Groomer does a great job but their prices are so inconsistent. I used to get charged $40 per dog then it went up to $45 then now, they just tried charging me $50 - this in a matter of 6 months! RIDICULOUS!!! read more

Incredible and caring service, an amazing selection of high quality dog food and surprisingly reasonable prices. By far the best pet store I have ever been too. They know me by name here and I have noticed they know a lot of customers by name. I drive out of my way 12 miles to shop at the new location but that's ok with me. All the staff here are friendly everyone says hi and asks if I need help even though they already know what I'm in for. It's awesome that they have a drive through but I still like going in to be greeted by everyone it's a good feeling when I go there. They also have a bonus buck's promotion that helps save you money on your next visit. I'm never shopping at any other pet store. read more

Had our Yorkie here for the first time 2 weeks ago getting groomed. Overall the price was very fair and what I did like was that it only took about an hour to get him done. Petsmart had him for 6hrs. Staff overall was friendly. The cut itself was pretty decent. The hairs around his face were a little choppy, but overall a good visit. We will be returning guests. read more

Don't get your dog groomed at Petz Place in Goodyear AZ. They butchered my golden retriever. We asked them to trim her feathers & they cut them off. I am so angry I don't trust myself to talk to them. It wouldn't do any good they've already made my poor pup look horrible. Find a groomer who knows what they're doing. read more

I have been coming to this location for dog and now puppy food for a couple of years now. They're so friendly, they know you by name and treat you like family, and they're such a wonderful company to deal with! If you're a repeat customer they create an account for you and give you "bonus bucks" towards your next purchase but does have to be used within two weeks. Which for me is no issue as I have 4 dogs and 1 puppy. I LOVE Petz Place! Highly recommend!! read more

We have been going for over 4 year to have our dog groomed, when Alejandro was there our dog was always so happy to see her and ran to great her. After she left our dog has never wanted to go into the store to get groomed again and we do this once a month! It takes use time to get him out of the truck and then I have to help put him into the tub! This hurts me every time I do this! I have brought this to their attention and it doesn't seem to matter to them! And you would think after 4yrs they would know our name and our dog, I called and asked to schedule for or appointments that we book out 6 months but they told me that they were double booked and if they had a cancellation they would call me ! I said I've been coming for 4+yrs and you didn't have your new books when we needed to schedule! So Now I'm looking for a new groomer that our dog will feel comfortably again ! Petz Place is the only pet store I'll shop at! I drive all the way from North Phoenix for the amazing products and even better customer service. My dog has allergies and has had to do quite a few food trials and they are so great at giving me recommendations and samples to try until we found the perfect food for my pup's needs! They also have a great selection of toys and my pup is thrilled to have the DIY dog wash back(: I would definitely recommend Petz Place to anyone who is looking for a store that goes above and beyond for your fur babies needs. read more

The staff and store is very nice...clean and they are very helpful. I took my Husky in for grooming but he didn't look super sharp afterwards: His nails were still kind of long and so was his coat. We are new to the area and it almost seems impossible to find good groomers. (Our groomers in California were incredible so I guess that's why our standards are so high.) read more

I wanted to write a review because the staff at this location is very helpful and knowledgable. I always spend a fortune when I go there but it's because they have a lot of great products. I was buying diet food from the vet and was spending a a lot of money and now I use a brand recommend by the staff here and Meisje loves it. I highly recommend this staff and company. Excellent service! I love bringing my dogs in because they are very caring and helpful. I have brought my Shit-Zu Yorkie mix, my Yorkie, and my Chihuahua for grooming. My Chihuahua is a rescue who is very afraid of strangers but I was comfortable leaving her here. When I picked her up she seemed very calm and at ease so that made me feel good. My two other dogs are inseparable and the groomer quickly figured that out and bathed them together. They really care about every dog that comes in and I love that! read more

I will never buy my blue anywhere else. For every 10 bags of food you buy, you get one bag free (within a year). There are always people walking around the store asking to help me. I save about 14% on dog food, in comparison to petsmart. They even carry the food out to my car. They have limited ingredient salmon treats too, which I can't find anywhere else. I'm not the type to write reviews, good or bad, but petz place rocks. I have spent so much of my time in various pet stores. We used to buy our pet food at Pet Club, but this place is closer to our home so we decided to check it out. All of the employees are super friendly & helpful! One time they accidentally charged me twice, and I didn't even notice. The next day I received a phone call from the owner (I think) apologizing for them overcharging me. I stopped by the store later that day, and they refunded my money. We'll definitely continue using them as long as we live here. read more

We are from Canada and have had our Bichon Shihtzu groomed a few times at another groomer. Sadly we were informed by our regular groomer at home that our dog was possibly abused while being groomed. I was desperate to find someone that I could trust because he is 13 years old and has anxiety. I came across a review on yelp about Petz Place and it was all 5 star. I went in and talked to the young girl told her about my dog and my concerns and booked an appointment. I met the groomer Michelle and felt very calm with her grooming my dog. I told her there was a certain way you had to pick him up because he had hurt both of his elbows. She said ok show me how you pick him up and I will pick him up the same. I left him to be groomed came back to pick him up and he came running at me like he had a smile on his face and she said he did amazing. I will never take my dog anywhere else but here to be groomed while we are in Arizona. I would definitely recommend this store to groom your pet. My dog looks amazing! I absolutely love this place! I walked in at 3 min to closing thinking they would be irritated. All 3 staff members were answering questions and making suggestions until like 15 min after closing. I have to admit there are a few small things I'll buy at Walmart because it's cheaper (I.e. a leash) but I won't take a chance with my puppies' food and treats. I also take them there for grooming. Debbie is such a sweetheart! And I got shots and microchips there too. Love it!! read more
