I've been to a few Whataburgers, one in Amarillo, Texas, the other in High Point and this location in Winston. To be honest I've never been super impressed with Whataburger. It's not bad by fast food standards but it's never really wowed me, and every place I've been to has always been a super long wait. Unfortunately this one wasn't much better and once again I was waiting a reaaallly long time for my "fast" food. It was a little busy when I got there on a weekday evening, but even considering I was still waiting an awkwardly long time. The manager there seemed to be keeping a good handle on things at least and was professional and polite, so kudos for that. If I really wanted Whataburger for some reason I'd come back here but only if I was ready for a long wait.

Finally got around to trying Whataburger after waiting for the hype to die down since it's been so busy. To be honest, the burgers were good, but nothing too special. I'd say if you've never tried them, it's worth giving it a shot at least once. I did enjoy their fries and onion rings, and the customer service was very nice and friendly. What I didn't like, though, was how many flies were inside. For a place that's still pretty new, that's something they really need to address. Overall, I'd rate my experience a 6 out of 10, next time Ill see about trying their breakfast menu

I grew up in Texas, so I may be a bit biased, but I genuinely think that for the price, the classic double meat Whataburger is one of the best fast-food burgers outside of In-N-Out. They haven't shrunk the size like many other chains have to stay competitive, and I was very full just from the burger alone. This location, however, seems to be going through the typical "new store rush," and I'm curious to see how it settles over time. I took my son on a Friday evening around 5 p.m., and it was packed. The drive-thru was slow, both kiosks were out of order, and only one register was open. The staff was friendly but not moving with much urgency. When you visit places like Dario, In-N-Out, or Chick-fil-A, everything runs like a well-oiled machine. This was definitely not that kind of experience--at least not yet. Hopefully, as they hire more or different staff and get into a rhythm, the experience will improve. Stay tuned.

Waited 30 minutes for cold chicken sandwich and fries.

It took 30 minutes for me to receive my order. If you're going to be this mediocre, then you'll fail. Besides, today's visit reminded me of the Whataburgers on the east coast of Florida, which no longer exist. At this rate, just stay in Texas! We have enough mediocre fast food chains!. Additionally, I'm deaf, and when they gave me the number for my order to be brought to me, the lady next to me realized they were calling out my number. They knew I was Deaf since I used my Notes app to write that I was Deaf, what I wanted and what size. Maybe grasp that not everyone is hearing!! Edit: I failed to mention that when it arrived it was cold, not even warm. COLD.

I grew up in Texas eating Whataburger so having them now in NC is a treat. There was a very busy drive through so we dined in today. Regular original Whataburger and fries, dipping sauce and a drink ... yummy.

So I came in with mindset that I'll compare it to In and out or Culvers ...it was just meh. Patty had no flavor but I liked how it was mustard forward. I ordered it with grilled onions but it was barely there. I had to lift my bun and look for the grilled onions. Fries were good and the service was great even for how crowded it was. I'll come back only if my husband is craving it and just get the child's burger.

So now that this location is finally opened I decided to stop in. I went rather early before it got very busy. I knew what to expect but I went anyway! Just like the one in Greensboro and the other NC locations, this place will be swarmed, receiving near cult adoration. I have eaten the burgers offered by this Texas based chain for a number of years, in Texas of course. I also try a cheeseburger at the recently opened Greensboro location. The burgers, FF, and Fried Chicken Sandwich are decent ( most of the time), but fall short of the best choice among national chains, as well as far short of many local options. For a national option I would prefer Culver's or Freddy's, and my local choice would be Cook Out for both quality and value. Many will come, not all will be happy with the results!

It is our absolute favorite spot for burgers. Like seriously, no other burger has been able to touch the flavor bomb in my mouth that I get at Barcelona. Everyone at the front counter is always cheery and welcoming and the wait for food is never long maybe five minutes. everything is fresh made right when you order it. the sweet potato fries are absolutely delicious. It's a low-key casual spot that has a beautiful outdoor seating in the back. Beautiful as in, very simplistic tables and chairs, but in a cute little garden like area that has sun shining in and plants. it's a cute little feel. Now these burgers, are delicious. We've only gotten the Barcelona burger and not tried other options because that one is so freaking good. The single has even more flavor than the double somehow because on the single patty, you can taste all of the additions: the Barcelona sauce, the tomato, the lettuce, and all of the flavors just explode. Their meat is tender. It's a thin patty and it's just delicious. If you're looking for a good, simple burger that's packed with flavor and you aren't looking for a gigantic hunk of meat, This is your spot. They do offer beer and bottled drinks and they also have desserts on site.

They had more on the menu than I expected, from smash burgers, to buttermilk fried chicken to, obviously, poke bowls. I built my own bowl, and was very happy with the result. It began as a poke bowl place but has since added everything from rice and noodle bowls to burgers and hot dogs to sandwiches and wings. It hasn't gone full Cowfish (yet), but trying to offer so much is a risky proposition. And yet, if my visit was anything to go by, the eclecticism didn't come at the cost of execution. I popped in shortly before noon on a Saturday to find the restaurant mostly empty (though patrons were pouring in when I was ready to leave). It's definitely a casual space - counter service with disposable bowls - albeit more colorful - and a decent bit costlier -- than a fast food joint. I was nearly set on building my own poke bowl when I spotted a cold noodle section of the menu. Peanut salad noodles with shrimp sounded too good to pass up. My food came quickly, and it hit the spot. The peanut sauce had a spicy kick, the cabbage and peanuts offered a satisfying crunch, and the shrimp were cooked well. I had lowered my expectations based on the atmosphere, but I shouldn't have: this dish would have held up at a more upscale place.
