We have been going here ever since we got braces for our kid..But lately from couple of months I have noticed that Dentist is loosing patience on our questions. He gets irritated if we ask him any details about our kids braces. As it is close to one year with braces for my kid, I enquired on how many more months to go for the kid to be on braces! and he did not like it.. We had no complains so far but since the behavior repeating just thought of sharing my concerns to check whether any other patient's have faced the same issue or it is only us! I came here for a consultation and ended up choosing a different practice. The staff is friendly and Dr. Phan is obviously very knowledgeable. However, I wasn't at all satisfied with the hygiene. Another reviewer has mentioned that the doctors not wearing face masks when they worked on her. I noticed this too! I too found this place significantly less hygienic than the other practices I visited. It was little things including the sinks, surfaces, lack of face masks, and cleanliness of the x-ray scanner among other things. On the other hand, this place offered me the smallest adult braces so my daily life would be affected as little as possible. Wish I had Dr. Phan when I was young and had braces! Dr. Phan is an amazing orthodontist and made my daughter's experience with braces easy and painless. My daughter's dentist said she needed braces to fix some of the spacing in her teeth that was caused by her molars. When I asked for any recommendations, he immediately named Dr. Phan. It was easy to schedule an appointment and my daughter immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Phan. He was friendly, made her feel part of the consultation, and explained how the braces work. After the consultation, I met with accounting and they went over my insurance coverage, any out of pocket costs, and payment methods. My daughter was nervous about getting braces but by the time the braces were on, she was all smiles. All the follow up appointments to adjust the braces were quick and easy, none were longer than 15 minutes. Dr. Phan also encouraged my daughter to floss and care for her braces because doing so would decrease the time she would have to wear them, and it worked, she got them off two months sooner than what was initially anticipated. Each time we went for an appointment, we were greeted by the friendly staff and they welcomed my daughter by name. After the braces came off, fitting her for her retainer was quick and she still wears them during the evenings as directed by Dr. Phan so her teeth do not shift. Dr. Phan and his staff were amazing. I absolutely love this place! When I first started looking for an orthodontics place I wanted something that was affordable and reasonable so I went around looking at different places. Some locations would say that consultation was free but always ended up wanting to charge me for the scans. Phan Orthodontics caught my attention because they actually stuck with what they said the consultation was free from any cost. I decided to start my treatment with them and it was estimated to be for 18 months but I ended up getting my braces off at 14 months. This was great because I got them off sooner than expected; this was also do to the materials that were used. Phan Orthodontics uses high quality material and something called Opal Seal. When I first started thinking about getting braces I was hesitant because I had seen other individuals that had braces and noticed that they had white spots on their teeth because of braces. The Opal Seal prevented my teeth from getting any weird stains or white spots. Overall, I was really satisfied with my treatment. The staff are really friendly. Dr. Phan and his staff are absolutely amazing! They are always so accommodating with scheduling and always seem to have a spot open if you have an emergency. Dr. Phan is extremely thorough, especially during his consultation process. When I went in about a year ago, he was so patient and made me feel completely at ease by answering all of my 500 million questions. Never once did he make me feel like I was pestering him or that he had anywhere else important he had to be. Each appointment after was the same. He always made it a point to tell me about the progress I had made and what he would be doing during that specific appointment. Although he has a dental team to do the actual work of changing the ties, he always provides them with direction. Janet, who I think is the financial coordinator, was also so helpful in contacting my insurance to see what would be covered, how much they would pay, etc. This was the process I was dreading the most and she did it so effortlessly! After she contacted my insurance, she had all the answers to my questions, and even some I hadn't thought to ask about. I got my braces off about 2 weeks ago (faster than Dr. Phan had originally quoted me on) and I could not be happier with the results. In the brief time that I've been with Dr. Phan and his staff, it has become clear that he truly values each patient and will accommodate them to the best of his ability. The treatment was excellent, Dr. Phan and the staff always happy to answer any questions or concerns I had. If there was a 1000 star option, I would choose it. Dr Phan has treated both my daughters for the past 7 years. My oldest needed both Phase one and Phase two to correct just a few dental issues. Dr Phan and his staff helped us work out a very reasonable and fair payment plan as we have no dental insurance. My youngest daughter has been a tough case as we discovered she had a deformed adult front tooth, which needed extraction, leaving her with a big space in the front of her mouth. We were devastated to hear from several dentists that she would need to wait or, get a bridge to hold the space until she is old enough to obtain an implant. After consulting with Dr Phan he came up with a plan of action to gently move each tooth up a space in order to close the gap. Not only did this save our family a fortune, but he was able to complete this work in just over 2 years helping my daughter regain her self confidence and giving her the most beautiful smile.
