This is the Phat Tai Express Hollywood Casino downgraded to in their location. I order chickened fried rice. It had zero color, one heap of endless brown hues. The taste....a lot like rice out of a bag. Like uncle bens instant rice. Cardboard flavor and very stale. I could not force myself to eat it. At $12 for this plate, I brought it back and told them it was disgusting. The employee was nice about it and offered me to try something else. With such a limited menu in comparison to the original Phat Tai that was here, I wasn't sure what else I would want to try. He offered the chicken lo mein. Just as tasteless, colorless and inedible. I only wish I had taken a photo of the chicken fried rice when my visit began....but including the lo mein. Will definitely not come back here. read more

I ate here at 1 AM, honestly expecting not so great food because it was late and the only thing open. I walked up the cashier was very friendly. She answered all of my questions. I believe her name was Sammie. I ordered the beef lo mein, beef and broccoli, egg rolls, and crab Rangoon. Everything tasted great and fresh! They also were VERY fast about getting us our food! The BF introduced me to this spot, since he really enjoys their food. It's a casual spot inside the casino literary on the floor by the tables. The staff is friendly and patient and will recommend food options to you. The prices are slightly higher of course because they're in the casino. The quality is worth the price. The pot stickers are kicking butt and taking names, literally!!! You have to try them, they are utterly delicious!!! The fried rice and lo mein are flavored nicely, I really enjoyed them mixed together. The portions were enough for us to share except I determined immediately that we needed to order another round of pot stickers. I will definitely return to continue thru the menu. Hot and Sour Soup 5/5: First off, two of us split a hot and sour soup as an appetizer. It's $6, but it's big enough for two people. In fact, I wouldn't recommend that a single person order this unless you plan to make it your meal. We asked to split it, and they brought us an extra bowl. It was in my top two best ever hot and sour soups. Sesame Chicken 5/5: If you cut it open, you could see the super moist white meat on the inside, tender and cooked perfectly. On the outside, it was a light fried breading that just the right amount of crisp but not too much and just the right amount of sauce but not too much. One of the best sesame chickens I've ever had (and that's saying something for me since this what I usually order everywhere). 4 stars overall only because it got a little busy toward end of evening, and our server was stretched thin and it took a while to pay our bill. No issue with our server - just unfortunate this was the case. I'd say maybe they should have had more servers on staff, but it was late on a week night, so perhaps this is out of the ordinary. I'm somewhere between a 2.5 and a 3 star but I'm going with a 2 star because of the quality of the meat in my Pho. I was thinking to myself going in "self you're going into a Pho restaurant in a casino....this is going to end only one way....especially since they used only plasticware" Luckily it didn't end the way I expected with a trip to CVS for tummy medicine... They have a rather large menu which is pretty reasonably priced with the exception of the appetizers. I ordered the Pho and it was accompanied by a nice plate with greens, bean sprouts and jalapenos and a lime. The bowl was medium sized and had meatballs and noodles and meat. The meat which is my gripe was thickly sliced and had a LOT of fatty grizzle on it which is NOT how Pho should be served. The broth had a nice licorice taste to it. The fried rice itself was excellent. Just what ever you do, stay away from the Beef at this place. Also, the service has spurts of good service, but ultimately we sat and waited for about 10 minutes just to get the tab closed out... Didnt realize you need to talk to the front. Maybe thats my fault. I think if youre wanting some chicken or shrimp dish for some quick food, then this is a mediocre or even in some cases above average place. This place is in the back by the bacarrat tables not in the front by the steak place, buffet, etc. The prices are on the pricier side. I've tried many things like pot stickers, noodle soup with duck, wonton noodles, shrimp with snow peas, hot and sour soup, etc. Everything taste pretty authentic like you would find in Chinatown. I ordered the Pepper Steak Rice Noodle dish. The noodles were super thick and delicious and so was the sauce. Toppings consisted of 20% steak, 20% red pepper and 60% green pepper so I was disappointed with that variety. The peppers seemed as if they were not on the fire for more than 30 seconds. It was a good dish and served very quickly but the service was absolutely terrible. I ordered from a waitress and another waitress sloppily set it in front of me. I wasn't served a water or even asked if I wanted a drink and no one asked how the dish was or how I was doing. The check was placed next to me soon after I received the food. I left cash after I finished my dish and walked out. You would've never known this place existed unless you gamble and you got hungry for Asian food while you gamble (actually you are most likely an older Asian person who likes to gamble). None of these describes me at all but I am kind of a porker and just happened to be at the right place at the right time. Now picture this: It's 1:30 AM. You find yourself west of I-270 looking for something other than diner food. You are probably somewhere between sober and drunk-off-your-a$$ but you are hungry and you don't want to settle for Steak n Shake (you know, the one with floaters in your water...actually, that's all of them). Somehow you got dragged to the casino by some drunk friends who want to spend $5 on the slot machine and get their free sodas. You get on the casino floor, past the old folks with oxygen tanks, and low and behold, an Asian noodle bar (apparently it's part of the "Asian Gaming Room", which sounds racist as hell, but maybe the employees speak Asian languages? No clue). You think to yourself: am I really attempting to get authentic Asian food in a corner of the casino? The answer is yes and you are gonna be really glad you drove past the Steak n Shake with floaters in your water. The noodle bar is tiny and the cooking area is completely open. At a quarter before 2 AM, there were four older "chefs" shuffling inside the small space. They are all Asians but I don't think they are from the same country. A cloud of smoke continuously to rise out of the hot woks. We get the pho, the Taiwanese rice noodle (with bbq pork, onions, shrimp), the meat buns, the pot-stickers, and the roast duck soup. Everything tasted awesome and not just because it was 2 AM. The soups had big portions and delicious broth, the roast duck was tender, the shrimp not even a tad over-cooked..All the flavors were really spot on and they even had Vietnamese sweet chili sauce (also syrachai) to go with your meal. It actually brought back memories of traveling in Asia, when food stalls would be open late late into the night, with people huddled on make-shift benches, slurping their noodles under tiny murky light-bulbs. You know you've hit a home run when you can find that feeling in the corner of a casino in the Midwest. Thank you Phat Tai! Worst service I've ever had. Three tables ordered ate and left before my husband and I even got all of our food. They brought out my entree with our appetizer. Then 40 mins later brought out my husbands food with the green beans we shared. No manager ever came to talk to us nor did they take anything off our bill. Basically we paid almost 70 bucks to watch each other eat at separate times while other couples are together. What's really frustrating is the fact that the manager never came over to apologize. I downloaded the Yelp app just so I could tell people about this restaurant. It was very difficult to enjoy our food when the server and one of the chefs are having a heated exchange. "NO DONT TALK TO ME, YOU PISSED ME OFF. I AM NOT KIDDING. STOP" that went one for about 10 or 15 minutes. We ordered the Tso chicken. Food came out and all the chicken was stuck together and was over cooked. I tried to tell our waitress but she was preoccupied talking to the other waitresses about how much she hated the chef and how she deserved better than this job. This place sucks. Really gross. I ordered chicken fried rice and an order of egg rolls. The fried rice smelled burnt and had black scrapings from the wok. The chicken was grisly. The meal was vomit worthy but just when I thought it couldn't be worse, I tried to take a bite out of the egg roll and it tasted and smelled like it had been cooked in rancid grease.
