Henry P.

I recently went here to get my scooter repaired, and these guys are extremely generous and very knowledgeable. They're able to always fix my issues whenever I come in and I feel like I'm in good hands. I highly recommend this to be your first stop if you have any issues with your scooter! My service requests are always met. The value is well priced. Will always be a customer here !

The"open box deal" INMOTION RS I owned for a total of 48 hours.

Their pricing for repair is so high you should just buy a new $1500 scooter. I'll find another place.

Thank goodness I did as Tony and Kevin came to the rescue and diagnosed a much more important/overarching issue.

This is a really great spot to rent Segway's in SF! Especially if you wanna ride them in the Golden…read moreGate Park or along the beach boardwalk. The owner is very helpful. He shows you a safety video and then lets you try the Segway in store. He also gives some pointers on how to ride it. This is great so to find out if you can ride a segway before paying for the rental. The Segway's come with everything you need (attach bag, map, etc). The helmet is also included in the rental. Payment: If you pay with cash you don't have to pay tax, so if you can I would bring cash Parking: We parked at the Golden Gate Park and walked over, but there's also street parking right outside (2 hr limit on weekdays I believe)

I used an online contact form and asked the specific location in GG park / or near the park , that a person goes, to rent . I got no answer. At least a week has passed. The park is huge. I'm living in Hayward. I haven't been to GG Park in years. Without specific location information, I risk not finding the rental station. I won't be driving, but rather using a bus to HAYWARD Bart, then Bart to Powell, then Muni bus to the Segway station. Without an address, and specific directions once I get off Muni , I don't know where to get off the muni at , and don't want to get lost and end up walking in a wrong direction. If I can get directions from the Segway rental employee or admin , then I would like to come. At this time Im still invested in making the journey and renting. 9/27/25. Thank you.

At first, I was concerned with how easy it was to download the app and start riding the moped. Boy…read morewas I wrong! I quickly got the hang of it and as of today, I've completed my 15th ride in the month and a half that I've been a user. I've loved how: 1) Easy it is to find a moped around the city. It's not as easy as riding a scooter so the supply of mopeds will almost never be a problem. 2) Easy it is to park. You can pretty much park it anywhere and not have to deal w/ finding parking in the city. 3) I've been able to find joy in the monotony of getting from point A to B. It's always an adventure :) I'm looking forward to trying the day pass for an all-day adventure!

Here is my review of the new Revel scooters you see on the streets…read more I signed up recently out of curiosity and online I found a free $20 credit and no sign up fee. I signed up a few days prior before I wanted to use the moped. The sign up process and safety quiz take about 20 minutes, so it's best to do it ahead of time. It's hard not calling it a "scooter" as thats now the typical nomenclature for the Lime electric scooters you see. When I signed up, I was charged a $5 fee. A few days later after the charge cleared I emailed Revel to see why there was a fee even though I applied a coupon that was approved. Revel refused to refund the fee. I suggested it was fraud and to close my account, but they counted to say I had $30 in ride credits that I would forfeit if I closed my account, so I reluctently keep it open. A few days later I had a couple appointments to go too. I found a moped about a block away. Unlocking was easy. In the rear of the moped are two helmets and a few hairnets (for covid). The larger of the two helmets was very tight on my head, but thankfully it fit. You are required to wear their helmet. It then took me about 5 minutes to get the moped running. I followed the instructions, but it was not intuitive and the display was confusing. The moped has a USB charger and a place to hold your phone. Riding the Revel moped was fairly easy. Its been a few years since I rode a moped so it took some time for me to get aquatinted with it. I got to my destination and parked in a meter spot. I had seen other motorcycles and mopeds parked in metered spaces so at first I thought it was ok. About 10 minutes before my appointment I got nervous about where I parked and decided to call Revel. There was San Francisco specific parking info available in the app. Revel said that parking in a meter spot was not advisable and that I was responsible for the moped 24 hours after I parked it. So I had to hold my appointment and move the moped around the corner to a residential parking permit zone. After my appointment, I had to move my moped again as it was only in a 1 hour residential parking permit spot. So I took it home and parked it where I found it (also in a residential parking permit location). Here are my tips that Revel doesn't tell you. 1) San Francisco allows electric moped companies to park in residential parking permit locations. It doesn't say this in the Revel app or on its website. https://www.sfmta.com/projects/shared-electric-moped-parking-permit-program 2) The cost of the Revel for a 20 minute ride was about equal to that of taking a Lyft or Uber. 3) It's easier to get up larger hills with a moped vs a electric scooter. You basically drive it like you would a car. 4) The rear compartment is filled with helmets. So going to the grocery store with it isn't a possibility. 5) Mopeds are not like scooters. You can't park them anywhere, you have more rules to follow, there are more limitations on where to drive, and you must know how to drive. Overall the Revel moped was nifty, but with the parking restrictions, cost, and limited use, I don't see myself using it more frequently.
