The bread was fresh and toasted perfectly, and the regular size sandwich is very filling. I ordered a large sandwich to take half home for my husband for later. (I'm not sure how it will reheat, but it was too good not to share.) There is some outdoor seating, though this location is at the edge of a somewhat crowded parking lot on Ballas, so I might suggest eating inside if you can find a table, or taking it to go. I appreciated the detailed pickup instructions when ordering online. I knew exactly where to go to find my order. It was hot and ready when they said it would be (less than 20 minutes after ordering) and it traveled well back to the office. Yum!

A few picnic tables and a cart with condiments and such. We each took our turn in line and then grabbed a table to eat. The orders were prepared quickly and soon we were all enjoying our sandwiches. I got the roast beef on white toasted. No cheese, no butter, just plain. I wasn't sure what to expect based on white bread, but it was a typical sandwich roll. I wish I would have asked if they had au jus because it did need something. I got some giardiniera and that added some heat but I think au jus would have been best. The roast beef was plentiful and had a great flavor, I was pleasantly surprised.

I loved the spicy sauce that was used to make it hot chicken and somehow it didn't make the sandwich soggy at all. The slaw was more of a vinegar base, so it didn't weight it down with a heavy creamy flavor. Also the pickles were heavenly and I want to eat them on EVERYTHING. Moving onto the handcut, double fried fries. They were crispy and such a delight to see on a food truck, as far too often you get sad, pre-frozen fries. These were phenomenal and we ate every single one of them! You can practically taste the quality through the photos, they're everything and more than you'd imagine. The fries are what I would go back for since they were really the best part of the meal. The chicken sandwich was just okay for me. I think the flavor was lacking, but the chicken was moist and the breading was crunchy; I just wish it had a little more flavor. My husband had the Nashville hot chicken and said that it was just not as hot as he had hoped. This is a good option for a food truck and I would go back to order again in hopes that the flavor would be better next time!

We also love the tomato soup, it's great on a cold day. The service is always fast and friendly. 2 things that have changed that have made the experience a little worse than it used to be....1) changing to Grillos pickles. The old pickles were much larger and way tastier. I really do not understand the Grillos hype, they are bland. 2) switching away from Deep River chips! There was nothing better than getting spicy dill pickle chips to go along with my sandwich. Boulder Canyon is still good but not the same.

The menu is plentiful and has so many different sandwich, and salad options to choose from. I was contemplating between the chicken bacon ranch wrap and the Cubano. I opted to get the cubano. My sandwich came with slow roasted pork, ham,Swiss cheese, deli mustard and pickles. I got mine on white bread. They put the sandwich in the oven to warm it up and melt the cheese, then gets dressed in what ever toppings you want. I chose to keep mine as is. The pork needs a little more seasoning, but over all, it was delicious. The meat was very tender, bread was so fluffy and soft. The deli mustard was not too tangy. I also grabbed a lemon cheesecake cookie. It was soft, chewy and had cheesecake pieces incorporated into it. I would definitely get that again. Plenty of seating inside and seating on the patio. It is noisy inside so if you're looking for a quieter place, i would take my food to go. The parking lot can become busy and congested due to it being in a plaza with other businesses. Another fast casual establishment where either employees do not use gloves or their gloves are an extension of their hands, meaning they mop and clean up in the gloves, FINE but wash your hands and change your gloves afterwards. Also, take your gloves off if you're handling money and why are you wiping your nose with gloves on. The cup of soup if $5, well over priced for the portion size. The soup itself is hearty and the big draw is that the soup has pot pie crust sprinkled on top. It's more of a deconstructed pot pie that you eat like a soup then being a soup. The eggnog shake was $5.59 which was priced correctly for the cup size. The shake had a slight eggnog flavor but not that power packed punch that I was expecting. They use real milk in their shakes and I the quality of the ice-cream. I would recommend trying one of their shakes. My co-worker ordered both the eggnog shake and went back before we left to order the banana pudding shake which he stated tasted exactly like pudding and enjoyed that shake over the eggnog. I have tried a few of their sandwiches since our office has used them to cater lunch several times. The sandwiches are literally just ok, more miss than hit. The wreck I find is the most flavorful and the chicken bacon ranch is over-rated. I would not go out of my way to purchase a sandwich from here and spend my own money, they are far better sandwich shops to chose from. The only item that I absolutely LOVE from here is the jar of Hot Peppers. Now their jar of giardiniera is the BEST!!! It's a mixture of jalapeños, carrots, cauliflower, peppers and celery. It's also a pretty large cookie, so good for sharing... or not The berry trio walnut bread had great structure despite being packed with nuts and dried fruits -- really thoughtfully baked and especially amazing toasted. I found some spicy truffle chips I hadn't tried before. Ordered my usual, the hot pastrami on rye with deli mustard. Yum! The wait is never very long with 3 people or 20 people in line; they have lots of people behind the counter. Once your order is ready, you step to the register to pay and you on your way.
