We decided to stop in at Old Richmond Grill while running errands nearby. We had read reviews and…read moreknew it was a smaller place with only five booths and ten seats at the counter. There does not appear to be any real defined parking but there sure were a lot of cars parked around the small building. We picked a spot near the back. When you walk inside, the booths are along the front wall to the right and the counter seats are to the left with the kitchen area behind that. Lucky for us when we arrived a booth had just became available. There were several people picking up to go orders during our visit. We were quickly provided menus and our drink orders were taken. The menu consists of both breakfast and lunch items. My wife chose the supreme omelet, potatoes and a biscuit while I chose the double bacon cheeseburger with tots. We also couldn't resist ordering hot chips with ranch. Old Richmond Grill is the epitome of a down home greasy spoon diner. You could tell this is a gathering place for regulars by the interactions between the staff and the other customers. The walls had writing all over them in random colors from what we believe are people that have visited. Nothing fancy here, in fact we read the bathroom is located on the exterior of the building but the sink is inside. We can attest to seeing a sink on the wall in the dining area so we assume it's accurate. Our food arrived quickly and looked good. The hot chips hit the spot but my wife felt her omelet, potatoes and biscuit lacked flavor. I really enjoyed my burger and tots.

This is a very small diner with about 4 booths and stools at the counter. The placed filled quickly, several booths with small, noisy kids - it got loud and hectic in a hurry. People waiting for a space stood all over including right beside my booth. I got a take out box, packed-up my mostly uneaten sandwich, and headed for the hills, better to fight another day.

The patties had great flavor, the bun held together, and the chili and slaw were tasty, but not oozing out of the burger, which is perfect for me. The potato salad is obviously house made, and though a touch sweeter than I prefer, was really well made and delicious. I took a chance on the brownie, as UE doesn't say if there are nuts, and I was happy to see there were none. Hand wrapped, moist, and I got a corner piece for the win. I will definitely stop by when I'm on that side of town, order from Uber Eats if I'm in the mood to be lazy.

I am definitely impressed with how quickly it was ready and how seamless that process was. Less than 10 minutes all around. My husband had the fish filet po'boy and I had the Asian spicy chicken wrap. They both looked good, and the sides came in generous portions. It would be a 5 star review if not for the chicken in my wrap. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the driest chicken I have ever eaten in my life. It was truly a struggle to chew it, and it's so sad because the other components could have made it great. There was also zero spice to the wrap, despite the name. I would still like to give them another try, but this was a disappointing first impression.

I finally found one that hit the mark on both Service and Food. I have to give a huge shoutout to Aaron! He took the order as we went through the drive thru and he made sure everything was right when we got to the window. He had a great personality and did a great job. He gave us options on things we asked. When I asked for Ketchup he gave me regular and said "try this it's our spicy ketchup" We ordered onion rings and he gave another sauce and said, "this is our favorite that most people love" Hope Aaron is a sign of this Whataburger doing things right. GOOD JOB!

The teenage order taker came out from the kitchen area and just looked at me. I finally said "hey, how are you doing". He didn't really respond so I just placed my order. To say he was disinterested is being kind. I got my napkins and filled my drink. The condiment section was lacking salt, so I just went to my table. When the food was brought to me, the employee offered me two kinds of ketchup. Her tray did not have any salt on it either, so I had to ask her to bring some, which she did. Very perfunctory. The burger and fries were just barely warm. The fries tasted fine, but we're nothing to get excited about. The burger patties were thin, dry, and insipid. The toppings were just average. Again, the burger was on the wrong side of warm and did not taste fresh at all. There's just not much positive to say about my experience here this evening. WHATABURGER? Try WHATADISAPPOINTMENT.
