one said she doesn't carry cash. Then it hit me! I think when I pulled my eye glasses out of my purse to browse, I dropped the money! Lol! I went back to the store to tell the attendant and she didn't believe me. She told me I didn't even open my purse! Unbelievable! Who does that. Lesson learned. I need to slow down no matter how excited shopping makes me! I guess the attendant needed the few extra bucks. If you happen to be one of the two ladies that I saw, go back and claim my money! No matter how cute some of the things were, I won't be back. So shady!

Just like the Bargain Box and Huntington Collection, I can't call the Treasure Fair a thrift shop since it's not like a typical thrift shop, but more like second-hand boutique. You can tell that the volunteers take the time to highlight the quality of the available merchandise, especially the housewares and decor. It's very evident that all of the treasures for sale were meticulously cleaned and staged by the hardworking staff. There's also a pretty good selection of clothing for all ages. The Treasure Fair is a nonprofit managed by the Assistance League of Pasadena, and one of their worthy endeavors is Operation School Bell, which provides much needed clothing as well as school supplies such as backpacks and books to children in need in neighboring local schools. There's a very small parking lot but there should be plenty of street parking available if needed. Also, be aware that the store has limited hours since it's managed by volunteers. It's only open four days a week, Wednesdays thru Saturdays, from 11am to 2pm. Plan to check out The Treasure Fair to give much needed treasures a new. home.

I got there, had to count how many items I had and the lady was incredibly rude from the start. I smiled and tried to be pleasant regardless, but she had such a bad attitude and was not helpful at all. She didn't give me a number and just left. Then, when I returned the clothes I didn't want, she said "next time, like, get a number" in a patronizing tone. If you're having a bad day, I get it. But don't put that on other people, especially your customers. It costs nothing to be kind.
