This is one of my favorite malls to shop at. It has stores I like going to like FYE, Newbury Comics, Target, and others. Really the only downside is there are not many places at this mall I like to eat at. Burger King, Pizzeria Regina, Joe's, all those places I liked eating at are now long gone. But I mostly come here for shopping, so I won't worry so much about coming here for eating out. read more

Fun fact: the mall is shaped rather weirdly because it almost perfectly straddles the NH/MA border. Must... avoid... sales tax! This mall is the shopping base for most people within a 50 mile radius. The Burlington Mall is for rich yuppies. The Pheasant Lane Mall is where Real People hang out. (... except for teenagers after 9pm on Fridays because they're now banned or something. So much for those epic Freak Fridays of my illustrious youth!) As way too many days of my life have been spent wandering these air-conditioned hallways, let me give you a few pointers: 1) Avoid the food court at all costs, except for the Haagen-Daazs, which has something like 70 CENT fountain sodas. OMGWTFCHEAP! 2) The shoe section at Sears is a total nightmare 3) On any given day, the Target is obscenely picked over 4) That elevator in the center of the mall is prone to breaking down 5) The "park" type area in the center of the mall (also near the elevator) for some reason attracts some kind of sketch characters. Avoid. And good luck finding parking here any time between Halloween and New Year's. No sales tax + some snow + Christmas shopping road rage == bloodsport as Massholes and New Hampshirites duke it out. Unintentional hilarity. read more

This review is for Simon Mall Customer Service at Pheasant Lane. My mother in law purchased several Simon Mall gift cards totally over $1,000. When I tried to use my gift card at LUSH it was declined. I called the number on the card and was told the card wasn't activated. I notified my mother in law just in case some of the other ones weren't activated either. She had the receipts for the cards and called Simon Mall and left a message and hasn't received a call back. She went to the Mall this morning and was told the lady that handles it won't be in until Tuesday so she has to go back again. One thing though- the people that work at LUSH were super nice about it and even though I was really embarrassed about the card being declined they treated me great! Thanks LUSH! This is a review of glow golf... My boyfriend, my 7 year d son, and I, came at 645pm and Matt was finishing a personal call up. When he addressed us, he said he was hungry and needed to go get dinner and would be back by 715. So we went to dinner and came back at 810 pm. Matt then said that he was closing in three minutes. I pointed out that when we called earlier in the afternoon we were told they were open until 9, and this quieted his attempts to close early. We paid for a round of mini golf and had a blast. When we were on the second to last hole Matt informed us he closes in two minutes. I checked my phone and it was 8:53pm, so I told him we had 7 minitues to finish playing the game we paid for. He threatened to fall security on us if we didn't let him close 5 minutes early so we left. In our rushed state we got on the up escalator forgetting we parked on the first floor. We turned around on the down escalator and ended up behind Matt. He had two mall employees with him and began telling them about "the last customer of the night..." before he noticed me a few steps above him. He then forced a grin and said Have a great night before allowing his two friends to enter the mini golf establishment before re-lowering the gate. We will not be back and we will be telling our friends with kids. read more

Some of these reviews are a joke, you are going to a mall... imagine that... there's plenty of parking and lots of room to walk around. Unfortunately Sears has decided to close. There are good lunch choices and the food court has reasonable prices. read more

It still suits a purpose but there's a good 7 stores closed & 1/2 the food court closed! It's a shame they did all that redecorating & they can't keep stores in the mall! Also there is ALWAYS one escalator out of business & the elevator has been out for a month!! I'd rather go to the mall of NH! read more

I've known for a while that east coast malls suck but this one takes the cake. I made the drive from out of state because I wanted to buy some tax free makeup. Once I stepped in I was sorry I chose this mall rather than making a little of a longer drive to the mall in Salem. I'm not going to lie, the mall is ugly. And the quality of shops are nothing to write home about. I only enjoyed a few of the shops like pacsun, American eagle (it was a small one!), sephora, Newbury comics and sephora at jc Penney. I thought it was cool that they had a Dairy Queen stand and would have gotten one if I could have afforded the calories. I think the mall is only good for locals who need to stop by and get something. I would not encourage anyone to visit pheasant lane mall from out of town. read more

Ick. What a lifeless drone of a corporate cookie cutter mall. In the three years we've lived in the area, Pheasant Lane seems to have slide down the back side of the proverbial hill. Clothing is tax free in Massachusetts; the Macys in Burlington and North Shore offer a more diverse selection of merchandise. Yes, there is a Sephora and Apple Store. Still, they should be in the downtown shopping districts of our communities, not ensconced in a lifeless and sterile environment. With demographics changing across the country, as well as shopping habits, perhaps we will see places like Pheasant Lane morph into something else (wetlands? forest? a new community?) read more

Great place great location. But only bad thing I would say is the play area, parents are actually leaving there children there for 5 and 6 or more hrs. One young child told me her mum was in another mall. Think someone need to be walking by once in a while check on things in the play area. read more

This mall is conveniently located on the border of MA & NH, which makes for those living close by get tax-free shopping easily. I recently went here for the Macy's sale and ended up walking around. This mall reminds me of the Square One Mall, but in NH. Therefore, a little less ghetto, but more rednecky. I like that it has a pet store full of pups and other animals. There are many lower budget stores, such as Payless & Target. This is a decent mall with great shops surrounding it as well. read more

I am really impressed with the remodel! This mall used to look like it was stuck in the 70's with dark, dirty tan and brown decor and now after the remodel it looks like a real mall with bright, clean, crisp modern open decor. The new leather seating areas, with the new holiday decorations and high end stores like Apple and Macy's it's becoming a clean welcoming upscale mall again. read more

We've been to this mall quite a few times during the past 2 years so I am surprised that I haven't written a review for it yet. Reaching this mall is easy as it is right off the highway. Parking is also relatively easy and this is one of the largest malls in the area. As an added bonus to some, there's a Chick-fil-A in the food court, one of only 2 in the area. read more

Stay away from Sephora store Currently Sephora is running a promotion where they offer Free Mini Makeover. There's a poster at the entrance of the store, firmly stating Free Mini Makeovers are offered, walk-ins are welcomed. I walked in with 2 young girls, 6th graders, one of them white, the other of Indian descent. They requested the free Makeover only to be told to come back in 20 minutes because there was no makeup artist available to do it on the spot. That was at 7 pm. We went back 30 minutes later, when two employees simply looked down on my girls, from head to toe, and arrogantly told them the Free Makeover is available only if you purchase something. Total lie. They simply decided my girls weren't good enough for the free service (Could have been very well the race or the cloths the girls were wearing). They were simply lied to by two grown women, employees hired by the company to treat everybody with decency and respect. We didn't get any of it. I checked the poster and there was no message saying you need to buy something in order to get free Makeover. I'm the one who buys makeup all the time at that store, but that wasn't good enough. When I confronted the first woman who asked my girls to come back in 2o minutes, she gave me another lame excuse or lie, saying that the free Makeover is not available after 6 pm. I remind you, she was the one who asked the girls to come back in 20 minutes, at 7 pm. As I was talking more and more, presenting this unacceptable behavior on their part, the first woman, who turned out to be the manager, threw me out of the store because I called her out on her lies. She simply couldn't cope with the fact that I had all the arguments against their poor behavior. Not at any given moment they apologized or tried to make the situation better, they simply threw me out of the store because that's how they deal with paying customers. The worst experience of my life, two little girls who were spending a vacation day at the mall, were treated like garbage by 3 grown women, based on our appearances. We might be of a different color, or we might not wear designer cloths, but we didn't deserve that kind of treatment. We ended up going to Bare Minerals where the girls tried all sorts of makeup and bought something eventually. I will never ever shop at Sephora again. read more

Good mall, doesn't have a lot of good stores. They should add a Brandy Melville. I have went to Gypsy two times in the past year in a half. I went both times for cartilage piercings. It is so sad that this shopping mall has become a very unsafe place for families. There are posted mall rules about groups of 4 or more under the age of 21 are not allowed, this is definately something that should be enforced and clearly is not. I observed at least five groups of 5 or more under the age of 18 and saw two of these groups actively harassing people, making fun of individuals with disabilities. I said something to one individual and the whole gang became very threatening to me and my 10 year old. I was so angry I didn't think about the danger I was putting myself and son in, but should I really worry about getting hurt when I go to a private mall? Something needs to change like management and security stepping up and taking back the mall for people who are there to spend money and not worry about offending punks who are there to cause problems, deal drug and break into cars. No longer a good place to bring the family, very sad. read more

The Pheasant Lane mall seems like a place that is badly stocked, and no stores are " settled in". For example in Justice, the store is torn apart, not real decor and it just seems messy. Looked like a store ready to go out of business. Lush staff were very unknowledgeable compared to other local shops,the stock of bath bombs and other products are limited and stored in awkward ways. All around in this mall the staff were rather annoyed by having to do their job, parking is a disaster and the foodcourt is very small and hard to walk around because the aisle around the seating area is very small. More than anything, the mall seems very dark and dingy with no focus on displays or presentation. Victorias secret was a mess, staff unhelpful ( they were preparing for the semi- annual sale so that is fair enough). The lines were very badly managed and it seemed like enough registers were never open in each store? Maybe I'm used to the Burlington Mall and Northshore Mall and had higher expectations. Bottom line-- If you have to go there then I guess it'll work but if you want a day of relaxing, pleasant service and a more relaxed atmosphere with bigger spaces to walk around then try other Mass malls. They also do not have any nigher end shops like Bebe, Michael Kors, Hugo Boss, Betsey Johnson or other name brand shops you'd expect to find now and again. read more

Wow, this mall has gone through a lot of changes.! Pheasant Lane was one of the first malls to be built (1986) during the great New England mall creation era of the late 1980s (Sister malls Solomon Pond, Emerald Square, and Waterford Galleria would soon follow). My friends and I took the 2 hour hike just to see the place. At the time the 2 floor structure with brick tile floors, iron railings,antique like lighting, and colorful decorative banners (without advertisements) drew crowds from all over. In fact, the near by Burlington mall added a whole second floor in 1988 to compete with "the new mall". When I returned for a visit in the mid 2000s the antiqued retro decor looked tired, some of the store fronts were dated, and the mall seemed empty of foot traffic. Very disappointing. Update! Visited this summer 2012 and the mall was given a needed makeover with new carpets, brighter wall paint and leather seating . More importantly, the place now has gone from one sit down restaurant to three : Joe's American Bar & Grill, Red Robin, and Burton's Grill. All are attached to the mall but the last two can only be entered from the outdoors. What makes this mall a bit special too are some unique stores. Sterling's of Boston sells "American made" coats which are crafted in Massachusetts (the only other store is in MA). Dick Sporting Goods (one of their few with 2 floors and in a mall) and Chick -fil-A one of their few New England locations. The key lime pie served at Burton's Grill is worth the stop if your nearby. read more

I was impressed to find a coat check service at the Pheasant Lane Mall. Who wants to lug around a heavy winter while they shop? The service was excellent and I was able to check my kids and husband's coat within minutes. Great service from a great mall! read more

My son went to your mall wearing a shirt that he purchased at YOUR mall which was not disrespectful at all and he was harassed by your personnel which I find very disgusting. The first man to approach him and his girlfriend and their 8 month old baby was very nice and told him he couldn't wear the shirt anymore in the mall. That was fine but a short time after he was approached by another man he was quite rude and on a power trip making his baby cry saying he was going to escort them out and proceeded to call the police. This was so uncalled for as they didn't argue with either man. Then the officer told him outside that he was banned from the mall for 1 month! I could honestly understand if the shirt was demeaning to any people but the shirt had a picture of two eggs and stated lets get wasted... Sounds good! How rediculious is that! I wonder what others will think when I write it in back talk and I have him post it on every social media page that he can find. I find it terrible that you can take his money to buy this shirt but when he wears it he is harassed from your personnel. I will not be shopping in your mall again and I will certainly give a line to the store that he purchased it from to let them aware of this as well! Shame on you for allowing such a thing! read more
