    On set taco party!

Peyo's was our film set caterer for 4 days in August: bkfst, lunch, and dinner! On time, delicious, and great variety! We usually picked up the meals but one day they came to set with their grill and made fresh tacos and fixins for lunch, a real crew-pleaser. Lovely owners, family business, delicious fresh food. Thank you Louis and Lucy for your excellent food and professional reliable service. We love Peyo's! Highly recommend to any filmmakers needing yummy and nutritious food in the Hudson Valley Our crew was approx 20 ppl/day.

Got the Peyo panini and it was very good. Great place if you are looking for a quick bite.

A very nice place to stop for lunch. Good food and nice people. I was surprised to find this place not far from the Taconic Parkway

The salad itself wasn't bad. I enjoyed the dressing. The chicken was mediocre at best. No seasoning on the chicken and it was a little rubbery. My vegetarian daughter might have rated it higher as she doesn't eat meat. Who knows. I would like to try to place an order in person and see if the experience is any different.

However they do deserve a five star rating because they are offering something different compared to any other place in Catskill. The place is called "The salad bar" however their sandwiches are just as good if not better than the salad. The ingredients are always fresh and I've never been disappointed. Prices are fair considering the quality and overall we need more places that are different and unique like this in the village. They have small cozy area for you to chill and enjoy your meal and the service is always quick and friendly. Many of the towns in the Hudson Valley have been revitalizing their downtown areas with great success but Catskill Village seems to be moving a lot slower compared to those other areas. The salad bar is one of those places that's helping it move forward.

My order was receiving mixed reviews: the salad I got was very small and the bowl did not allow for mixing, so a messy endeavor at best. The staff is really friendly, so the service hits a five. Loss of stars is for the price and the inconsistent quality of the ingredients.

I'm so glad I found this spot--it was exactly what I needed to reset. Food: 4/5 I ordered an ahi tuna poke bowl and a smoothie, and overall, it hit the mark. The tuna wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was still solid--fresh enough and well-balanced with the toppings. The smoothie, though, was delicious. I'd honestly come back just for that alone--it was cooling, clean, and packed with flavor. Atmosphere: 5/5 The interior design here is beautiful--very calm, airy, and just a peaceful place to sit for a bit. It felt like the kind of space where you could relax, journal, or just quietly enjoy a meal without the bustle of a typical café. Really appreciated that. Service & Price: This is more of a counter-service place--order at the front and grab a seat. No complaints there; everything came out pretty quickly and the staff was kind. As far as price goes: yes, it's on the higher end. A bowl + smoothie can easily run you over $30 which feels like a lot when compared to, say, a hearty Italian sandwich around the corner. But I get it--healthy food often just costs more. For me, it was worth it this time around. Overall: If you're in the area and looking to take a break from heavier meals, this is a lovely spot. It's not a cheap bite, but it's fresh, clean, and satisfying. I'll definitely be back for a smoothie if I'm nearby.

Plum Mezcalita cocktail was perfection! Not too sweet, and like the food, interesting and out of the ordinary. The kitchen was very careful and very educated about gluten free eating, which I appreciated. Service was excellent. Our server, Megan, was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The ambience is very simple and very sophisticated. This dining room would not be out of place in NYC. The bonus for us was the chef was misdirected to our table, and he ended up chatting with us about his background and the thought behind the restaurant. What a pleasure! As a 35 year resident, I can get grouchy about some ways the area is gentrifying (cough, Silo Ridge, cough, Westerlind) and I was prepared to be grouchy about Isabela. Instead, I've been completely won over and now I'm a big fan. Definitely will return soon. Isabela is a great restaurant!
