I come here with my kids frequently. It's a lovely neighborhood park. It's hidden at the end of a residential cul-de-sac but it's easier to find with your GPS if you're not familiar with the area. There's a couple of playscapes, there plenty of room for walks, biking, and walking your dogs. There's also stream with a path through the nearby woods. My kids love playing hide n seek and tag here. They have have a couple of swing sets here as well. The bathrooms are also dealing well kept. I definitely recommend this park for your kids and running or walking your pets. It's not the best park if you want to have a large gathering and barbecue. There aren't any barbecue pits or covered area for large groups to sit and eat. There's plenty of parking. Definitely check out this park if you're in the neighborhood! read more

Such a cute little park tucked away near downtown Pflugerville. There's a ton of stuff to do ( playground, basketball, volleyball, creek, etc) with lots of shade. The downside is the lack of parking. Get there early to secure a spot. read more

Decided to check out the parks in this area and this one was pretty busy even at 6 am. We opted to explore the river area along the edge and walked down a pretty long distance. It's very pretty and there are a lot of photo opportunities if you like nature photography. I am not sure if we stumbled into Bohls Park by walking so far but the river itself is a very nice walk. read more

It's hard to believe a park this large can be so hidden. As far as I can see, parking lots are found in the middle and at the ends of the park. We parked at the entrance of Pfluger Park at the end of City Park Road, and there were more than enough parking spaces. If you love walking, running, or biking down paved roads with the sound of rushing water in the background and plenty of trees overheard, Pfluger Park is a gem that must be explored. Scattered throughout the park are numerous playgrounds, a pool, and open fields. It takes a long time to walk from one end to the other, and you'll get a good dose of ball games, nature, and a few ducking under highways throughout the trip. Even saw a birthday party and photo shoot going on. Away from all the playgrounds, the ambience is pretty peaceful and quiet. It appears to be pretty well maintained so barely any littering to spoil your afternoon dose of vitamin D. You love dogs? If not, you're lying. The trails are fairly wide, so walking your pets shouldn't be a problem! Only downside you might have is that the entire trail is unidirectional. No giant loops, so once you walk to the end, you gotta turn around. read more

Wow...This place will almost make you think your in Zilker Park. Large and open and full of great trees. Old Live Oaks, Red Oaks, Pecans, Firs and many others. Meandering walk path along a beautiful creek. Great central plaza with covered seating next to a nice shaded play scape. Great public pool for summer fun. Awesome spot for a quiet walk or bike ride or talking with some friends, or letting the kids run loose for a good time. A hidden gem for sure. Pflugerville has established a great path of neighborhood parks, many connected by trails with this one being the heart of them all and most impressive. Its also the home of the annual Pflugerville Deutschen Pfest which is a treasure we get every year in May. read more

What an absolutely gorgeous park. So peaceful. So quiet. So quaint. Relaxing. Enjoyable. Shaded to the max! One of our favorite parks yet...and we have been to a few... :-) There is a beautiful creek just beyond the playscape. So relaxing and peaceful...I didn't want to leave it. Its a creek..so very shallow no danger of allowing the little ones to explore and perfect photo ops!! A truly beautiful setting. I loved it. My kids loved the play area, of course. My some even mentioned to me how he liked this park more than many others cause it was xo clean!! And that it was. I was impressed. Since this was our fort time here its hard to comment on the crowd it brings...but I will say.. It was nice. The people were friendly. It felt very safe. Nothing disturbing or ghetto which I am truly thankful for. It was just an amazing trip to a new park...that we will venture to again very soon. I'm dying to see this place in the late fall. Ahhhhh. I love this park. It's such a great place for walking my dog. It connects to the Pflugerville trails, and there's a creek that runs through, Gilleland Creek. There's almost always fresh water in the creek, and my pup and I like stopping to get out feet wet on hot days. We haven't used the pool or pavilion, but they're popular. read more

Nicely paved trails for walking and jogging, a playground for the kids (w/ swings), various courts and fields for sports, and then of course, a creek. You can even reserve the middle benches and grills for large events. We dropped by on a weekend to take a family stroll around the trail. The best part of the walk was the abundance of shades created by all the large trees that kept us cool most of the way. The park was relatively clean and had a nice atmosphere overall. Parents this is the park to bring your children to. The park is awesome! Very well shaded. Big trees everywhere picnic tables with barbeque pits. Restrooms close by with lighting. Playgrounds and swings for your kids to enjoy and plenty of benches for you to sit and watch your kids safely. There is a creek that runs through and walking paths. It is relaxing and peaceful place to enjoy yourself or with your family. It's definitely a great place to have an out birthday party. There is a pool that is available to the public. I will say when it gets busy here it gets busy but you can still enjoy yourself. Parking maybe hard to find though when it is at it's busiest times. It's definitely great place to let your kids get their energy out. :D read more

I love coming to this park. It's beautiful and well maintained. I'm not a fan of paved trails, but it seems that most parks in the area have gone this route. I enjoy bringing my dogs out for a quiet stroll and to enjoy the creeks along the paths. Highly recommended. read more

They remodeled this park to where it's not suitable for ALL children. My 4 year old cousins can only do a hand full of things while watching other kids having fun. They should have never re done the park :( read more

New to Pflugerville and wanted to take my dog to a park for a nice walk. Stumbled upon this park and was SO pleased. Imagine walking under the shade of huge trees, breeze blowing and a beautiful flowing creek alongside you. It was so peaceful. My dog loved it too. We did not even experience the rest of the park, but I saw a really nice playground and some open fields to play. They have a few gazebos where they host events at this great park. We are going to take a walk in this park at least once a week! read more

Shame on me for not knowing about this park as it is literally right around the corner from me! It is a beautiful greenbelt with a flowing creek. My dogs enjoyed it...but definitely keep your dogs on a leash as there is a lot of activity; in less than a mile I passed a few playgrounds, a church, a school and a community pool...I'm sure this is the happening place to be in the summertime ;) read more

I am a regular walker/hiker, and this was the third place that I tried when I recently moved here. If you are looking for paved walking trails, this is the place for you. It also offers various trails that go up to like 10 miles or so of walking, if I remember the signs correctly. The park is well maintained, and the restrooms were so clean! It is also very family oriented and pet friendly. I was touched by the "Fallen Heroes" of Pflugerville monument, as I am so thankful and support our troops! read more

This park is so neat. There are different parts of it to enjoy! There is a kid friendly playground that has a wooden little playhouse that has been there for many years. I used to play in it as a little girl. There is a creek to explore and possibly see wildlife. The park has a nice shaded picnic area. Gilland Creek park is attached to it with a huge pavilion and city pool. The park also has great trails to bike and hike on. There is also a basketball court and sand volleyball court. Pfluger park is a wonderful and easy to find park in Pflugerville that offers all the accommodations of a big city park in a small town. It is always clean with little to no trash on the ground for my kids to get stuck on their shoes. They equipment is maintained and has been functional and as sanitary as one could expect for a public park. I take my kids here often and we play in the creek or on the swings and playscape area. They also have a full basketball court and a covered Pavilion area that is often taken advantage of by families and businesses for reunions, birthday parties and impromptu get togethers. Ive never had anyone be anything but friendly and I'm confident that most people will feel as comfortable as myself in this rich, diverse atmosphere. Went to take a dog for walk that we are dog sitting. We found this lovely park with great paved walking trails. There are plenty of trees barbecue pits, benches, volleyball pit with net . There was a creek running along the trail also. They do have dog poop bags but they are super thin and hard to open . . I did enjoy the park and do recommend it but bring water. read more

The running trail isn't so bad. It's quiet with plenty of areas for team sports or picnicking. I think I'll go back when I have more daylight to really explore. I had a 2.5 mile run and then enjoyed the music in the park. What a night! read more
