I have been here before and it has been ok. Small lunch portions for the price and workers with attitudes. I just made the mistake of going back on my lunch break today because it is close and I was short on time. When I told the lady I wanted fried rice, but to go, she took the menu out of my hand while I was still looking at it and walked away swiftly. When I got back to work and opened the so called fried rice, it was very disappointing! It was basically white rice with boiled chicken and a couple other pieces of pale meat. There was nothing fried about it, loosely packed, and completely flavorless. I added the 2 packets of soy sauce, hot pepper to try to spice it up, but that wasn't enough. The resteraunt appeared to be clean as far as I could tell. The employees/owners don't look up from their phone or offer any sort of greeting when you walk in. The only one moving around was the rude lady. I will not be going back here, nor recommend this place. I will go the extra distance on my lunch break to Golden Wok, where the owners are extremely friendly and grateful for your business, and the food is delicious everytime. read more

We have not been here before but decided to give it a whirl tonight for takeout. Ordered easily through GrubHub/Yelp and received confirmation relatively quickly that our order was received and will be ready in 20-30 mins. By the time my husband and I finished cleaning up, our food was ready for pickup. I arrived and they have designated spaces out front for pickup (which is great) - which I snagged and headed in. Inside is somewhat small in size with seating available for dine-in. I was greeted & scooped my food to head home. Food was ready and piping hot - perfect! Got home and everything we ordered & needed was included. I was thankful they also provide actual hot mustard (most places don't) along with all other condiments. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken - which was delicious and flavorful (not remotely spicy) and shared Crab Rangoons. My husband enjoyed Orange Chicken with Chicken Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon. He said the Orange Chicken was very good however didn't think the Fried Rice was fried enough, but still enjoyed it. So! I really wanted to like this place but it was a 50/50 for the two items I ordered. I did order online which was easy and fast. The sweet crab Rangoon were very delicious no complaints there at all. But! The almond shrimp was just absolutely flavorless. The shrimps were pretty big with lots of vegetables but not flavor what so ever. Same goes with the fried rice it comes with. The staff were friendly when I picked it up. Will definitely be going back for the Rangoon buts that's it. read more

This is our go-to place for takeout Chinese food, even though many other places are closer to our house. I always get the same thing--yaki udon with shrimp--because it's so yummy. The shrimp are large, fairly plentiful, and always perfectly cooked. They don't skimp on the good stuff, unusual for many takeout restaurants. My husband likes the Kung Pao chicken, although it's too spicy for me and much hotter than Kung Pao I'm used to. But I think you can request different levels of spiciness. The food is always ready when promised, packaged well to stay hot on the way home. I just wish there was an alternative to so much plastic packaging. read more

This was of "go to" option for Asian food for many years when we lived in the area and once we moved to St Charles (2017) we still find ourselves compelled to drive back regularly. You're average Chinese restaurant. We dined in and since there was no one else eating in the service was great lol. We got the crab Rangoon appetizer and they were so good highly recommend trying. The main food, sweet and sour chicken and general tso chicken was good. The sweet and sour chicken was okay but the general tso was so good probably some of the best I've ever had!! We just moved into the area and decided to venture out and try and find a great Chinese take out place with fantastic crab rangoon. This was our second stop tonight. (Yes we tried several places) The restaurant itself was very clean and family friendly. They even have a larger tv to watch ( wheel of fortune for the win) The menu is huge! Chinese and Japanese food. So many items to try! BUT my daughter wasn't impressed. Remember we were only here for crab rangoon. It was definitely not your typical take out food. Delicious. I had to come back again last night because I craved their Hot & Sour soup. So tasty. Plus I had to have some of their crab rangoons, which might be the best I've had around here. We also love their Mongolian Beef, although, I wish they would put the rice sticks on top, rather than on the bottom. I like it when it's crunchy, but that's my only complaint. A fusion Chinese/Japanese restaurant that had recently opened - it's a great place to go & enjoy your Japanese and/or Chinese foods. The staffs are very friendly & accommodating. Restaurant is clean. There's a variety on their menu & they are flexible in changes or adjustments to your orders. We ordered the Chicken w/Cashew Nut, General Tso Chicken, XO Chicken Fried Rice, Eel sushi w/White Fish (a special request where they could add the white fish), Tuna Roll w/Avocado & this Sushi roll with Crawfish (check out my photos). They were all really good (with the exception of the sushi roll with the crawfish - which was on the heavier side but still good!). Prices are reasonable (Around $10 - but you can find some for less & of course, some for more). For those that are weight conscious, they also have a 'diet' section. This place is my childhood! I used to go here all the time with my family and It is absolutely amazing. It's family owned and the staff is super kind and friendly and the restaurant is very clean. It's a Thursday night and I am the only person dining in the restaurant for much of the time I was there. I ordered a hot tea, a hot n sour soup, and the Pork with Garlic Sauce dinner. The hot n sour soup was excellent. If you know what it's supposed to taste like then you know you want an ample amount of heat, a pungent acidity, and you don't want to taste the cornstarch you taste in many American versions. This one was good. The pork with garlic sauce was just fair. Thankfully this did not have the thick breading but I did taste a bit of cornstarch in the sauce. The dish itself was not served hot and while it would satisfy a quick craving it left a lot to be desired. They do quite a bit of carryout business and a large party sat down shortly before I left. This place was our destination for a quick lunch before a doctors visit. I'll break it down into my usual list (I love lists): Food: Above average - The orange chicken and sesame chicken were definitely a cut above you typical sugary red sauce and rub meat chicken. This was pretty delightful and the chicken arrived with plenty of crispiness. The crab rangoon was the more savory variety. Crunchy and delicious. The fried rice was a bit bland, but nothing you couldn't power through. I had two sushi rolls while I waited. The Alaska roll and the Spicy Crawfish roll. Both delicious, but nothing to write home about. Restaurant: Clean and well kept. No complaints. Staff: Friendly and professional. I found the staff very warm and friendly. No complaints. I ordered the Mongolian beef, it was way way way too salty. Omg. I eat a lot of Asian food but I couldn't eat more than 1/3 the dish before I had to stop because of how salty it was. To top it off, the entree cost like $13, which is kinda high for your typical Chinese restaurant. Peiwei charges about the same for Mongolian beef, but theirs beats the food I got from Asian House hands down. read more

Even giving Kung Pao chicken one star is being gracious. It was not only terrible, but when I asked for ginger in it, the cook put whole hunks of it in the dish. I have had this dish in many different restaurants and they have no problem with SHAVED ginger to the dish. Very dissatisfied. read more

I was really surprised to find good Chinese food out here in St. Louis. My favorite was the crab rangoon. They have 2 different types, a sweet one and a savory one. Both were delicious! They also stuffed it with an ungodly amount of crab. My friends and I ordered a couple dishes and they were all really good. We had the Singapore noodles and the hot braised chicken. Both were as good as anything I've had back in LA. I also saw a lot of sushi rolls being ordered. We didn't get a chance to order any since I was hankering for some Chinese food, but the sushi rolls all looked amazing. Never again. Maybe the Chinese food is ok. Sushi was terrible, the salmon smelled fishy and tasted off. Rolls were muddy tasting and it was impossible to tell what was what, everything looked alike. My husband and I were looking to try a new sushi place and we stumbled upon the Asian house. It is a small quaint place with a mixture of Chinese and sushi spreads. We chose to indulge in their sushi menu. My husband ordered the Philadelphia Roll, salmon nigiri and the veggie Roll. I ordered the crunchy roll and the amazing grace roll. The portions are huge so come hungry!!! We were pleased with the food it was flavorful. The ambiance could have been better. As a long-time customer, I was shocked as rudely as we were treated at this restaurant today. After checking their hours online, we drovee 20 minutes here for lunch. Their hours posted on their door confirmed what we saw online, that they are open until 2:30 pm. Arriving at 2:12, we were told we could only have our food to-go. I explained that we live too far away and that the food would be no good by the time we got home. When a restaurant posts their hours, they need to accept customers until that time. This is the standard practice for every business. The woman at the restaurant was extremely rude and actually slammed the door in my face as I was talking. After years as a customer, I WILL NEVER RETURN and I discourage others from spending their hard-earned money at this establishment that has ZERO RESPECT for their customers. read more

Very strange experience. I sat at a table for about 5 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. The place only has like 12 tables. A woman kept walking by me with water yet never looked my way. Even if she was busy she can say hello, bring me water, drop a menu, something. Finally I ask her if I am invisible. She says..."Oh I don't work here." Interesting. Then she comes over to my table with a menu. I said, "I thought you don't work here." She said, "I'm only helping out my friend." Hmmmmm. So I said, "Well why would I order from you, you don't work here." (I'm playing the game, see where it goes.) She walked away. New gal comes over to take my order. I ordered two sushi rolls. She says..."We're out of sushi rice." I said, "It's Friday night. You're a sushi restaurant and you have no sushi rice. Can you make some?" (I really wanted sushi.) In Japanese, she asks the chef, who then came over to ask me what I want. From there, I couldn't recite the conversation cuz it made no sense to me.
