I had a friend come in town and we decided to go for hookah around 8 o'clock in a Thursday. We chose this location because it was near the hotel and I had been a few years ago. The service was just okay I guess for a Thursday. We ordered a iced hookah and it wasn't good at all. The ice was supposed to keep the hookah from being harsh and I felt as it didn't. I have had better at home with my own. I went to the restroom and there was no tissue at all. So that tells me no one checked it that night. It wasn't but a few of us and I also remember asking the guy if he could turn the music up. It's was like a conference room people on their laptops working like we was in a meeting lol. This is a very chill, dope spot out in Irving. Prices for hookah are amazing ($17). I will say that they "nickel and dime ya" for the necessities you may need to go with their BYOB. Cups, ice, soft drinks/mixers... they have it all, but at a small price. The DJ comes in at around 11/12 o'clock. Until then, they play music via YouTube (which they also let you type in what you want to hear). Food is available and it's at a decent price. Customer service is GREAAAAAAT!! Upon walking into the lounge, the ambiance initially gives off a welcoming vibe, but unfortunately, that impression didn't last long. For someone like me who seldom indulges in hookah, I was expecting a slight buzz after an hour and a half, but to my surprise, there was absolutely none. On the bright side, the flavor was delightful. That said, the pricing structure seemed a bit unusual. Even though I told the man only TWO of us are smoking ONE hookah, our party of three was charged an additional $10 simply because of our third non-smoking companion was sitting with us. What took me back further was the automatic 18% gratuity fee that was added regardless of our party size. For a party of 3? The transparency at the time of payment was questionable, too. I was hastily shown the bill without a proper breakdown of the charges. After doing the math in the car, I concluded it was $44 for 2 people with a single hookah. And he still had the nerve to show me the tip screen lol. The menu advertised only $19 when we ordered. You be the judge. A word of advice to the management: Transparency and honesty go a long way in establishing loyal clientele. Opting for shady business practices offer short-term gains but can be detrimental in the long run. Consider revisiting your policies for a more customer-friendly experience, and most importantly, a sustainable business practice. read more

He was also trying to talk low and discreetly as other customers approached so they couldn't hear what he was saying to us. Came here on a chill bachelorette night and enjoyed the services! We tried the ice hookah and regular one and I have to say I prefer the ice one, very nice very smooth. This place was really cool! I was looking on yelp for something loungy and Pharaoh's popped up. I like hookah occasionally so it was perfect. Since it was a Tuesday, it was pretty quiet but there were still a fair amount of groups and couples there. Since it was my first time I asked what they recommended and ended up with the Mango/Peach. They come by often to switch out coals which is great. They provide cups, ice and mixer if needed. BYOB and there is a $3 per person which isn't bad considering they could charge a corkage fee if they wanted to. Music was good though they played Keke like 12x haha! I met a nice couple who let me try their ice hose and it's way better with the ice! I'll have to do that next time. Overall great customer service, chill ambiance and great seating. read more

This used to be my go to spot because it's convenient and the music is generally the best part. But now I can't stand it here. They charge people $10 to get in and ANOTHER $10 for not smoking hookah (even if someone else in your party IS smoking). Plus a $5 BYOB charge per person. Strictly Hookah review - no food. Came here to enjoy some hookah and as I walked in I noticed "insta-coals" or as I would like to call them "rookie/tourist coals" on people's hookah. I thought to myself, crap, amateur hookah bar. When I was greeted I asked if he had any Coco Nara coals or equivalent, which to my surprise he said he did. Once he said that I sat down and ordered my Hookah. As another poster stated this is not the place you bring a honey to impress as the furniture is pretty run down but more of a place to chill or pregame with friends before going out. So, my friends and I went here to try a different vibe but we preferred the more relaxed energy. This place reminded us of a club (which some people prefer). I gave it 3 stars because we had several people come over to take our order and we felt rushed. We went on a Saturday night and it was super busy (so that's understandable). They don't serve alcohol here (only non-alcoholic beers and sodas, etc), but you can BYOB. I thought it was pricey overall for what we got. Plus, they make you pay a "cover" for those who aren't smoking, which really sucked. We came as a big group on a Monday night, and most of the booths inside were taken. We ended up in the back patio area, which was nice since it was exclusive to us. Hookahs started at $16.99/each, and I believe they only give you 2-3 tips/hookah, then you have to pay for additional. They definitely upcharge you for as much as possible, and additional hoses were $4.99/each. We tried an Ice Hose Hookah ($19.96), which was interesting, and the first I've seen that offered. They add a hose attachment that has a frozen part at the end, so you get an icy/cool note in addition to your flavored tobacco. Out of the flavors I tried that night, I liked the Watermelon Mint the best. The Peach Mint and Mango Strawberry tasted too fake. The Pan flavor was interesting, but the Zombie (Hookah w/ a rum base instead of water) was too harsh for me. For some reason, their hookahs got harsh really quickly, even though they changed out the coals and rotated the tobacco holders. I would rather check out a different hookah place the next time around, in hopes that they wouldn't charge for every single thing, and that their hookahs didn't get harsh as quickly. Parking was easy here since they have a big lot and there were plenty of spots. read more
