Been coming to Joe for years (mostly to add trailer hitches for bike racks.) They do an amazing job and Joe is always very up front about the process and what the pricing will be, so i find it hard to believe these people that give the bad reviews. Terrible experiences here, I would give 0 stars if that was an option. My family has been giving business to this place for over 10 years, the quality of service deteriorates more and more every year. The man who works the desk and answers the phone is extremely rude. He overtalks customers, does not listen when you describe the problem at hand, is very disrespectful when trying to make and appointment, and tries to charge you extra for services you don't need and did not request. To be frank, he has a temper and needs to watch his tone. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. They are very poorly run and operated. No clue how they were able to stay in business for so long. read more

They turned an annoying problem into a positive experience by being helpful and going above and beyond their responsibilities to me. I'll try to summarize. I bought a new car in November, and the dealer added an aftermarket remote start as part of my deal. About 4 weeks ago my car would not not shut off late in the evening. I called the dealer and the service manager tried to help me, but in the end I pulled some fuses and got my car to shut off by myself. He said it was probably a one-off and not to worry, it probably wouldn't happen again. I also called my salesman and reported to him what had happened. He said - not my issue, take it into service. So today - same thing happens. Car won't shut off, but since it was still early I called the dealership service department. They told me it wasn't their problem, take it to Phase Four, they installed it. I call them, they say bring it out, they're going to stay late and wait for me (very nice in retrospect). I'm annoyed, but what can I do? I drive over here, ready for battle, they pull my car in and say, m'am, this isn't our device. WHAT? Apparently the dealership switched vendors a few months ago and hmmm, the service manager & my salesman don't know or forgot. So - Phase Four unplugs my device and gets my car back to normal even though it's not their device or problem. The woman managing things was so nice and understanding and zen about being dumped by the dealership (supposedly for a relative of someone there). It's not a fancy place, but they apparently know what they're doing and they were really helpful and kind. That goes a long way for me. OMG!!! What a horrible experience. I had no choice but to give him one star but he doesn't deserve that. Before I decided to write this I took several hours to cool down from my experience. I needed some information regarding a past purchase that I made 2 years ago and Joe the owner was incredibly rude, loud, obnoxious, condescending, verbally abusive and kept cutting me off on the phone. I was telling him that he was misunderstanding me but it didn't matter. He kept talking over me and would not listen nor did he want to hear anything that I was trying to explain or say or take the time to help me. Then he hung up on me. Are we still in grade school? Remember I purchased this item from Phase Four and was asking about the purchase that I made from him(Joe). Unbelievable! Hey Joe don't you run a business? Aren't you supposed to help out your customers? I helped you out by purchasing from you and from your business and and you couldn't even help me and answer some questions about a product that I bought from you. I took my 2015 Nissan Altima in to Phase Four, on 10/23/2018. One of my Key Fobs wasn't working. I DO NOT have auto-start. It's just a standard key fob to start the car, lock/unlock the doors, open the trunk. I'd heard Phase Four was good & could help me. The owner tried the non-working fob, & took it to his technician. Awhile later, the owner came out & said "Your car's not set up for auto start! My technician took your dashboard off". I told him I KNOW I don't hv auto-start. I had asked if he could get my fob working!! He had THE NERVE to charge me $38, for his technician removing my dash!! I had just had surgery & would normally NEVER pay that since it's NOT what I asked them to do!! Nope, will NEVER go there for anything, anymore. That was my first time there. read more

Phase Four is a place that I've been going to with my vehicles since I turned 16, I'm 40 now. It's the place my Dad has gone to with his vehicles, and I just followed in his footsteps. With each visit over the decades I have been completely satisfied, the service is quick, and the prices can be surprisingly lower then the competitors. I believe that's because of their low overhead, as there a no-thrills company (nothing flashy), and just seems to be a family run business that's been a statue in the community. However don't let the simplicity fool you there very technical and knowledgeable about the products they sell, and very friendly in sharing that information back to the consumer. This leads me into sharing my most recent experience with my 2016 Polaris Slingshot in which I needed an alarm for, however according to internet blogs an alarm for a slingshot in highly unlikely/impossible. Well I figure I'll take it to Phase Four and see what they say, and after some discussions with Damon (technician) he was up for the challenge. He made sure to let me know that it's something he never worked on before nor is there any documentation as to how to work on a Slingshot, but said he'll give it his best shot. I decided to leave my brand new toy in their hands, as I was confident that if I give them the proper amount of time to work with this new machine that they (Damon) could come up with something to fit my needs. Well when I received that phone call from Phase Four about 5 hours later to hear the outcome, I was ecstatic to hear the words "we got it." It felt like a complicated medical procedure was the task, and Phase Four (Damon) just "nailed" it and accomplished a successful procedure with my newest toy. When I went to pick it up and seen the professional install, mixed in with the alarm features they were able to incorporate into the Slingshot. Well it just proved they took on the challenge and not only accomplished it, but exceed all my expectations. I feel I'm the only one driving a slingshot with a "real" alarm system, and it's an amazing feeling to have thanks to Phase Four. Lastly the cost, well I thought it was going to be something crazy but was blown away that they still only charged me their standard security alarm rate and didn't gouge me like I feel a competitor would of. Well, my 1st written review ever on the internet. I felt compelled, because of Phase 4's phenomenal service that I've enjoyed over the years. Right now, I'm scheduling an appointment to have my 16 year old auto starter that they installed in 2001, looked at-- it's first and only repair! A company and a service that is just great all around. Starting back in 1984, my 16 year old self and all my buddies went here for our sunroofs ( very trendy back then... ha ha) You could only imagine the damage that a company could inflict on a 16 year old kid. No worries, I'd send my 16 year old daughter up there today-- I'm that confident in them. At age 16, we were treated like any other customer. Same service today at age 48 as when I went in 32 years ago !! I'm going to mess up, but I believe the owners names are Joe and Nancy ( pardon if I forgot their correct names.) Either way, the husband and wife team are simply great !! And their technicians-- they are over the top with huge experience. They are the hidden gems of this whole operation. Definitely NOT some person with basic experience. These guys are ultra-talented. Overhead is ultra low-- so please DO NOT be put off by the looks of their shop. You are definitely not paying for their overhead. Please bring your Ferrari or Lamborghini here any time. You are 100 % assured on great service at a super fair price. Your vehicle is safe with them, and for most services, you can make an appointment, and just wait maybe an hour and drive away with quality and value. All types of running boards, bedliners, bed covers, truck steps, sunroofs ( still !!!,) alarm systems, auto starters, seat heaters, dvd/entertainment systems, etc. Probably missing several other things that they do. You won't be disappointed. I shop around for everything. I do not have to with Phase 4. They are the only place I shop when I want something-- they tell me the price, and I get it.
